We booked for a 26' truck. We showed up to our reservation at 9 and stood in line for 20 minutes. Pick up was 830 am. We were told that trucks are only held for an hour. It wasn't an hour past so not sure why the statement applies. They didn't have the truck for us. We had to get a 20' truck which did not fit all of our belongings. That then meant, we had to take 2 trips and use double the mileage. We were charged double mileage and more gas because they didn't have a truck available for our reservation.DAVID G.

I dropped my auto transport off at 3 and it still hadnt been checked in after they closed so i had to drive down to u haul after hours and manually check it in i would love to speak to someone who can get me money back seeing as though i dropped it off 3 hours early and do to neglagence on the part of u haul it still wasnt checked in on timeMATTHEW P.

Had the truck scheduled a week prior to moving back home. Drove 8 hrs back to get the moving truck and they sent me to some location that didn't have the truck either and killed so much time and the manager did not give us any help with finding the truck we needed so we had to call around even tho we had this scheduled..BRADLEY K.

Uhaul employee ran outside to yell at my wife for parking in the wrong spot even though it was not marked and she was there to pick me up after the drop off. The workers that inspected the truck were awesome and made everything quick. This was a military move so I needed my receipt so the worker that inspected the truck used his phone to wireless print my receipt at the front counter but the employee who yelled at my wife refused to give it to me until I waited my turn in line. I was in line for 46 minutes just to get 2 pieces of paper saying the truck and trailer was turned in with a zero balance due.Matthew K.

Poor brakes, vehicle still had workers cleaning supplies in cab and I had to come back to location because the worker left a padlock on door. I tried to call and couldn't get through so had to drive a 42 mile round trip to get the code from the employee. BB (I think) was very helpful with the situation.Jeremy S.
I'm in the military I was helping my girlfriend and her children move. I received the van I checked the body no issues I walk inside the vehicle and it smelled terrible had to keep the windows down. Then when I was bringing the vehicle back the rear passenger tire exploded. I brought it back and the company is trying to charges me $150 even after I had insurance. Then I tell the associate she goes outside and checks the tire and comes back and said I hit a curb which was a absolute lie then she proceeds to yell and curse at me I literally just came back from Afghanistan fighting for my country and this is the treatment I received from your company. The dop off location, without my permission, and completely fraudulently charged a $16 cleaning fee to my credit card. My trailer was spotless and empty when I returned it. In the exact condition as when I picked up. This a terrible and deceptive practice. The manager and employees should be reprimanded for doing this. I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone and speak to a supervisor at customer service to get the charge reversed. I paid a lot of money ($342) to rent a small trailer. I returned it a day early. In clean condition. Then to get scammed for another $16 is horrible. The employee and managed at the drop off location should both be fired if this is their way to try and make more money.CHRYSTEM WALTER P.

Both pickup and drop off site was clean and personnel were very good. Only problem I had was somehow getting 2 estimates for same trip. Had to call back several times to resolve this. After guaranteeing that there would be a truck available for me at my initial location and having me switch to a online - phone app pickup, my location was changed and I had to go inside to get my rental. Inside I was displeased with the service. My renter didn't look me in the eye and I had no idea when she was talking to me or someone else. They had no blankets to rent and I found the whole experience very unpleasant. I would not use this location again, and I am extra annoyed because my reservation was changed from my initial desired location. The rental also had unexpected fees that I wasn't made aware of when I made my reservation online. Overall, very disappointed.Caleb R.

Yes I would recommend them if you haul learns how to answer their phones when their customers are calling to let them know that they did take all their belongings out of the unit and that the lock was still there but they want to charge you $117 but they won't answer the phone so that you can let them know when you work everyday and they're closed by the time you get home to inform them that the unit was empty and that they could have taken or cut the lock off if they needed to but nobody answered the phonestacia M. | Overall Experience

I was pleased with my selection of Uhaul for storage. It was a pleasant surprise to see the unit and its size. I have more than ample room to store my belongings. My bill was due in the 22nd of every month. I was able to secure a rental property moving my furniture on the 26th (4) days later to be billed for another month. That is unacceptable plus no at this location is never able to answer the phone. The call center can't help problems at a particular location. No I would recommend nor use U-haul in the future. Plus I'm paid up until the 22 of April to be advised that the storage 404 is no longer available to me. I didn't checkout. Bad business and a darn ripoff.Connie J. | Overall Experience

I was involved in an auto accident earlier in the year and advised U haul management that I was not able to pay the full unit rental and asked to be but into a smaller unit after a caught the payments up on the first unit. I did so and they didn't put me in a smaller unit. I just got out the hospital 4 days ago and answered an email in what my intentions were and I asked to make a partial payment and they refused to except that. Than they expressed other alternatives prior to auction and they never offered that as well. So my unit was sold and there was an overage which was due back to me. When I went to see the store manager Ms Kim she was rude and telling me that there was no credit due back to me when in fact there was because the letter clearly stated such credit. She made a big deal of it stating that she didn't have the cash or she didn't know how to do a credit. At the end of it she said the corporate office would half to send a check by mail which is fine but why did I half to come and spend an hour in the store for you to tell me this. I tried to call the store several times prior to going into the store. No one answered and I kept getting the stores voice mail. So not a good feeling dealing with U Hall at all. Not a pleasant experience at all. They could of worked out a plan for me especially by me being in the hospital after the auto accident.Kim K. | Overall Experience
