Truck needs an alignment. Steering wheel was pulling (hard) to the left the entire drive. Tow dolly was rusted and difficult to use. Documented incorrect drop off location and did not dispatch dolly until the day after, as well as dispatching the wrong one. Didn't document graffiti on passanger side of truck.Kamau P.

This location was not where I wanted to pick it up. I was forced to use this location, My fist requested location had all kinds of 26' trucks sitting there when I drove by it, The people at the location seemed like they were annoyed when asking questions about the truck and took forever to complete the process for renting. The truck windshield was dirty om the inside which made it difficult to see when driving after dark! Worker brought the truck to me with the radio blasting hip hop music, worker was asked about items being checked on the truck and just walked away from me ignoring my questions. I was the only customer and was picking up a trailer and was there for 45 minutes. Totally unacceptable I had my six-year-old granddaughter in the car with my wife and had to leave my car running the whole time so they could stay cool. This was the 2nd time we used this location. We were very impressed the first time but not so this time. When I walked in, John was at the front desk and the other guy was assisting a customer. John never said hi or offered to assist. The other employee became free to help me and was very helpful. While working with him a lady came out to help at the front desk. An older gentleman came in, very poor greeting was given, â€œwhat can I help you withâ€, no hi or anything. The man ordered boxes and no offer to assist him was made. They finally gave him a cart to bring his boxes out. It appears the employees park out front close to the front door causing customers to park further away. This older gentleman had to struggle getting the cart past the cars out to his car. We had 3 guys hitch the trailer to our vehicle. I am accustomed to hitching trailers and stepped out to watch. I am towing it and wanted to feel secure in the hitch up they did. Before they got it hitched I was told to get into the vehicle and hit the breaks and turn on the turn signals. They had not finished hooking up yet at that point. They finished and told me I could leave. It was not until I got to my destination that I received a text about the vehicle. No one told me I would receive this text to check the vehicle before I left. When we returned the trailer we pulled up behind a truck being returned. We were asked to pull around and another guy came out to take our trailer off. He never greeted us, just did something on his phone and began to unhitch the trailer. When done, he came to the window and said, â€œnext time turn off your car, it is too hot to unhitch with the car onâ€. We had never been told to turn off the car on our previous rentals and if he had greeted us he could have asked us to turn the vehicle off. We felt he was rather rude. We have towed 35ft trailers behind a Ford F-250 and never felt a need to turn off the truck to hitch or unhitch. We just did not stand where the muffler was. We use the location rather than the location closer to the 101 as we are assisting my parents with moving furniture. They live in Sun City. This location is further from their house but we were so impressed the first time we decided to continue to use this location. Hopefully today was just an off day for everyone there.CHRISTINA G.

I had an awful experience with first employee. I was immediately told he was charging me a cleaning fee. I thought he was joking. He said no. What for he said rope. I said oh, I'll get it out. He said nope I'm charging you a cleaning fee. I got upset and he returned fire. Profanity was used. Very unprofessional. I was apologized to by next employee and asked me to report him. There was only an address for drop off. This address on GPS shows a storage facility across the street and 1/2 mile away. The location was very large and nice. I followed the well marked turn in signs. Parks under a cover. Signs stated wait for staff. No one showed up. I started walking towards the office and met 2 men standing in the shop. I stated the conversation hello. They looked at me and asked of I was there to turn in a trailer. Yes, I replied then they made their way towards my vehicle to inspect the trailer. The manager was great, staff failed to see in the notes that I had a trailer reserved, trailer number was put in the notes and it was ignored. I wanted a barn door trailer instead if the roll up door. I had to point this out and got some push back. The party finally hitched up the trailer I requested and got the paper work changed. I have had the storage unit for about 3 years. I did not just move in. i have had automatic payments set up for several years. My last payment was not automatically taken out, so I received a late notice with a late payment fee added. I called and the late payment fee was taken off but this should not have happened at all. We have several uboxes stored there, each picked up at different times but when I picked up some I felt like I was a burden. Then my wife reserved a 10x10x8 storage unit several days in advance and yesterday when I arrived I came to find out there were none available of what was reserved. I had no choice but to take a bigger one. Nothing was done for the inconvenience of not having the size we purposely reserved and I had to pay for the upgrade I didn't reserve or need. The GM John was excellent help. I had to deal with 3 different UHaul location to pick up the truck at one, pick up the car transport At another and now the storage units. I was very disappointed with the first 2 locations who were very unorganized and made it a hassle. Johns location was A night and day experience. Over all a great experience. The reason for below average rating is that no one at the facility showed us how to access facility after hours. No one let us know that there are two entrances. Main one in the front of building and the after hours access in back of the building. Showed up to move daughter's college dorm items at 8:00pm and could not access building. Had to call u-haul customer service who had to track down after hours manager who then explained how to access building afterhours. After wasting over an hour, we then had to actually run to load everything into unit before 10pm after access hours stopped. Spoke to another custmer there at the same time and they explained same thing happened to them as well. Except for this issue, I would have provided a 5 star rating.
