The trailer insurance package I had previously selected online had to be changed at the Gatineau pick-up location because I was renting from Quebec province where insurance regulations are different. It would be helpful if the U-Haul website could recognize rentals beginning in Quebec and offer appropriate online insurances packages suitable for that province at the time of making an online reservation.David W.

The survey didnt work properly. On the gaz page, I couldnt approved the status on the app because I needed to add Ã picture. Then I added Ã picture, and the same message showed up. Trailer had mud all over and wiring harness was broken. Somebody tried to fix it by simply taping the two broken wires together. Had to splice the wires properly as the wires separated when I got to my destination.MATHEWM S.

I called the day before picking up the trailer to check if a ball of 1 7/8 was ok and the confirmed it was ok. After picking up the trailer it was kicking like crazy. We stopped at another U-Haul location in Ottawa and the did loan one to us. We lost 1 hour in our schedule to pick up items at different location. This could have been addressed when we picked up the trailor. I was desappointed when they did not offer me a compensationElaine D.

The staff handling the pick-up were in training, I think. It took longer than I expected. When I returned the truck, a very nice and efficient woman handled everything and provided the credit I was expecting for reduced distance. Overall, I would return to that location. The truck was in very good condition, the gas was just under the 1/4 line and most of the pictures they had on their link of the vehicle prior to me renting did not correspond to the actual vehicle appearance when I received it. There were a couple of serious dings and scratches that weren't on their pictures making me question how long ago the pictures were taken. Finally, I was charged for 30km when in fact I only did 12kms. This was only my second time renting from U-Haul and this experience was completely the opposite from the first time.shaun P.

An hour long wait to pick up the truckâ€¦.unacceptable. Watching other people in the same situation, people being called 24 hrs before to advise they didn't have a truck for them despite a reservationâ€¦.unacceptable. Then to be told that the time due back was the absolute latest the truck could come back was insulting. They made me lose out on an hour of usage yet were adamant about the time it was due back. I can understand things happen, but there was absolutely no understanding on their part.Howard A.
