This location is extremely short staffed. The one guy, very patient, did what he could but he had to do it all! The only reason I wouldn't recommend this location to someone else is because of the staffing issue. Otherwise I would recommendFelicia B.
I'm not sure why this particular location is so unprofessional but you guys need to so better and take some type of customer service course. My first issue is that it's always a wait rather I'm early or late. What's the purpose of doing every thing online and still have to wait over 30 mins for a reservation. 2nd all trucks need to be service and inspected before Giving out to customers the truck I received brakes and front traction was so terrible I thought we was going to break down. Third personal conversation between employees shouldn't be discussed while serving customers and/or stopping to engage in conversation while helping customers. The female worker from yesterday just "ghetto" and yes I'm black but she just was "I can't do this because of my nails etc etc smh Lastly you guys cut my storage room by accident but didn't accidentally call me or accidentally compensate me for the inconvenience. Drop the milage charges. Switch to no charge for a certain amount of mileage (I.E. under 50miles no charge then .69 per mile) I didn't even have the truck for the amount of time but feel I paid WAYYYYY to much for a 3hr rental. Not to mention, my truck wasn't available by my house so I had to drive an extra 15miles to turn it in. I feel U-Haul does this on purpose to drive up the prices and its ridiculous. Buy if I would have dropped of at a closer location they charge for that too. Your not helping the customer only your pocket. For a pick up truck for less than 3 hrs in Augusta I paid 75.00+. I just needed to move a bed and should've gotten a rental for a whole day instead.Yalonda W.

The staff were very nice and the facility was clean and inviting. Howevet, the trailer photos provided for my validation were not current as the drivers side fender well had been damaged. I couldn't update the photo, the link expired on me. Additionally, the trailer needed some maintenance, notably lubrication of the hitch and tie-downs but overall it was good for my rental.SPENCER D.

It wasn't close enough to the house for what we needed the truck for. Pick up was smooth. Drop off was not that great at all... the guy we spoke to before we left told me he was going to email my receipt and never did. He told me we were being charged $90.99 which was over what was originally estimated and we used less miles than what we originally told him. I am waiting for the charge to hit my bank account to call and dispute the extra charges. Not happy at all about that.ASHLEY H.

Easy, fast, and convenient check-in and check-out! It's been years since I rented a U-Haul. I was exceedingly pleased with the staff efficiency and online process.RONALD B.
There were sugar ants all in the cab of the truck, pretzels on the floor from the last use, handles sticky .. you'd think because of Covid they'd clean or Atleast sanitize the cab .. the people working at the store were very nice and patient . I joked about them not showing me how to hook up the car tow dolly, the lady laughed and said â€œoh no, of course we will show you!â€ Then they hooked it up to the uhaul while I was paying and never showed me how to hook/unhook . The directions were half ripped off on the dolly but I figured it out .REBECCA G.

Up until this past weekend, I've had nothing but positive experiences with the U-HAUL on broad street. However, this time, it was a complete disaster. I had rented a 26' truck online over a week ahead of time, plus the requisite needed dollies and furniture pads. To my surprise, when I showed up there was no 26' truck, no appliance dolly and no furniture pad. The best the gentleman could do for me was a 20' foot truck (which he said was their last, and I was lucky to be able to use) and he said I could BUY the furniture pads for $7/each. I received no communication ahead of time that anything had changed with my order or that it could not be fulfilled. I was also told that if my order couldn't be fulfilled, I would receive a $50 credit and UHAUL would still try to fulfill my order. I didn't even end up using the 20' truck, as I was lucky my movers were able to find and bring their own. I am super bummed by this experience and it will make me think twice (or three times) about renting from UHAUL again in the future.MICHAEL C.

Have the size truck available that was RESERVED by the customer days in advance. Once a firm reservation is made the customer should not be shuffled to two other locations to pick up a truck much larger than the one originally ordered.Rebecca H.

They didn't have the equipment I ordered so when I got there I was offered something else. I took that in place of the missing item. When we go outside to check the truck the item I needed was out there so I took that instead of what she offered me inside of the store. When I return the truck I got charged for both items even though I was told by the store clerk that she would change it in the system. I even offered to walk back in there so she wouldn't forget. But she promise it would be change, so I took her word. Called up there a day after returned the truck for a refund and of course they don't know what I'm talking about.Tysheena S.

The first people I interacted with were great and helped me right away, and suggested a better storage unit than I had chosen. The last interactions were not so pleasant especially from the owner/ general manager of the facility. There is no reason to ask for so much personal information and then when asked why it's needed when all other information was given, the answer is "because that's the way it is". That's not a good reason to ask for something and when told there are no more things to give should be acceptable and you move on. I should not be then threatened to have to move out of my unit I just purchased and moved into because of this. Then speaking to the next person above that and get the same excuse is unacceptable. Your policy needs to be updated and your computers need to allow people using them to continue on without delay. Then after all of that be charged for 2 extra days of use of equipment when it was barely over 1 day is also unacceptable especially moving from another state and having to pack and travel.nathan s. | First Impressions
