The location and people were good. The equipment was clean and hopefully well maintained. However, your 15' truck guzzled gas in a way I have not seen with Penske trucks. I drove a total of 25 miles only 10 of which were with a load, over flat terrain, and it used 8 gallons of gas. Disappointing fuel economy.JEFFREY ALAN G.

Being denied renting trailer for more than 24 hours is unfair and ridiculous, if Uhaul don't have enough trailers they should invest in more. I have inflatables I didn't get taken to uhaul storage in Fallon some hour & half away because I was denied extending trailer for further 24 house.Patrick B.

First of all in August the last year I reserved a trailer and halfway to my destination from Reno Nevada to Bellingham Washington you called and said you didn't have it and I had to go 30 miles past my destination. That trip was $1,800 miles round trip. When I got up there and rented a smaller trailer returned it here in Reno and you double charged me. Second of all this most recent rental I rented it for maybe 12 hours returned it the next day on time. You charged me three times and I did not have that money either. Then it became a big hassle to get my refund it took quite some time and a lot of calling you which was wasting a lot of my time trying to take care of this. I have to go back up to Bellingham Washington from Reno one more time and I will rent another trailer from you if it is a hassle like the other two times then I probably will never rent anything from you again. The mess ups in my order cost me hundreds of dollars on my move. I had called four times to make sure my truck would be ready at 7 am, because I had 4 workmen on the clock and waiting at my premises at 8 am. When I arrived, there was no 20 foot truck and my order was not known. Your sales people were very nice and tried to be helpful under the circumstances. It was your computer system apparently that caused the problems. They gave me a 10ft truck and had me come back hours later to trade. This caused delays in the work and disruption in the order things could be moved. The job took at least two hours longer than it would have. Also caused additional miles. Also, your furniture dolly was broken and I had to go buy oneâ€”another delay and extra cost.CHARLES WILLIAM S.

Everything went well. In-person check-in was fine, and the agent, (Rachel?) was very pleasant. The truck (20') was clean and ran fine. The box lift-gate operated easily, and the ramp deployed/stored smoothly. Return was easy, the agent (didn't catch his name, sorry) was pleasant and helpful, and it took only about 10 minutes total, including the agent's careful inspection of the returned vehicle. Special shout-out and thanks to "Miguel" who was very pleasant and helpful during an inquiry phone-call the night before pick-up. The U-Haul agents I interfaced with were all pleasant, patient, and helpful. Appreciate that very much.ROBERT JOSEPH P.
This whole process was a nightmare. I had a truck booked out to me 1.5 hrs away, when I asked if anything closer Heidi the service agent in NorCal said no take it or leave it. I tried back a little while later and spoke to someone else who found a truck 30min from me but the day before I was to pick up the truck the manager of the lot switched the truck to in town only - and apparently managers at uhaul are like god: all powerful and no one can talk to them. The Santa Rosa truck was also denied because they didn't want it traveling that far so Heidi had me going to a lot 3hrs away in Susanville. I decided to call the Nevada lots since I was going that way and I could kill two birds with one stone and spoke to Ashley who got me a truck in Reno and helped me out immediately- she rocks. Anyway- I'm going to try Budget or Ryder for now on.JOHN H.

Trucks engine sounded horrible and very cheap. It ran very slow on the freeway. I drove it for 23 miles and they wanted to charge me for 100 miles. Someone needs to check the mileage before it gets re-rented! The girl who gave us the keys only sent me an email and I had horrible service so I could not open up the link to verify the mileage on the contract. She also never told me to verify the mileage before I got on the truck. Thankfully I took a picture as soon as I got on. She did not bother printing me a piece of paper with the information even though I told her that I did not have good cell signal and I cannot open up her email or the text message she sent me. She was friendly but do not know what she was doing Other than that the staff was very friendly and two people were knowledgeable.DANIELA IVONNE G.

I made a reservation for the 9th and 10th and when I went to pick up my truck at 5:30 pm I was told that I had to have it back by 8:30 am on the 10th and when I said I made the reservation for two days she told me I didn't that I only made it for the night of of 9th when I returned the 15 foot truck on the morning of the 10th I then had to rent a 20 foot truck for the 10th I don't think I will ever use uhaul again because of the horrible customer service I experiencedMARK EDWARD P.

Our order was transferred here so my online check-in didn't work. I had to go inside, and it took 1/2 hour for him to upload our drivers licenses. Lady said tank needed to be left on atleast 1/4 of a tank, but when we checked out online it said it needed to be back at full.Angela K.

The lady that was working was rude. Then our truck was not returned and they rescheduled our pick up time without even letting us know. Then we had to get a smaller truck because it was all they had. I was scolded by the young lady referencing only they could disconnect the trailer and should not have parked it in the space I did. Maybe if the staff were not playing grab ass with each other and the facility had signs or your contact agreement stated what to do at 1030 in the am after with no staff anxious to explain the procedures after not one but 2 phone calls telling me i was late. Fire the manager Juan I think his name is. Berrated employees in nasty ways like every time I've been there. Took an extremely rude tone with me because of where I parked, which was right next to the trailer I was picking up. There were no parking spots left so I thought it was ok. Then as soon as he started â€œhelping meâ€ he asked me to pull up right where I was before. He kept telling me my card was declined even though the lady next to him made it clear to him for some reason they were supposed to manually enter them because some system problem. I'm so sick of this location, I've only ever used uhaul, totally turned off by it now. Not to whomever is reading this the location in south Reno is WAY BETTER RUN, clean and none of the trucks or equipment are given to you smelling like BO, cigarettes or sticky large stains in the truck boxes. They were super cool in south Reno. I think your manager needs to be fired or at least trained by those guys in south Reno.ROSS GREGORY J.

The Nevada place was great, but uhaul as a company was terrible. I reserved a 6x12 and it was guaranteed to be at the Salem, Oregon location. We drove an hour out to pick it up from Lincoln City to find its not there and there is no replacement within a 100 mile radias. I was offered a MUCH smaller trailer of 5x8 and was told it was in Gearhart, Oregon. This is an additional 2 hours away. We ended up having to give away some of our items away due to no room with the smaller trailer. This cost me unnecessary loss of time and money and induced quite a lot more of stress. We moved to another state so the opportunity to going back to get items was not an option. We should be reimbursed for everything.Adrienne L.

My truck broke down at vega texas and was toed the next day to Amarillo. It was cold in vega tx and I had to rent a hotel for my wife and I. The mechanic told me clearly that the truck was not serviced that's was why the compressor and fan belt messed our journey up. We but over $500 gas and when i asked the mechanic in Amarillo, he said it was because of poor servicing . I had all recorded. We had to look for new workers to unload our truck after two 2 days of which we already paid people that were suppose to unload the truck but they waited and left. It was a horrible experience for us. And I expect UHAUL to give us a refund for our ordeal.HENRY CHINAEMERE C.
