I recommend For uhaul to communicate with their workers better. I was ask if I wanted a discount if I dropper of in a location further than My Destination. I said no. But when I went to drop off near my destinations. They were full and had to go an extra 45 minutes to drop off to the place where I said no to. Which was 45 minutes away.PATRICIA M.

I was informed that I could drop off the truck at ANY U-Haul dealer. Took 4 attempts before one would accept the truck. A REAL BUMMER! DEALERS SHOULD BE ACCURATE IN INFORMING CUSTOMERS THAT A UNIT MUST BE RETURNED TO THE DESIGNATED DEALER.....NOT JUST THE MOST CONVENIENT TO THE CUSTOMER!! I WILL DO DUE DILIGENCE IN THE FUTURE BEFORE RENTING ANOTHER U-HAUL AND CHECK WITH OTHER RENTAL COMPANIES MORE FLEXIBILITY IN RETURNING UNITS.JAMES N.

This is a comment on the overall experience for the day. Not one location specifically. My pickup location was changed at the last minute and without any notification. So we arrived at the "wrong location." No big deal. We quickly got over it. The new location was close by. We were offered a discount if we changed drop off location also. Seems easy enough and we like discounts. But they did not provide an address, just a general location. I didn't think this would be a problem since I am familiar with the area. However, when I looked for an address we realized there are two Uhaul locations in that area. I called the local center to try and clarify. I was on hold for over 20 minutes, and their information system hadn't been updated to reflect the correct drop off location. Because of that, I was threatened with a wrong drop off location fee. I informed them of my frustration due to the change in pickup location without notification and that I absolutely would not be charged a change of location fee since I wasn't provided with a correct address and they couldn't find one themselves either. They attempted to correct me. I repeated myself and told them where they would find their truck (the address I was going to) and thanked them for their time and said good bye. This phone conversation took place minutes before closing and we were racing against the clock to make the drop off location in time. Thankfully I guessed locations correctly and I wasn't charged a wrong location drop off fee. Overall, a below average experience. Which is disappointing.Jacob S.

I was told the four pin connector on my car was not functional, so I was told I needed to buy an adapter to use the larger plug for $14. Once I got home and carefully plugged the four pin adapter in, it worked fine. Without a receipt, and the staff offering to throw away the packaging, I guess I can't return it (especially since I one-way rented and returned the trailer near my home in North Fort Myers). NOT a cool sales practice upselling like that, essentially forcing your customer to but items they don't need. Very tacky.Robert F.

The cabin smelled like cigarettes and there were burns on the seat. The cabin clearly has not been sanitized from the previous users-- there was ash on the steering column and the steering wheel smelled like oil. The arm rests were oily and the seat belt felt grimy. The storage bay was clean but it smelled like a mix between sewage water and fermented beer...and I had to put my personal belongings in there? All-around a bad experience this time. $19.99 in town is affordable, and we don't expect anything special, but it shouldn't be this gross!Shane F.
The two guys working were awful and very rude. I am pregnant and allergic to wool. I folded half of the furniture covers, I explained that 6 of them came nearly folded in a bag and the other 6 were not folded (I have pictures). I was told I had to fold the blankets. I was also told there is a fee, I did not see this fee anywhere in the terms and conditions. Horrible customer service. Horrible service. Horrible communication. Horrible experience.Keisha C.

Trailer rental was more complicated than it needs to be. Wasn't able to use the card information given online to pay, asked to use cash payment and was told to provide proof of registration (I did not have this, nor did I know I would need it, and heard another employee questioning this procedure behind the counter). Employees not wearing masks, talking about customers behind counter within earshot of customers. Trailer we rented had multiple large cracks in it.
