The truck only has 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. To make sure I had enough gas, I had to take it to get gas rather than being able to immediately start packing the truck. Second, there was added ‘pressure' to make sure I returned it with at least 1/4 tank to avoid additional $30 fee.

Although the agreement form indicated that the fuel tank was full, I realized it was not when i jumped in, not having time to deal with that, I made sure it was filled before returning and made the attendent at the UHaul location aware of that.

Keep the dolly and blankets out of the Uhaul. I had to take the dolly out of the uhaul becaude it took up space and then was charged for NOT even using the dolly!! Not happy. Then, was charged another 30 dollars gor gas but I ALREADY PAID for the gas...so i have OVER chaged by almost 40 dollars. Not going to use Uhaul again if i can help it!!

I entered the store before closing to return my trailer. It was difficult to enter the lot with the trailer because the entrance was blocked with two 15' trucks side by side. When entering the store, there were two workers (1 female, 1 male) that was helping a customer fix a payment issue. Neither employees acknowledged my presence for 10 minutes. I then went outside the stores to disengage the trailer and park it. I was able to check out on my phone. After this was all done, both employees came outside the store to start cleaning equipment, and they still did not acknowledge me or asked if I needed anything. When leaving the lot, the male employee screamed “ slow the F%ck down”! I was not speeding. Terrible experience.

The staff at U-Haul at Central Ave did a safety and lights hook up check for me the day before the trailer pickup. The trailer pickup went smoothly and efficiently. This was a long distance move, the trailer was newer and towed well even when encountering windy conditions.

People don't get, in general , that the estimated $$ cost is not the same as what you bill the individual's credit cart you should streamline the checkout - Payment process so that people only get billed for what they actually owe you. The $$ amount getting credited back to an individuals' account is usually an unclear inconvenience - causing confusion. Just charge the person the actual amount when they return the equipment.

We were not merely satisfied, we were ecstatic to find how easy the process was, how smooth reserving, picking up and returning....and navigating-- the pristine clean truck was! But above all that, it was the exemplary customer service--Tom of Dover was truly exceptional esp since we were new to this whole process and he calmed every jitter and went over and above answering questions, calls and giving us a beyond fair, truly a deal that eased quite a burden. The rental was not merely for a vehicle, it was a life event that for my family meant the world--and gave a mother and daughter the ability to move into a new home together after many years apart. Tom's part in this, a gentleman we were just fortunate enough to find through the internet and great reviews, is a business man with heart --THANK YOU to U-HAUL and thank you to Tom!

I have rented from this location before and always had great experiences this one wasn't. The clerk was less than polite and the truck received was worn out. The drivers door didn't shut properly, the shift lever didn't work properly though functional and the transmission sounded not good.

I was pretty shocked that the cost to rent this 10' truck was FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!! I picked it up at 10am, traveled about 48 miles, returned at 3pm AND had to fill the truck to full.
