A/C did not work in the truck. Could not see out the windows due to frost. Had to go and switch trucks and ended up with a truck with 1/4 of a tank of gas. In addition the window handle was busted. I was still able to accomplish my mission.OMMANNAN G.

Absolute terrible experience trying to return a appliance dolly. See comments for the Gillespie St location. I did not know I was getting two surveys so I left all my comments on the other survey. Inside desk associate was absolutely terrible and did nothing to help us except tell us we had to go to the Gillespie location or call 1-800-UHAUL. We were there to drop a trailer so why make the customer (visiting from out of town) drive across town to unfamiliar location to drop appliance dolly when we are already at Bragg Blvd dropping a dolly. The only reason we drop to Gillespie the previous day was to get the dolly that Bragg Blvd did not have in stock. No solutions offered or help extended by desk clerk. No customer service. Return associate outside was awesome and friendly, but this was out of his hands. He tried to help but he was unable to. Terrible experience overall. Not what I expect from an actual UHAUL location.David R.

The truck that I rented the gas was right when I first pulled out but two miles down the road the gas hand shows that it is a full eighth of a tank less than what I started with. I called and talked to them and let them know because I didn't want to overfill it when I put gas in it to bring it back. I put $5 in it only drove it 16 MI and the gas hand showed back to where it started when I dropped it off then I just got the receipt that showed I returned it with more gas in it than when I originally started. So I got screwed out of money putting gas in it to compensate for what the gas hand showed and ended up putting more in it than I should have.Jonathan A.

Check-in and getting the Uhaul was great the lady that help me was awesome. However, I came back a little late and the heavy set gentleman look at me and shake his head and just walk inside the garage part without saying anything. The doors were lock and I seen it was 15mins pass the time so I went to the phone then the same gentleman came out and said that they were close and that I was late. He didn't tell me how yoreturn anything but there was another young man that came after him whom help me get it earlier he told me to go online and check-in.Shakeva R.

I have rented from this location many times, and I have never (I mean NEVER) had such an awful experience. The truck I was given was not cleaned, had broken glass in the bed that I cut myself on twice, and STUNK of cigarette smoke in the cab. In order to not cut myself a third time, I laid down the moving blankets. I was charged for those, as well as a cleaning fee (for a truck that I received absolutely FILTHY). I've written the manager and corporate and have not yet received a response. As a loyal u-haul customer, I'm honestly just shocked at this low level of customer service. As a military spouse that moves once a year, I am sad to say that I will not be renting from this location and perhaps any U-haul location ever again.Brooke S.

Pickup was slow and took an hour+ from when I arrived until I left. 1 employee running around outside in the rain, doing his best to help everyone. 1 employee inside, seemingly doing her best to check in customers. My RT trailer that I had reserved did not have working tail lights or brake lights. I waited 30 minutes while they tried fixing their trailer so I could hook it up and start my trip. My reservation time was 4 pm. Around 4:30, another customer came in and the worker outside said I could take that trailer. I went inside and did all the paperwork over again. I asked the woman at the counter for the $50 reservation guarantee money because my equipment wasn't prepared and ready to go by my reservation time. She challenged me, saying they only have to locate the equipment at any location. FAKE NEWS!!! She did the new contract and dismissed me without ever looking me in the eye. I went online and contacted uhaul customer service and explained why I was deserving of the $50, and that agent agreed and apologized to me. She said an email was being sent to the manager requesting the $50 for me. Yesterday when I dropped the trailer off at 4 pm, I asked to speak with the manager, because I hadn't received a phone call back from her regarding the email, but was quickly told she was in a meeting and The worker didn't offer to get my name/number, or anything to lead me to believe I'd be able to talk with the manager at some point...it was just â€œno, she's in a meeting...â€ Pretty bad service in my opinion, and I am still waiting for the phone call and a check in the mail... Until then, I'm referring all my friends and family to Penske because the UHaul reservation guarantee is a crock of $h!T.GEORGE R.

So there are a couple of things here I would like to say. While the help I received was good, it took forever to get said help. I waited for 45 minutes before seeing the only rep behind the counter (2 days in a row on 09 and 10 Nov). Then on the second day after receiving my card to access the storage I had to wait for it to activate, I was unaware of this. So I tried to access the gate without luck and then went back inside to wait 20 more minutes to be let in by the rep. Also I was not briefed and am not sure how payments occur for storage. Like if it is all auto payments, or if I will be paying for 1st and last month, or need to pay monthly at the location. If that is the case I only need the unit for 2 months and need to end my contract now. So I will also need to read the contract in full to see if these questions are answered there. This place is absurd. I returned my trailer the next day three hours before it was due. I arrived at 10:30am and a worker unhooked my trailer. Those employees failed to scan it in properly and charged me for it! Now I have to dispute this with Uhaul for a refund.Anthony W.

I arrived to pick up a 4x8 enclosed trailer for one day and waited in line for nearly 45 minutes. Then I was sent to where my trailer was, being told someone would be up there to hook it up for me and there was nobody. I waited for 10 mins more then the gentleman hooking it up didn't know which one (number) I was getting. It was a frustrating hour long experience and since I use I haul several times a month, I was pretty furious to be giving my hard earned money To a company with Such little disregard for my business or my time.Laura G.
