Staffing is needed in the morning. I had a 7:30 pick up and did the Express Check-In, I was not taken care of until an hour later. There was only one clerk working 3 stations and at least 7-8 people in front of me. Management MUST supply extra help at that time in the morning considering most people are independent workers looking to get their day started. This was definitely an issue and tempers were getting hot due to the wait which was not the clerks fault. I spoke to a gentleman in line behind me and he is there 3 times a week and says this has been going on for a while. I give the clerk much respect for her patience despite these circumstances which should have been better.

I didnt chose this location. I put my reservation in month ahead and was told that is all that was needed. Did the location close to home living in NYC is no joke driving through..a day before received a txt ..uhaul moving my pick up location to Brooklyn..deep in Brooklyn. Over an hour drive away..so 2 hrs just driving. Got there early..packed..only one very nice woman doing everything she could to help all. Another gentleman walked in to get his trailer and did not see his txt..he was also moved to another location and was understandably none too happy. Curtis was Amazing!!!! The people were Great..the UHaul operations...Terrible!!!. I actually got a red flag from a previous rental. I had gone to the uhaul place to pay this a year ago a d they said I didnt owe it. I paid 60 I didnt owe to release the red flag and rent. The 6 x 12 trailer was fantastic across country. On return another 60 caused an issue..this was the hold. UHaul operation s again no help...I need to wait a week and hope it is back in my account and I am again not charged the hold. Uhaul operations needs an overhaul!!

General Manager was a great help! There was a bit of a line upon arrival, as there was only one employee working the counter at the time. I appreciated the fact that he came out to assist. I was in a rush both during pick up and drop off, and he made it happen, even when they were quite backed up (drop off). The review deserves a 5, but bc of the GM, but unfortunately, the wait to pick up and drop off is below average from the uhaul stores I rented at.

I received a call to confirm my reservation within 30 minutes of my arrival for rental pickup however when whir to the location my size rental was not available. The 20’ truck wasn’t on the lot even though I was told that it was out of service because the rear door wouldn’t lock. I was assured I would receive a particular refund for the inconvenience; so far the full charges remain on my bank statement. I put in a call to the manager that went unanswered.

I really appreciated the workers at this location they knew how to multitask because it was only two workers and a lot of people I did have to wait over an hour but it wasn’t the workers fault because they were short of staff and as over whelming that can be both employees still continued to be helpful working in a timely matter and kept smiles on there faces

I rented a Auto Transport trailer. AT1122W license plate of transport : U5636 KANSAS They kept the equipment was not good at all I had the tie-downs for the straps for the tires one strap was completely broken where it didn't reach the crank I had to improvise and buy a strap to strap on and make it work out it should have not be rented out at all this particular trailer for transport. Also I had a blowout of a tire on the trailer as I was driving so I don't know if the tires are checked on a regular basis I waited almost three-and-a-half to four hours for somebody to come to repair on the side of the road

Donna and Curtis were the Only two representatives working on 6/29 my truck was to be picked up at 7am and I was running late when, I arrived the line was literally almost out the door. Donna, continuously reminded the customers of No more trucks being available only for reserved customers. There, were times when Donna had 3 customers at once! Curtis, would take the returned trucks and fill tanks if needed and line the trucks up for the following guest if needed. Eventually, I was next and my paperwork wasn't even situated Ms. Donna waited for me and I left pleased,with my truck and boxes.Mr. Curtis and Ms. Donna assisted Each customers with reservations, quickly and professionally! If this is outstanding Quality Service and Great Teamanship, I don't know what is! Both knowledgeable and amazing Reprentatives!

My reservation was for 9:30 am. I stood in line for 2 1/2 hours. When I asked the attendant if nothing could be done to speed up the process she simply kept repeating call 1800 UHaul. I did in fact try to call the number and had to hang up after being kept on hold for over half an hour. Horrible experience.

The staff was VERY professional. I want to definitely point that out first. However; they were completely under staffed. Yes the end/beginning of the month is crunch time for moving and the need to rent vehicles and with that knowledge; this location needs more people around for that. No way should I have had a reservation for 11pm and I didn’t walk out with my truck rental until 2pm. there was a lady on the line who had a reservation for 9AM and she walked out with her truck rental at 2pm too!!! That’s ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS!!!! That location needs more employees. And the manager and the lady that was there on 6/29/2019 both needs paid vacations and pay raises. Because those two people are doing the job of 5,6 people and they doing it with a smile. That’s just abusive to run those folks down like that. I’m sure no one sitting in the Uhaul corporate offices could handle those work conditions for 5 hours. Uhaul has GOT to do better.

Customer service was absolutely horrible the employee had blue hair and makeup with a nasty attitude the wait was extremely long I mean I was in line from 11:45 until after 12:30 because it was only one person helping at the counter customers were arguing and cursing each other out and not one worker intervened after the extremely long wait I was running an hour behind schedule for my move just a horrible experience at this location versus to others I’ve used in the past

I had reservations 24/7 but no keys in box, then I told worker and he said “everything is good from our end.” Then when I returned there was no initial odometer reading. I had rental for 700 but was in line till around 810, which would not have been a problem except that I have specific times to move in that apartment reserved. So I missed reservation time for elevator at apartment and it took 2-3 hours longer. The manager said, “if you have a problem, complain to U-Haul, if you complain to me then I don’t want to work here anymore. This was the most ridiculous rental experience that I’ve ever had. The employees are great once you get to them. The wait is a problem. I waited in line for a hour. Twice. When I went to pick up the truck and when I went back to buy some more tape and boxes. Only one person as a cashier and double as the person that has to go retrieve the truck. The manager Curtis is a very hard worker but he’s spent and can only do so much. Bottom line, more employees need to be scheduled at any given time.

3 people in line booked truck share/app pickup and none of us were able to pick up our vehicle remotely. I called a day before to confirm it’ll be ready as long as I have my smartphone so I didn’t have to wait in line bc I heard horror stories...... guess what? There was one person working with a line of 18 people out the door, I waited for an hour and 45 minutes at 7:30am, and had to move another truck in order to get mine out of the lot. The location is dirty, they couldn't find any of the supplies I ordered, and I ended up paying movers for an hour extra because it took so long to get the truck. Unprofessional and incompetent location.

I signed up for a mobile pick up to avoid waiting in line, since I was scheduled to be at a place early morning. When I get to the location to pick up the Uhual van, there was no vehicle assigned. I reset my app to make sure and it said the same thing. I asked one of the workers at the place and they asked the name on the reservation, but proceeded to help the customers waiting in line which I was standing on as well. I basically had to wait 45 mins to finally be helped and was late for our event. We loss some sales because of the delay. I don’t understand why would mobile app pick up be available, when you still have to wait 45 mins? The whole point of that was to avoid the wait. Also that vehicle should have been assigned before the customer arrive to pick up their rental. Disappointed and loss sales.

The cab of the truck smelt like cigarettes. Maybe including an odor eater to take away the smell. The knobs on the truck also kept falling off and the door handle on the inside was full with water.

I think the staff is extremely overworked as there is never enough staff compared to the number of customers and our demands. Curtis is an exceptional manager... he keeps the proper demeanor especially in the high stressful situations uhaul seems to like their staff to be in at all times. I believe uhaul is doing a disservice by continously overworking their staff. Overall my experience with this location would have been completely horrifying if it were not for the staff's personality and hard work.

Paid no attention to customer and had to re-enter data into computer that she constantly complained about, Process should have taken 10-15 minutes took longer than 1/2 hour. Waited on line over 35 minutes to rent and there was only 1 person in front. Upon returning car no space and no one available to drive van thru maze. Had to drive it in myself .

The agent named Tessa wasn’t much help. She had an attitude from the moment my uncle and I walked in with our reservation. She refused to take the reservation number, she preferred to search by name. When the reservation couldn’t be found then she took the number. She was unable to charge me for bubble wrap because it wasn’t in the system and tried to throw me onto to coworker who was taking care of her own customer. She asked for an alternate number which I provided. The next day contacts me for a payment, I explained my uncle is the card holder to contact him on the alternate number. She then stated there was no alternate number. She is rude, has an attitude when asked anything, unwilling to help and shouldn’t be working there or any where that deals with customers or servicing them.

The hitch installation was excellent, the guy did a fantastic job . However, we bought some boxes at the store and lineup was very slow. There were only a few of us but it took forever to finish at the cash.

When I went to pick up the truck, I was about the first on line. After completing the paperwork. it took about 40 minutes before I got the truck. The staff were in disarray not knowing what to do or who to do what. They were sending me to each other. The cameras are my witness. Fire the sales women and properly train the new ones to be respectful and honest.The young woman at the store lied to me about what vehicle was available. She did not give me a 19.99 vehicle although I asked several times. The older lady gave it to me when I said, I am not driving that large truck. No one inspected the vehicle. Dirty paper was on the floor of the van. Check the camera.

I rented and confirmed a 17 FT truck for 2:00 pm sending my Drivers License copy and everything. The message I received guaranteed that my vehicle would be waiting for me, only to arrive for the vehicle at 2:01 pm and told that the vehicle was not there. I had to give my license again only for the lady to copy it again and do the whole reservation again giving me a 15 Ft. vehicle that was dirty, as if someone was carrying fertilizer in it. The only thing that was clean was the two packs of blanket she brought from the office. I was getting frustrated, but kept my cool, so I could get the moving over with. I had to sweep the cab to put my furniture in it, then I saw the receipt where they are charging me on top of everything for cleaning a dirty vehicle they issued.

first I was sent to the wrong location that was closed via on line. I called and they told me they open at 7 AM the next morning. I got there at 7 and my equipment was not there. So I got sent to another location and they had no idea how to help me get the trailer on tow hitch. I had to lay on my back and figure it out. The manager was there on the return and he was great. But it was already a terrible experience.

The van had a cage that couldn't be open. I had a artifact that was a little long but the truck didn't allow me to open the cage... I had to make other changes. Also I believe they request to much information three different phone numbers were requested I thought that was a bit much to rent a truck to move a few items. I hope they are not selling personal information to give advertising

I was over charged by you guys. I drove about only 8 miles and you guys charged me for 16 miles. I then called to speak to someone and waited 30 minutes. The representative on the phone took my info and said the manager at that location would call me back regarding the issue. BIG LIE!!!!’ I did not received a call back. Very unprofessional and I would not use you guys again or recommend your services.

The person who rented the truck before me came back 45 minutes late to return the truck. Therefore I had to wait! One of the employees offered a downgrade to a smaller. After waiting for over 30 minutes I asked to be upgraded to a bigger truck for the inconvenience and was told no.
