Add signage to the 2 parking lots. I parked on 1 side but my rental was on the other side and you can't access the 2 lots without going through the building.Alan M.
I was charged for two days and only used one..I even returned before the 10 hour period . I am waiting to speak to a manger to resolve. Desk personnel said they could not leave them a message and that I'd have to call back when they're in(2 days later). I used the website to sign out the car upon return and it said it couldn't complete bc of location services (which was on),,and it wouldn't finish because it couldn't identify my location.DEBORAH S.

I rent vans from U-Haul fairly regularly and one thing I notice is that the inside of the windshields are generally poorly cleaned. I realize it is not an easy task and it requires the proper towels and cleaners. I'm sure whoever cleans the vehicles is also under time constraints but more often than not the inside window of the rental vans are very streaky/smudged so much so that it could be hazardous when the sun is at a certain angle.CHRISTOPHER H.

I reserved a certain time (8:30am) and was then confirmed for a time much later that day (4:30pm). However, Charlene did make accommodations to improve my experience with the site. I also was charged for a dolly ($7) that happened to be on the truck that I did not purchase or need for my move. I was told by the two employees when I rented the Cargo van on Fridsy for 3 days that mileage is charged @ .79 cents a mile. When I returned the van on Monday my final bill receipt showed I was charged .99 cents. The man on duty said that's our weekend rate. I said I rented it for the weekend and was told that Friday that mileage would be assessed at .79 cents. He had already charged me .99 when he gave me the receipt. I ASKED FOR AN IMMEDIATE CREDIT BACK TO MY CARD FOR THE ,20 CENTS PER MILE. HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO SPEAK TO HIS MGR When HE GETS IN THAT AFTERNOON AND WOULD CALL ME. THEY NEVER CALLED. I WANT the .20 CENTS PER MILE IMMEDIATELY CREDITED BACK TO MY CARD!!!!!PETER L.

The parking brake handle in my small truck was broken. I did not see it at first and reported it soon after. The request was taken care of. However, this should have been fixed prior to me taking possession of the truck. It generates a needless stress on the fear of getting charged for something I did not do. Other than this detail, the experience was fantastic, the app worked well and made this rental easy enough. I will not hesitate the next time to do it again at this locationnicolas A.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had to buy a new wiper on the way. I had a receipt to get reimbursed for. They stated that they had never had to do that and were not sure how. But they made a phone call and were able to reimburse me and I was on my way. Thanks for the help. Would not hesitate to rent from them.Loren H.

My main complaint relate not to this location in particular, but to the fact that a) U Haul at the last minute changed my rental pick-up location to one that was not convenient, and b) provided inaccurate information about the size of the truck I was renting. I was assured by U Haul's customer service personnel that a 15-foot truck had a flat bed of 15 feet (which I needed because I was moving something that was 14 feel long and needed to lie flat). Unfortunately, upon arrival at the pickup location, I found the 15 foot truck actually has only 12.5 feet of flat bed space. I had arrived by train, so had no choice but to take the 12.5 foot truck that I couldn't use, and drive it to another U Haul location where I could switch it for a longer truck. I was then charged hundreds of dollars more for two separate rentals, when all I was trying to do was rent a truck that was long enough. Then, to add insult to injury, I had to waste time on U Haul's overly complicated check-in process which required I create an online U Haul account, receive and respond to a series of text messages, all while standing at the U Haul, essentially outsourcing to me the work of the U Haul staff.LINDAI Z.

Very. very unfriendly people. Desire was helpful when I returned the truck but the manager was rude and mostly wrong. Did not explain the process and mostly talked about threats about what would happen if I did not do exacting what she said.RICHARD R.
While the vehicle was clean, someone helping me that day asked, "How old is this truck?" The windows were not electric. We could not find the controls for the side mirrors (and my friends are schoolbus drivers; they know side mirrors). There was no ramp, which we all thought was standard equipment on UHaul trucks. Your company does not seem to put its customers first. Just your policy's seem to take precedent over customer satisfaction. And I was also charged for not folding blankets. Where does it say blankets must be folded upon return? In summary l, I was at 2 locations in Bridgeport CT today and both times I was appalled at the lack of respect and utter complacency of your employees. There were 3 people working inside. I kept having an issue try to check out the vehicle on my phone. So I had to plead with them to help me. The site kept saying it was unable to process and the employees just said, "well sorry you need to use the website anyway." After 20 minutes someone finally helped me but it really ate into my reservation too. Extremely frusturating.MATTHEW D.

I went there on a Saturday to pick up my rental only one person behind the counter. When I returned the truck one guy was outside cleaning the return vehicles. I had an issue with my return went inside again one person behind the counter dealing with a customer that was not cooperative waited 30 to 40 minutes to fix a problem that took the person behind the counter 5 minutes to fix my issue. Not to mention 2 other people were waiting to get taken care of. How can you have one person behind the counter on a busy Saturday not to mention this time of year kids are going back to college & are renting trucks to take their stuff!Terrible customer service although the person behind the counter was very nice but shame on you to put her to care the volume of people all alone. I felt badly for her. She is going to be taking the wrath of people that have to wait to be taken care of because you don't hire anyone to help herDONNA D.
