Horrible experience. They wouldn't let me drop off the auto transport trailer because “they didn't have room”, told me to drive to another location or return in 5 hours. Then they erroneously charged me $150 for missing equipment and $20 for after hours service when I returned the truck at 12:15 pm with all equipment. Will not recommend this location.

The installer at this location did not reinstall the muffler onto the exhaust insulators. I did not notice this failure until I got home. This is an unacceptable oversight that could have caused long term damage to my vehicle. I reinstalled the exhaust into the insulators myself as I did not want to drive the vehicle 30 minutes back with an unsecured muffler. I could not be more displeased with this service.

I walked in 5-10 minutes before closing to retrieve my key. As soon as I walked in, the man told me that the location was closed. Even when I told him I needed to get a key, he kept telling me that the location was closed. I understand that he was dealing with some stressful issues with police at the scene and some young men. However, the way he treated me and talked to me was unruly. I don't really believe he had any excuse for what he did. If I had not caught him walking out the door and asked him what I have to do to get my key, I would have never been able to rent the van. Furthermore, when I told him I needed a dolly, he just told me they were closing and rushed me out the door. I never got it and made our move more difficult.

Worst U-Haul experience of my life. I think I've rented 20 times, including several times at this location in the past few years, and this was terrible. The site manager (Michael) was RUDE and very unfriendly. He was dictating, condescending, and treating everyone as if they were wasting his time and annoying him, both employees (I feel sorry for them) and even me! The new guy that was helping me was SLOW and learning as he went, and not being effectively trained. The two vehicles I got were full of gray/white dog hair, and one was BAD, so they clearly didn't get any attention. The cup holder was full of sticky muck. There were so many dents and scratches on it they probably wouldn't have noticed if I had done something (I didn't), and the "rear door open" message on the dash wouldn't go out no matter how hard we shut the door (it was shut!). Second truck had less than 1/4 tank of gas, too. I spent 30 minutes trying to rectify the situation, as they had to cancel and START OVER when we switched vehicles from the fuzzy one. I can't say enough... this was bad enough to make me look elsewhere. I have to move in a month and I won't be coming here for trucks. Sorry.

I made a reservation on your website 2 days ahead. Morning of you called at 8:15, pick up was to be 9:30, that I had to drive 45 minutes away, to a very scary neighborhood. The doors were padlock. Called your 800 # in desperation, to be met with belligerent scheduling employee. Finally got a helpful employee who got me a van at the original corporate location, only to be treated horribly by your manager.

The truck was left with less than 1/4 of a tank when I got it, driver and passenger side looked like someone sneezed all over it. Sticky with crumbs and hair in the cup holders. Truck served its purpose, but when your in a time constraint to move and paying by the hour and you have to spend time getting gas for the first 30 mins, its extremely frustrating. Returned the truck in better condition than I got it, and put the amount of gas back in that I used. U-Haul has been a great experience in the past, but this time was different.

The van was not maintained well. The engine oil pressure low and the van started making the knocking sound. I had to cut my trip short. I could not even accelerate. Then I get a call saying they had to inquire about the van and accused me if I had hit the van with a speed bump or something.

Be friendlier and more helpful. Do not rent wrecked and damaged vehicles when you have clean brand new ones available. Or maybe I was rented the damaged vehicle and not one of the new ones because I was an African American female??? There were brand new vans there and they were still there when I returned the van within an hour and a half!

Actually clean and maintain the uhaul. Check engine light was on, no mattress pads or furniture covers were available, back didn't lock, sheets were in the shotgun sheet with a sign that said “properly of mash burn”Told someone when we dropped it off and they said someone was probably sleeping there. Couldn't adjust mirrors. Such a stressful moving experience

The owner could hardly wait until I left. Not at all customer friendly. He was anxious to be somewhere else. He was VERY impatient with me as I cleaned up the trailer and backed it into a tight spot that required a 90 degree turn at the bottom of a hill.

I chose the 24/7 pickup option so that I would not have to deal with anyone inside the U-haul store. I was unable to pickup my rental truck via the 24/7 option for some reason and was told online I could only pick it up when the store opened. Once I went BACK to the Uhaul store at 9am when they opened, I had to wait 30 minutes to get my truck which in total took an hour and a half out of my rental time that I had scheduled. I will not use this location again.

The vehicle was not fueled properly and had several mechanical issues with the doors that made the inside alarm alert to the problem. The interior had an excessively overpowering smell of body odor as if a homeless person were living in the van. The store attendant was the rudest person in all of my experience worth U-Haul. I'll find somewhere else to rent a vehicle even if I have to pay more.

Booked a uhaul for 10 am. Showed up and the guy looked at me like I was stupid for thinking I could get a truck there. I booked two weeks in advance. Didn't get a truck until 3 pm. Would never in my life use that location or uhaul again. Totally unacceptable.

The truck was not up to par! The car was disgusting and unsanitary. Upon driving the truck shaking when you drive above 60 mph. Also, the tires need an alignment. Overall, the truck need some work. Also, I reserved at one location off Roswell Rd - so happen to check my email for the time- Haul changed my location to Peachtree Rd without notifying me.

Everything about my experience was fine EXCEPT that I was charged for 2 rental periods instead of 1. I returned my vehicle after hours on day 1, and called Uhaul (spoke with 2 representatives after being on hold for over an hour). They confirmed I would only be charged for 1 rental period. Instead, I got a receipt charging me a $20 convenience fee PLUS another rental period.

The personnel at the store were rude and terse during our conversations and did not provide accurate information regarding the truck rental return process. I was told I could leave the truck parked in the rental return area and I would not be charged extra. In fact, I was charged extra, so I was given false instructions from the personnel working at the store. I'm extremely disappointed and angry at Uhaul for this experience.

The young man with whom I closed my contract was great: very friendly and very helpful. He is an asset to UHAUL. The person with whom I opened my contract, that location's general manager, was HORRIBLE! He engaged in conversation with others while I was trying to rent my truck causing a delay in me getting my truck; he didn't explain costs or the features of the truck as most locations do; he pointed at the location of the truck and the dolly as opposed to showing me where they were…he was HORRIBLY unprofessional and down-right rude. When returning my truck and waiting on my receipt, I was shocked to see how polite and engaging he was to the customer ahead of me as he had been so rude to me the day before….then I quickly realized the glaring difference: that customer was white, I was not. Your GM at this location needs training in diversity and Inclusion and how to treat customers from all backgrounds. He was a complete JERK!

Very hectic and busy when I arrived. Initially the staff did not inform me that it was going to take awhile to check in. Finally after I was informed of this, I explained to the guy that my daughter had to catch a flight and he took my key. It actually took a couple days for them to finally clear me out, Don't think I'll be using U-Haul again any time in the near future.Too much of a hassle!
