The service was fine but the trailer was the most God awful experience ever. It bounced all over the road even with it fully loaded and kept sounding like it was going to come off the ball or rip my hitch off even though the ball was tight.Victoria D.

When the area company states a truck will be available at a particular location it NEEDS to BE AVAILABLE! The Location didn't have the truck the area company stated would be there or a truck for the length of time needed. Beechmont folks were able to find us a larger truck for the time needed. It took him 20min to find something. He worked hard at filling our truck needs.Margaret R.

Speed of service was slow and employees were not easily accessible in the building. Poor online booking system. We had a 15' truck rented in advance and U-Haul only called less than 24 hours before our reservation to tell us their online system is not accurate and they did not have a truck available after having online confirmation for over a week.Daniel M.

My original reservation was at the Historic Milford location. When I arrived at the Milford location I was informed that the truck I reserved had a dead battery. They should have called me before I drove there. I do appreciate the fact they were able to locate another 26ft truck for me . However, because the truck that was available was an additional 15 miles away from my house. So I had to pay an additional 30 miles for my rental.KIMBERLY B.
The only thing I would say was- the interior at the dash had a spill on it that was sticky and not cleaned off. Other than that, everything was clean and worked great! EdEdmund K.

Your reservation process is a sham. I reserved a truck 4-weeks in advance, didn't get a call until 9:00PM the night before changing the pick up location to 3 hours away. You need to get control of the reservation process before losing business. This pick up location was extraordinarily polite and helpful. Their quality of service is masking your reservation management incompetency.Jack B.

The truck had clear engine problems and we could have broken down on the highway. We took it back after we were finished and the man that checked us in said "yes I know it needs fixed"??? He didn't appear too care. You need to make sure to address all problems and fix your trucks. This could have left us in a bad situation. We didn't think we would make it back.Heidi S.

I rented a Uhaul my battery died while I was getting gas and I was stranded for over two hours I HIGHLY recommend they test the batteries because this was by far the worst experience I have ever had! I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again. Highly dissatisfied!!Alycia C.
I will NEVER use Uhaul again. I was disrespected and treated rudely by the "customer service rep" that was suppose to help me.Long story short.. was my first time ever renting or driving with a trailer. I was already a bit nervous and was going to be hauling my motorcycle a long distance. After they hooked my trailer up and I left the lot, I heard super loud noises. Feeling concerned I returned 3 times and each time they told me it was just the chain dragging (which it wasn't) I asked the guy if he would please drive up the road to hear what I was hearing and he said no. I told him that I was concerned for my safety and the safety of others if there was a problem with the trailer. He didn't even acknowledge me. I had just paid $400 at Uhaul for my hitch and another $300 for the rental. I would expect that customer safety would be a concern of your customer service reps. I will be writing bad reviews on Google, etc... The manager on duty that day was Steve Torbeck. He did nothing to help either.Sean M.

Person on phone did not explain the rental differences when first setting up rental, cost a whole lot more than what I was quoted.. when picking up rental was met with very rude service. Will not deal with that location ever again.James T.

Your agent was not having a good day it seems. He was rude and discourteous yet did his job. His investment seemed nearly zero upon my arrival. I nearly walked away and went elsewhere. I felt he was struggling so I simply complied. Upon my return I noticed a far mor positive spirit of investment with two female customers ahead of me. So it seems he has what it takes but May have been experiencing challenges before I arrived originally. Glad he bounced back.Henry L.

Uhaul in general treated us like garbage. Our "promised" ready time was not met and the beechmont location was the third location we had to go to just to get our van. Once we arrived to pick up our van (3hrs after or promised time) they did not have the dolly that we wanted to rent but we sure were charged for it. When I ordered online I added the insurance to the price but when I arrived at the location they added it on again. When I tried to call and get this resolved I was put on hold and then eventually hung up on. Google reviews and any other social media site will be hearing about this soonCHRISTOPHER H.

The whole thing was just a disaster no one knew what the other one had done. I had to call u haul 4 different times it took me more than 3hrs to be able to talk to a supervisor. I'm 63 yrs old I have never had a problem that was like this one. So no I would not recommend U-Haul .For all the hell you put me through l should receive some of my money back if not all of it.No thank you.Michael L.

I don't want to rate the locations.. I want to rate UHAUL as a company. I give UHAUL zero stars. Your one job is to provide us with a truck rental which I specifically called to make sure would be available and sure enough we went to our pick up location and NO TRUCK. Had to drive basically an hour to this location throwing our whole schedule off. We will never ever use uhaul again.Scott M.

The doors often did not work or worked without needing a pass card...letting anyone in. We received two free mos for two trucks we rented. The 2nd month we were told only a very small unit was available. We rented large trucks and were supposed to receive comparable size storage. There actually was more than one large unit available. We had a unit here for at least a couple years. It was clean and climate controlled. We never had any problems. Steve showed me how to obtain access at least three times because I simply forgot after months had passed without accessing it. Every time, he was courteous and professional. I would so recommend this particular UHaul because it was everything that I could ask for in a storage unit. For the last five months I had to use one of the climate controlled spaces in between moves. When I closed out the space and unpacked my things, it was as though I had stored them in my home.
