The facility rented my unit, I prescheduled. They in turn gave me 2 closet size units and I had to add a 3rd one. My $1500 bed wouldnt even fit in the door of the unit. They basically said oh well after the Uhaul call center called them. They even had the nerve to tell me to go to another storage company after I paid just about $1000 for a one way rental. Then the unit was so small my 55 inch TV cracked and they basically said oh well and to file a claim. Insane after driving about 800 miles. Unfortunately, the experience was not anything to brag about... I made a reservation three weeks in advance, When I want to pick up the confirmed truck rental, I was sent to another uhaul facility to find out they did not have a truck for me. 5 hours later to receive a call after I rented a storage space in ANOTHER FACILITY>> Sadly, because my lease was up and all options were depleted. I would like to express that the situation in full (from trying to reach a live person for 5 hours ~ to a flat tire 1 hour after I drove out of the uhaul facility); I had witnessed uhaul employees walk off the job... to being laughed at bcuz i had to crawl out of my car window bcuz an employee didn't know what to do once my car was driven up on a auto transport tailor.... I did contact the General Manager who promised a $500 refund and now 4 days later ~ no refund ~ has been allocated to my account. I do feel a lot of these matters could have been prevented with proper training and followup.Tamara W.

Have a professional staff on hand to properly handle the business at hand. I had a truck reserved but it was not available when we arrived. Our appointment was cancelled, without knowledge because of their misrepresentation of time of an appointment we were not aware of. The time was blamed on Corporate Office by, Andrew. This was a horrible, and expensive experience. I had to go to two different locations to finally get vehicle and trailer requested. Just NOT professional at all. Not all staff is unfriendly but more not than are. The elevator recently has become a huge issue. Had to reset it 5 time one day while was trying to move stuff out. And we were not holding the doors open or doing anything strange with the elevator. 1 elevator for that entire facility seems like a issue. And just the wait time in the lobby for someone to help. Several little things just added up to a no recommendation. No ones on the same page with info. Such as a card not working. Was told oh thats fine don't worry about it it's not a problem just go in. You won't be fined for the alarm. Next time I came in asked someone else. And they fixed the card. So the other lady didn't want to deal with it. The security feature I liked. The site had been vandalized by people who damaged most of the available vehicles. The only operating truck was also damaged and over the size that I actually needed. To whom it may concern, I would like to dispute the extras charges of $56.47 and $36.47. I rented a truck yesterday to help facilitate my move. When I received the truck, there were food containers stuck behind the seat; I am assuming that is why I was charged a cleaning fee. I followed the contract and swept the back of the truck out before returning it to the store location in Eagles Landing. It is unfortunate that I would be charged for some else's mess. Also, the truck broke down on me and would not start. I even had to call the help center to begin the process of sending roadside assistance to my location. Eventually, the vehicle did start while on the phone with the help center. However, my seven year old son was stuck in the heat for the entire time that I am attempting to get the vehicle started. I broke down at a gas station while making sure the truck was returned with the amount of gas reflected on the contract. As a customer, I am appalled at the situation. It is disheartening and seems as though Uhaul is a company that does not prioritize the customers' experience. I would hope that the charges would be removed from my account. I have paid the $101 and that is fair. The other charges occurred are inappropriate. I hope this is resolved swiftly. Thank your for your time and consideration.SIMONE H.

The 6x12 trailer and an alternate both had flat tires and the staff was not qualified to change it. Which delayed me almost 2 hours because I had a set pick-up time and since I was not there on time I was pushed to the end which cost me an additional $180.00 in Labor charges from M&B which I purchase through U-Haul system. I know to get reimbursed for the $180 is like getting Blood from a Rock but I feel I should be refunded the $91.92 I was charged for U-Haul failure to maintain equip ready for rental.JOHN P.

Furniture but after I rented I found out that the offer I made on a house went through and no longer needed my rental and when I called I was not only given the chance to turn in my space but all my money was refunded. My initial experience was not good because my unit wasn't available at the location I requested on line. The staff was not forthcoming with information and it took a long time and my questions on the delay for them to tell me what was going on. I was very upset because my movers were at the bay waiting to unload . The staff members tried to send me to other locations instead of trying to resolve the issue that was created by uhaul. I had to insist that they give me 2 units, which also took another 30 minutes to resolve. Employees are rude and not helpful. They argue and charge more than they say they will. They also put us in a storage room that was about a mile inside the building. I made my reservation online and when I got there to check in it took 15 minutes for them to tell me that the space I reserved was not available. They recommend I go to another location after about 30 minutes. My movers were waiting and I didn't think I should have to be the one to suffer when the screw up was U-Haul's. I asked for a smaller second unit close to each other and it took them forever to figure it out while I sat and wait with no form of communication to update me on the lengthy process. It was a terrible experience which cost me to pay my moving company extra for the delay. This was my first time using this company and I promise it will be the last. After completing the rental of the storage unit, I was asked if I was going to utilize the unit the same day I rented, 24 JAN, I told her Yes. Around 840p, I drove my u-haul to the storage to unload, to find that the lock was still on the unit I reserved after hours. I added an unnecessary 20 miles to my total mileage, lost time loading and unloading more of my belongings, more gas because of the wasted trip, all while adding the mileage.
