A 6x12 trailer reserved weeks in advance and confirmed the day prior to pick up, as available was NOT available. Nor would it be for at least two weeks. So, why was it promised? I don't expect a rental truck to be extremely clean, and based on previous U-HAUL rental trucks, this vehicle was quite dirty inside, had many stains, and both doors were coated with what looked like multiple liquid spill streaks all down/across their surface. It was bad enough that we did additional vacuuming and sanitizing wipe down of the entire inside. Also, there were a lot of scratches/dings/dents that were not tagged with the "X" stickers, so I had to add a lot of 'dispute' pictures at the time of pickup. To the point that the system would no longer allow me to add any additional. I may have been over cautious, but I was basing them off of other marks that WERE tagged with the "X" stickers.Howard A.

Do not offer 1000 mile trip rental for a truck that does not have cruise control. Not only that, but needs a TPMS sensor replaced. Overall disappointed in my uhaul experience after driving 1000 miles with no cruise control and a vehicle that hits a limiter at 75. DisappointedLOGAN R.

I want some kind of compensation. They gave me a broke truck that when u applied parking brake it wouldn't release literally not even half a mile from store .made me wait on phone for assistance for two hours before I finally went to uahaul online to get roadside assistance that took another hour so I was only able to make one trip.Rusty G.

On turning in the truck they were unable to view any of my information from doing mobile checkout of the truck. They could see my odometer and cleanliness verification but not the other required screens. Rather than trying to trouble shoot the issue they blamed me for the damage and decided to submit an insurance claim for it. They also used the wrong reservation before someone else corrected them. Additionally I had to leave to gas up the truck will $10, 2 gallons of gas because they said it wasn't touching the arrow. The location was uninterested in helping or solving obviously wrong issues and instead watched as I tried to figure things out myself.Jordan E.

Without any notification my return location was changed to a place about 15 miles away. I called and was transferred 4 times to get this fixed. Finally a young lady did make the change to the original return location on my contract. I was 3 miles over the allowable mileage returning to The contract location. I would have 20 miles over if I had to return to the other location. Two lessons here UHAUL. If you change some thing let the customer know. Wouldn't be an issue with notification. If you change return locations make sure there is no additional charge to the customer. Probably not an issue for most to return the truck where needed but we shouldn't have to pay to help you.Don H.

Have used location and same equipment for years always a great experience. Although the new hires in past couple weeks lack attention, they are not observant of there surroundings and are downright scary hooking up trailers, they could do with some extra supervision, but other then that Mrs wanda runs an excellent shipRyan E.
Our original pickup location was U-Haul at Barksale, 3100 Barksdale Blvd, Bossier City, LA 71112, however, the equipment we had reserved was not available at that location. No mention was made of the $50.00 we were supposed to receive if the equipment was not there. Since we had been waiting ~20 minutes before we saw an employee, we were now in a rush to drive to the location that did have the equipment we reserved, so we didn't push the issue. We were very displeased with the U-Haul at Barksdale location.Shawn B.

Don't call the customer the day before and tell them you will not have a truck for two days. Rental of 26' reserved several weeks before, confirmed Monday before rental in person. And then comes phone call. Also, no dollys were available even though two were reserved.JOE H.

The customer service was short and not very clear about expectations. The rates are extremely high! Had a 10-ft truck to move from one end of town to the other, and used it for 4 hours. Was only allowed 30 miles of travel before I had to pay for mileage. You see signs on the side of these trucks, that say you can rent them for as little as 19.99 a day locally. My rental was more than $100. The lady that checked us out was grumpy and seemed a little mean.Russell D.

This location was great, but my reservation was for the location at 3100 barksdale blvd and the experience was terrible. I waited for 30 minutes while nobody would help me, then the manager finally asked me what I needed and I showed him my online reservation (contactless) and he informed me he'd rented my truck to someone else earlier that morning. That's when he sent me to a different location. The entire fiasco ended up setting my move back by almost 2 hours. Yet when I returned the truck 5 minutes late from my original drop off time, I was definitely charged a fee.tracy W.

I wish I could leave a review for the 3100 Barksdale Blvd location. We were originally supposed to drop the car transport there. After driving several days and thousands of miles we got there about 30 mins before closing. We were told that they didn't have room and we needed to go down the street (though they CLEARLY had the room). The man was extremely rude and unfriendly. We got to the 4100 Barksdale location with minutes to spare and the guy that helped us was wonderful! He was busy with another customer yet took the time to help us. He also made sure to update the drop-off information so we wouldn't be charged. Our experience at this location was the complete opposite of where we were supposed to drop off. ¡Gracias!Nathan R.

The older lady that works here is rude. We had an issue when we went and paid because she didn't log in her computer, she handed my husband a receipt showing we had paid when in fact it wasn't paid. Didn't know that until later when I received an invoice saying that we owed money still. She very rude about the whole situation and tried to blame us for this issue. I have closed out our storage unit and will not be back here and I do not recommend this office!
