The person upfront did a very good job. I need to buy a special hitch and ball to pull my trailer which required some work by someone in the back. She told me that he would only do it if I gave him a cash tip. Who carries cash on them nowadays. I told the guy that if he really need a tip I would go to the bank but he still refused to do it. I had no choice but to purchase another hitch to pull the trailer I rented.Michael P.

We did mobile pickup and drop off (which we have done at a previous Uhaul location before). It took the staff member 15min to locate keys for our truck as another staff member went home with the keys in their pocket. The truck we rented had the windows left open and it was pouring rain, so the inside cabin was soaking wet. We used our moving blankets to dry everything off so we could use the truck (there was a puddle in the driver's seat). When we dropped off the truck, we followed the mobile instructions for where to park the truck and it said to leave the key in the key box. We walked around the entire building and there was no box to be found. There were no staff members inside to help us. We then found some staff members cleaning another truck and asked where the key box was or if they could take the keys. They were extremely rude and refused to take the keys and said we needed to drive our truck to them and they would do the return. We explained that we had followed the mobile return and it was already complete and we needed to just return our keys. They refused to help and continued to say we needed to drive the truck to them. Staff members should be trained for the mobile drop off procedures as well as how to deliver proper customer service. Or, the mobile instructions should be updated to reflect the requests of the staff members. We were quite disappointed in the pickup and drop off of our truck at this location and would not recommend them. We have used Uhaul several times and have never had an issue with customer service or pickup/drop off. We hope that this will be addressed for further clients.Chelsea B.

the steering wheel was not in the axis of the wheels and it was hard to maneuver. When going straight line the wheel was 3/4 turned as if I was turning lats rental I had breaks issues. You trucks are not maintained properly to be safe .Sportes I.

Busy morning for me as it turns out and I had forgotten my face mask. The early morning clerk graciously went to HIS car and GAVE me one! Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled because my day time-wise would of been ruined. Upon my return, another gentleman who inspected the truck and wrote the final bill, was equally professional and courteous. I had questions & comments about certain trucks, insurance etc. He took the TIME to chat and was enthusiastic, informative, and kind. I really enjoy going to the U-Haul de MontrÃ©al-Ouest--the 10 foot truck is a joy to ride, always clean and the customer service there is superb, Thank you! *side note for future reference & safety* U-HAUL Corporation must invest into putting WINTER tires on all they're merchandise. Why? Quebec winters on the road aren't easily navigated on four season tires in ice & snow!VERONIQUE R.

Deux jours avant la date prÃ©vue, j'ai reÃ§u un appel me proposant de prendre la voiture Ã un autre endroit (non loin du prÃ©cÃ©dent) et de la rendre au mÃªme endroit. Bien que le voyage ait eu lieu de Moneral Ã la Rive Sud, ce qui reprÃ©sente 20 km supplÃ©mentaires sur la route. On m'a donc proposÃ© un lieu de remplacement et promis une remise. Ils ont promis de ne pas compter le kilomÃ©trage sur le chemin du retour. En consÃ©quence, aucune remise ne m'a Ã©tÃ© accordÃ©e et mes lettres sont restÃ©es sans rÃ©ponse. Bien que j'aie demandÃ© une rÃ©ponse Ã©crite par courriel, car la commande a Ã©tÃ© passÃ©e au nom de mon mari et son numÃ©ro de tÃ©lÃ©phone a Ã©tÃ© indiquÃ©, et il ne parle pas franÃ§ais. Evaluation based upon procedure and not upon the service. Service was excellent. Rental Process is cumbersome and too long especially if one's movers are waiting for the registration to be completed since the movers are being paid by the hour.
