Fill the tanks and make sure the cab and back truck is cleaned before the next person. I rented a truck. My contract had a full tank. It was not full. If I had trusted the personal and drove off with a 1/2 tank then I would have to pay Fifteen some dollars to get it to full. Lucky, I was smart I looked at the gauge before I left and it was only 1/2 tank full.I did let them know that the van was only half full/ I picked it up and it was for a 24 hour rentsl. I picked up the truck at 9:00 a and I was told to have it back by six that same afternoon. I did bring it bat at 4:30 that same afternoon.

Less dependence on cellphone photos; I told the folks there that I didn't do a lot of that. To my surprise, when I returned the van, the location wasn't open (it was early on a Sunday morning) and it was then I found out I would have to take pictures of the exterior and interior - AND IT WAS POURING!!

Demitri, the old reliable, and Andre: Always there for me and I use this location for both business and personal needs. It seems a little understaffed so wait times may vary but overall a pleasant experience with excellent egress/ingress. I give a pass on the understaffed situation for now due to the wuhan virus.

Roof is out dated. My tv stand got damaged by water from the leaking roof so I had to toss it in the trash also 3-5 boxes was soaked with water and had to throw something away

Drop-off couldn't of been easier. First location I've been to that operated the return like a Car Rental Return. Great approach and model for others.

The one person working inside the UHaul center at the desk was with with another customer for several minutes, so we were checked out by another employee outside, who took our mileage and gas and checked us out on the phone he had and told us we were good to leave. When I got my receipt from UHaul a few hours later, however, I had been charged $40 for an extra day because the time returned on my receipt was 10:56, even though we had turned the truck in at the UHaul dealership and left before the required return time of 10:00. I now have to have this inaccuracy addressed as well.

They charged me for gas 15$ when I only went 31 miles and put 3 gallon of gas in and got the signature from management showing the gas in truck and what was on paper was different

A/C did not work in the truck. Could not see out the windows due to frost. Had to go and switch trucks and ended up with a truck with 1/4 of a tank of gas. In addition the window handle was busted. I was still able to accomplish my mission.

Absolute terrible experience trying to return a appliance dolly. See comments for the Gillespie St location. I did not know I was getting two surveys so I left all my comments on the other survey. Inside desk associate was absolutely terrible and did nothing to help us except tell us we had to go to the Gillespie location or call 1-800-UHAUL. We were there to drop a trailer so why make the customer (visiting from out of town) drive across town to unfamiliar location to drop appliance dolly when we are already at Bragg Blvd dropping a dolly. The only reason we drop to Gillespie the previous day was to get the dolly that Bragg Blvd did not have in stock. No solutions offered or help extended by desk clerk. No customer service. Return associate outside was awesome and friendly, but this was out of his hands. He tried to help but he was unable to. Terrible experience overall. Not what I expect from an actual UHAUL location.

The truck that I rented the gas was right when I first pulled out but two miles down the road the gas hand shows that it is a full eighth of a tank less than what I started with. I called and talked to them and let them know because I didn't want to overfill it when I put gas in it to bring it back. I put $5 in it only drove it 16 MI and the gas hand showed back to where it started when I dropped it off then I just got the receipt that showed I returned it with more gas in it than when I originally started. So I got screwed out of money putting gas in it to compensate for what the gas hand showed and ended up putting more in it than I should have.

Check-in and getting the Uhaul was great the lady that help me was awesome. However, I came back a little late and the heavy set gentleman look at me and shake his head and just walk inside the garage part without saying anything. The doors were lock and I seen it was 15mins pass the time so I went to the phone then the same gentleman came out and said that they were close and that I was late. He didn't tell me how yoreturn anything but there was another young man that came after him whom help me get it earlier he told me to go online and check-in.

I have rented from this location many times, and I have never (I mean NEVER) had such an awful experience. The truck I was given was not cleaned, had broken glass in the bed that I cut myself on twice, and STUNK of cigarette smoke in the cab. In order to not cut myself a third time, I laid down the moving blankets. I was charged for those, as well as a cleaning fee (for a truck that I received absolutely FILTHY). I've written the manager and corporate and have not yet received a response. As a loyal u-haul customer, I'm honestly just shocked at this low level of customer service. As a military spouse that moves once a year, I am sad to say that I will not be renting from this location and perhaps any U-haul location ever again.

Pickup was slow and took an hour+ from when I arrived until I left. 1 employee running around outside in the rain, doing his best to help everyone. 1 employee inside, seemingly doing her best to check in customers. Passenger side mirror was broken - this is a huge safety issue and repairs should be made prior to allowing someone else to rent this truck.

My RT trailer that I had reserved did not have working tail lights or brake lights. I waited 30 minutes while they tried fixing their trailer so I could hook it up and start my trip. My reservation time was 4 pm. Around 4:30, another customer came in and the worker outside said I could take that trailer. I went inside and did all the paperwork over again. I asked the woman at the counter for the $50 reservation guarantee money because my equipment wasn't prepared and ready to go by my reservation time. She challenged me, saying they only have to locate the equipment at any location. FAKE NEWS!!! She did the new contract and dismissed me without ever looking me in the eye. I went online and contacted uhaul customer service and explained why I was deserving of the $50, and that agent agreed and apologized to me. She said an email was being sent to the manager requesting the $50 for me. Yesterday when I dropped the trailer off at 4 pm, I asked to speak with the manager, because I hadn't received a phone call back from her regarding the email, but was quickly told she was in a meeting and The worker didn't offer to get my name/number, or anything to lead me to believe I'd be able to talk with the manager at some point...it was just “no, she's in a meeting...” Pretty bad service in my opinion, and I am still waiting for the phone call and a check in the mail... Until then, I'm referring all my friends and family to Penske because the UHaul reservation guarantee is a crock of $h!T.

So there are a couple of things here I would like to say. While the help I received was good, it took forever to get said help. I waited for 45 minutes before seeing the only rep behind the counter (2 days in a row on 09 and 10 Nov). Then on the second day after receiving my card to access the storage I had to wait for it to activate, I was unaware of this. So I tried to access the gate without luck and then went back inside to wait 20 more minutes to be let in by the rep. Also I was not briefed and am not sure how payments occur for storage. Like if it is all auto payments, or if I will be paying for 1st and last month, or need to pay monthly at the location. If that is the case I only need the unit for 2 months and need to end my contract now. So I will also need to read the contract in full to see if these questions are answered there. Other wise I had no issues.

The storage was great the truck however was the issue first a tire blew then head gasket all in the same day and then they couldn’t find anyone to transfer truck loads so we did it . The whole experience took a day of our travel with 3 kids and we had a deadline to meet .
