Your website switched me from nearby slaughter lane to 40th and I 35 about 14 miles away with no explanation. Finally after a 15 mins hold the young staffer explained that they were out of those trailers at slaughter regardless of what the website said At pickup the young man failed to mask up after wing requested to do so and seemed incredulous when I explained that I wouldn't go into the office because of Covid in and I asked him to get the paperwork and bring it out. I thought I had filled the paperwork out on line and shouldn't need to in any case When I returned the trailer to the store I was directed to go to the drop off lane only to be told when I got there that it was for trucks only and to please take the Trailer back to the other side of the store. There were so many trucks that there was no way to get through the lot and so it took 15 mins to drive around through the neighborhood to get back to the front of the store. To drop off the trailer Your staff were all nice and pleasant but the process was a mess Next time I'll rent from Home Depotthomas S.

We went to pick up our vehicle and got the vehicle we requested was not the one that was available. Instead we got a different size and had no choice but to take it because the correct size we requested magically was not on the lot. They could have contacted us or disclosed this earlier. After giving us the wrong vehicle they almost charged us the upper price until I caught it and requested it to be changed (they did change the price). A hassle that could have been avoided with communication. The driver and passenger part of the uhaul was dirty too.Jahangir A.

Was moved to this location after I had already arrived at my original pickup location. I checked in before heading out and the check in information said one location but when I arrived, the truck they had was already reserved for someone else. The customer service rep I spoke to was very rude and refused to see how frustrating it was and to credit me for the extra mileage I would have to put on the truck. She hung up on me, also, because I was being "combative" for requesting a credit on the additional miles. VERY bad experience. No one will read this anyway, so this is probably pointless. Awful experience. I was told I was going to be charged (at max) $150 and was charged $375. There are so many hidden fees and on top of that - when we tried to take the uhaul in, they closed early and charged me for another day. DO NOT GO HERE!ALEX W.
The equipment I ordered was switched for a bigger truck which caused logistical problems for me. Plus I ordered and pay for two dollies and they were not available so I had to buy a dollie. The truck I reserved was not available. I had to wait over 45 mins to get something which was way smaller then what I needed. The guy told me that my drivers license didn't look like me which caused a HUGE issue. After speaking with the manager and jumping through hoops I got a truck. My issue with U-box is that I estimated from your web site before I bought was that it would cost about $500 to ship box to Gulf Shores AL. It actually cost me more that $1700 plus I had to pay packers on both ends plus cost to sent to storage and pick up. Next week I am using a 8x8x16 PODS container. They bring container to me and pickup and the total cost is less than the Ubox. For that reason, I would not use UBOX again. May be good option for local move.Wayne W.

I rented a 10 foot truck and then realized I needed a 20 foot truck but the location did not have a 20 foot truck so they upgraded me to a 26 foot truck but didn't have the 26 foot truck so I had to take a 15 foot truck and it was all very confusing. I think this location needs better management. I've used U-Haul seven times in the last 15 years. And this was the worst U-Haul experience I've had. My passenger door flew open when I was driving down the street. it was not checked and was a jarred. I also had to go back After driving all the way to my house.and get another dolly because they forgot to to include my second one. This wasn't everything. I just feel this location really needs to be polished With better customer service help, Better attitudes and smiles. Mostly all good, no real complaints. The parking situation is kinda weird, where the hell are you suppose to park? the hwy access 'entrance' is an "exit only", when you drive around, there's still no place to park. I parked in the driveway (the girl inside said 'oh yeah, when you come back just park across the street'). So i did but 'way' back, bc there's no place over there either(bc there's another business, right across the street)(good thing it wasn't raining). So right off the bat it's like 'wtf?'. Whoever set that up, isn't good at setting things up. The entrance should be on the access road, there should be some parking spots, and the exit should be on Wilshire road. Obviously. And there should be a big sign that points clearly to the entrance so you could see it as you are approaching.MARK O.

I used the app as well as the Service personnel who keep giving me keys to trucks she couldn't find on the lot. She was rude, rushed and had an attitude which will kill your business. When I tried to check the truck back in there was no one in sight to take it in. I walked inside the garage... everywhere I shouldn't have been allowed (insurance liability for you) but it was a ghost town. Thank God your app worked and I went in the front and threw the key on the counter. There was no obvious lock box. I have used Ryder a bit and I am going back to them although their location is inconvenient. You should fire everyone in the dealer I went to and get some people who actually care about people and... dare I say... customers! PS: I am not a nut or a typical irate customer. I can put up with issues but this was truly an amazingly bad customer experience.Burnes H.
Hire a staff that has ANY sense of customer service. I was not greeted when I walked in, just stared at. There were no instructions and the employees were ALL hesitant to help. When one did I was mostly ignored and not given ANY information on what to do only handed papers amd keys and told which truck to go to. I wasn't asked to sign anything or to agree to anything OR if I had any questions. I had about 4. I was reluctant to call in the next day to pay a convenience fee to the flippant employees at this location. I also watched as they abrasively told a customer they didn't have what he was looking for only offering helpful information as the guy was leaving. The staff is uncaring... So why do they care to even show up for a job they don't care to do. I wish I had a constructive way to put this but this was a low grade experience for me and there isn't ONE single place that couldn't be MASSIVELY improved on.Cierra M.
