The customer service I experienced was great! The only thing that wasn't on par was the process for returning my rental truck. The online checkout didn't work properly and wasn't very user friendly.

Made my reservation for a 10ft truck and tow dolly for my car. Tow dolly wasnt available when i went to pick it up. Waited almost an hour before they found one that i had to go get from a different location and come back so they can load my car. When i got to my destination i had to unload my car by myself because i was told "that is our policy" "other location shouldn't had helped you with any of that" very disappointed in the service although Alex Smith was helpful throughout i was very inconvinenced. I wasnt offered any type of resolution. Had to use more gas to travel 40 miles roundtrip just to get the TF that i had reserved prior. I wouldve like some sprt of discount or even a bottle of water under this Az sun. But no. Nothing. Paid full price. Never complained once. Picked up truck at 9am. Loaded came back 1.5hrs later for TD didnt hit the road til 130pm. Shouldve been halfway tonmu destination by that time.

This was not quite the experience I expected. I drove all the way across Phoenix to pick up the only car auto transport available (I called the days prior asking to move locations only to be told nothing was available). Once I get there, I’m greeted with, “I’m sorry, the item you are coming to pick up wasn’t returned, let me see where another is available.” Low and behold, there is one available, just down the street from the hotel I was staying at. I’m told they will give me a “hefty” discount for my trouble. I drive all the way back across Phoenix, only to be laughed at when I tell them the story. They give me $50 off, didn’t even pay for all the gas I wasted driving all over Phoenix, much less the 2 hours it put me behind on my drive. The auto transport I picked up was so beat up, I was worried about whether or not it would stay together for the 2000+ mile trip I had ahead of me.

I rented a Trailer, after seeing Customer service. The Designated Area to Park for Trailer hook-up was not Clear. only A Line for Equipment Return. No signs indicating where to Pull up for Service for Trailer hook-up.. I had to ask a Customer then pulled into the Garage to ask an Employee. I informed Him I have papers to rent a 5"9 trailer Employee- Told me they didnt Have 5"9 trailers.. So I showed him the papers. He replied with " Oh! ok we have those " That's my experience with this Location. Overall UHAUL IS GREAT & Convenient . ALSO Please make MOTORCYCLE TRAILERS available for Cross State.

It was a bit unsettling, that a week after I dropped off the trailer I got an email that said I had not dropped off the equipment and also received a call from U-Haul reservations asking me where I dropped off the trailer. That seems like a major breakdown in your reservation system.

The van seating area was very dusty, the tire light was on from the start through the rental. The staff, however, were great.

Never use One Move again. The movers didn’t pack my truck properly and my $2500 mattress (that is now filthy because they didn’t take care when moving it) fell on some other item and it cut deep scratches into my 2 month old wood dinette set. My 60 inch TV set may also be ruined. One mover asked that instead of a financial tip if I could give him some of my medical cannabis and asked me out. I am a single, older woman and I live alone. He has my cell number and knows where I live. I was living about all of this but held it in because I’m vulnerable. No woman should be in this position, ever.

The customer service was the worst I’ve even had from a U-Haul in my 12 years of using them. They had 3 people at the desk and 4 people in line and could only help one person. When I returned the truck had to wait 30 minutes then finally set the keys down and left.

This store needs more employees to more effectively serve the incoming traffic. Two employees on duty one preparing the rental contracts and the other serving the lot needs. they should have at least four employees on duty at any time during peak hours of 7am to 4pm.

First off there was one poor guy working the counter, the line was out the door. He was super friendly and helpful though, but the overall experience was a nightmare. I’ve received several calls each day about equipment I’ve already picked up and turned in. There were issues with picking up the auto transport and it wasted a large amount of time. The process of super difficult and if it was for the guy I would have made a formal complaint. The gentlemen was awesome thank you!

Double-check the equipment vs. the order. My only (minor) complaint was that I asked for an appliance and a utility dolly and only got one... not both. Still had a great experience, and the ability to check-in/check-out online was painless.

I read a lot of bad reviews but I had rented a truck from here in the past. My experience was great. The staff were all awesome. I was late bringing my truck back (2 days), and they were still very nice and professional. Don't be misled by bad reviews.

My brother and I had reserved a 15' truck for two days, Sat and Sun. When we arrived, the person at the front desk asked if we needed it for two days. We said we think we do but we're not 100% sure but we definitely needed for a whole day. He then replied "okay because there are families on a waiting list to use the trucks so you know if you can turn it in early that would be great." He then tried to back pedal his statement by saying that we are free to keep it the two days. This was incredibly frustrating and disrespectful to me as he didn't know what size family we were or how much we were moving. We are a family of 4 moving out of a 4 bedroom house. So I'm not quite sure what he meant by indicating that other families needed the truck. We reserved ours ahead of time and I am sorry that other people need the truck but we got it first. I really hope race didn't play a part in his comment as I'm not quite sure what type of families he was referring to. Please let me know what types/sizes of families are warranted the bigger trucks and which ones aren't in the future. Thank you.

I had my truck reserved for pickup at 8;30 I got there five minutes early and had to wait 15 minutes. The guy said someone called in and he was the only one working the counter. Not good customer service as fast as I am concerned. I made a reservation so I would not have to wait.

I rented the truck. gave an estimation of miles and my estimated cost was just over $40 and when I returned the truck I was told that I drove 177 miles which was completely false but it's because the truck had did not have its miles registered in the system from the last time it was turned in. The service agent graciously didn't charge me for the whole 177 miles that I didn't drive but I was still charged $70 which was just an arbitrary number used to justify me paying. Overall I found this to be very unorganized and unprofessional and expected better from uhaul.

It was horrible , I was told that I was goind to rent a vehecle for 19.95 a day @ 69. cent a mile. Instead they rented me a box truck for 19.95 a day @ 99. Cent a mile . And i pointed out to them the discrepancy the agent said " it would be ninety before it could be fixed on credit card " the agent on the phone said " clearly that I would get a regular truck for 19.95 and 69 cent a mile

Terrance at this location was great. He was inviting and very funny. This location did not have the tow dolly we needed for our car when we needed it. I'm not sure if it was a miscommunication with customer service or something wasn't put in correctly, but this location not having the correct equipment pushed our departure time back about 3 hours alone.

It would be very helpful if you offered a class, other than the video, on how to hitch up and unhitch the trailer! It was such a drag, having to tow the trailer every place I needed to go! Especially difficult having to tow it before my actual time to leave, as well as while in route and at a hotel! It would have been much easier to just unhitch it, lock it and go, but it is what it is! Thank you so much. It was just a suggestion.

I reserved at 17-foot truck but was given a 15-foot truck. We had to make two trips instead of one and the move took longer than expected because of it. Still, we were charged an extra $20 because we got the truck back 20 minutes later than planned. The truck was also filled with water when we picked it up.

There was no one in line I was the only customer it took an hour for them to get me the truck 1st they gave me a truck that was buried behind the others treated me like I had a problem. The tall black woman that checked me out she was rude deliberately said things that was unnecessary to say about the process taking longer time then assigned me a truck that was buried behind others. When I went back in a young black man helped me who was very professional and tried to resolve the problem as quick as possible his initials are I believe AB.. The truck had so much cleaning chemicals in the cab I could hardly breathe dents all over the truck very nerve wracking. The general manager with the red beard that was on the floor had debris scattered everywhere In the lobby almost tripped on it he never once did anything to help resolve the problem. I've seen the story go up-and-down over the last 25 years looks like it's going down again very disappointed in the height of arrogance in the general manager and the tall African American woman That made sure it took an hour when there was no other customers.

Very horrible experience with the employees at that location very rude and wanted us to check everything ourself when we returned the truck. And didnt even check the truck in properly. We didnt get a printed receipt as requested. All check in process was done incorrectly will never recommend this location or even use them again.

I went into the store on Friday to book the truck from 8am to 5 pm On Saturday and your staff member said everything was set up. When I came To pick it up they told me it had to be back at 4pm and they could not help in any way to let me return it at 5pm. So I had to stress the hole time to get it back by 4pm. I could have done one mere trip if I would have had that extra hour I was promised when I booked on Friday. Big disappointment. Henrik

My pick up was changed 3 times so I got a little confused about where I was supposed to pick up my truck. I don’t know if that was my mistake or U-Haul’s. I confirmed it over the phone when I called in to customer service to change the appointment time but the rep was talking over me so there was a miscommunication. I made my reservation. A few days before the rental someone called and told me the location of the trailer had changed. I went to the new location. It was closed and no one was there. I called UHAUL and was told I would be given $50 back and to go to another location. I went there. They forgot to put in the packing pads I had requested and didnt change my return time so I had to change my schedule to get the trailer back three hours earlier than planned. Im not so sure you want me giving you referrals at this time
