Originally rented from downtown sac location. Was upset that truck wasn’t there when I arrived. System said El camino. I made a fuss. Calls to uhaul eventually convinced me that i had been informed by text. I then had a good experience at el camino. I want to say that downtown sac location dealt very well with an initially upset customer. Tough business sometimes.

Horrible experience! I specifically selected the Florin Road uhaul location and selected what was available at that location only. But when I got there for the 26' he said both 26' have gas lines cut & no one had informed me that my reservation was moved to El Camino Ave, 9 miles away through downtown traffic from my storage, for a 2pm pick up. I finally got it & drove it back to south sac to my storage & waited for the "movers" who I paid and confirmed for, and they never showed up. I ended up moving everything all night & all day while I'm pregnant. I finally got a text last night at 6:59 PM that my reservation was moved to el camino.... Gee thanks. No one at uhaul cares. Brittany and the other girl I complained to didn't care. I called twice to complain & said that I might need more time. I still ended up dropping it off at 3pm and they charged me for another extra day. I told them what happened but they don't care about fair customer service except making money. They basically said it's not worth disputing because it's their policy. Definitely go find rental trucks elsewhere where people might actually give good service, smile and pretend they like their job. Everyone I've met working at uhaul looks tortured & depressed.

Things need to be up dated and trucks need major tune ups. It would be nice if there was more than 1/4 tank of gas in the moving truck when you rent one.

Whe I went in the lady at the front desk quoted be approximately $65 for the rental which included the 50 approximate miles I was driving. When I returned it full of gas and 18 hours earlier then I was supposed. Mind you I drove 61 miles which turned into $46 in gas I had to put in for 61 miles she said the total was well over $100. She said because I went 11 miles over and used the hand cart. I didn’t touch the hand cadet other than packing stuff around it. She said she couldn’t do a refund for the hand cart. Gave me a $7 discount for something and said I must have heard her wrong earlier when she quoted $65. She said she had quoted $95. I know the difference when someone says $65 and $95. Then she just printed me the receipt for over $100 and said that’s it.

More enthused employees.. no one every is friendly or smiling or seems like they wanna be there. Moving is stressful enough, we don’t need attitude and more stress, especially if I’m spending money with you, they need to be more helpful.

Nothing. I got a call for an early pickup with no extra charge, it made the move so much better. I got in & our super fast. The staff were great!

My comments are for uboxes, I did not see the facility. I was so impressed by the customer service, great communication and reliability of uhaul uboxes. Would recommend & would absolutely use again.

The GM was outstanding, Melissa. She alone is the reason this location operates well. My complaint is that corporate wouldn't deliver my containers because I live 10 miles outside service area. ??

Getting my U-Box took about 10 days AFTER arrival at this facility. Poor communication at all facilities across U.S.; Young inexperiened staff, not trying to be helpful. Box put on backwards in MI.

The facility staff was fantastic, but delivery was a nightmare.The delivery was more than 8 hours late without notice.The boxes were too low so the doors didn’t clear the ramp.Pickup was 3 days late.

I would have rated facility excellent but they have not been able to resolve an overcharge on my account of approximately $180.00.

We didn't use the actual facility, we rented two U-Boxes. Ratified with them is mild, their size is deceiving and welcomed at the same time. Your driver was extremely helpful, I encourage U keep her.
