I initially had a different location booked and then 2 hours before my pick up they changed my location from one that was 1 min away to on that was 35 min away. I get to the new location and they inform me they do not have keys to my truck and try to send me to another location. Finally they found a truck for me but it wasn't what I reserved and they also did not have any of the equipment I reserved available. Overall it was a terrible experience renting from UHUAL.ERICK P.

I reserved a 15 ft truck and the truck they gave me ran hot 10 minutes later. I was able to get the truck back to them. I was given a 20 ft truck as a replacement which I was okay with. When I returned the truck they changed me the price of a 20 ft truck instead of a 15 ft truck. And I was charged for a dolly and moving blankets. I didn't ask for either of those. This location does not answer their calls they are sent to a call center. I will avoid this location in the future.KARLA J.

What can you do to improve? How about tell your associates to put the phones down for 5 minutes to help the customers. The cashier was on the phone the entire transaction. The young lady that hooked up the trailer ready clearly cross training and she was on her phone, too. She at least ended her conversation when it was time to hook up the trailer. The cashier was the one teaching her how to hook it up and was on the phone THE ENTIRE TIME SHE WAS SHOWING HER WHAT TO DO! Highly unacceptable! Sadly, it's to be expected on candler rd. Employees at desk presented an unwelcoming atmosphere. I was waved over, not greeted but waved over with a hand gesture. Employee proceeded to handle my account while hunched over in chair and spoke with little to no energy or sense of urgency. Very unpleasant experience.ROBERT J.
Not charge someone for a vehicle that was stolen and had nothing to fo with me. They wouldn't call the cops until I came in person until I had to call the cops first. Truck was dirty, gas level was on E, trucking wobbles all over the road when driving, lady when checked our refused to return calls, no dolly had to drive around to find one, truck was parked on gas next to homeless people area where they live, no concern for Covid19, I drove around 20 minutes looking for location there's no actual sign. The truck was clean but soapy. They washed the inside of the truck but did not dry it off. It was soap inside the truck and they EXPECTED ME TO GET INSIDE A WET TRUCK THAT HAD SOAP ON THE FLOOR. When i told them the floor was wet and soapy the girl had an attitude and ask "What do you want us to do about it?" COMMON SENSE would tell you to dry off the floor so i dont slip and hurt myself trying to get inside a wet truck but I had to tell her to get something to dry it off with. So another girl comes out with paper towels and hands them to ME for me to dry off the floor. Thats not my job! I paid to have a complete truck not were I have to pay to do part of their job. Very tacky service. The truck had an engine light on and sound like it would break down any minute. The dash did not read the milage, It read it needed service soon. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE BUSIINESS ETIQUETTE CLASSES or learn how to do customer service in a professional manner. Your dealing with people money and their time so earn my dollars and dont try and make me do something im paying you to do. remember without customers you have no business and no job. Im going to another trucking company next time. Too many times i have had a issue with uhual employees. This is the last straw. Ill take my money somewhere else.Masika M.

One person working, overreserved uhaul's. I ordered one for the clairmont uhaul location on Saturday and went there and told me they're out of uhaul's until Tuesday of this week thanks to UPS. So they told me to go to this location on Saturday 11/20 when I made the reservation that previous Tuesday for clairmont. I get to the candler road location to only find out they're next available uhaul is Sunday. I go, pick it up Sunday, (after waiting in life for 20-30 minutes). And complete my move. I return it in perfect condition gassed up with over a quarter of a tank left. I see my charge was $91 but then get charged $1,115.24 today and refunded my $91. I have no idea what's going on but I'd like to figure it out and get my money back from the mislead charge of $1,115.24. This is totally unacceptableMICHAEL P.

I reserved the equipment online. When I started the pickup process, I received a message that something was missing from my order. When I arrived at the store, I was told that the truck was missing from my order. Luckily, someone had just brought it back while I was waiting in line. Ordering online does nothing. I had to do everything in the store that I did online. They do not have a furniture dolley at all, but it's online. I was not given the utility truck, so I had to go back to the store. The 26 ft truck was clean but needed necessary repairs. The transmission was not engaging as needed. The steering had tremendous play in the wheel. The brakes were OK but every time we stopped, the truck would belch black smoke. The truck even left an oil puddle in my driveway. Even though the truck had only 30K miles on it, it clearly not being maintained properly. Lastly, I had to call U-Haul Traffic to confirm my rental up to 6pm the day before I was to pick up the truck. After pressuring them to find my file, they told me my truck was to be picked up in a location different than on my reservation paperwork. More knowledge people are needed not only to maintain/repair trucks but also in the official U-Haul locations for pickup & drop off and working the phone/online stations. Very frustrating & makes for a poor company image.JERRY P.

I am the director of a food pantry so every month sometime twice a month I have to rent a truck I have done this for the last 10 years. unfortunately the past 2 months I have had mechanic problems with the 26' truck that I rented. 24 hours after I dropped off the truck, personnel called, left a voicemail, and stated that I had not dropped off the truck and had stolen it. When I called to inform them that I had indeed dropped off the truck the previous day, another store employee confirmed that the truck had been received. Very incompetent service.Emerald D.
