My U-Haul truck died twice and I had to have a friend jump it both times in order to get it started. I requested road side assistance after it first died. Because they couldnt get to me quickly, I called a friend for a jump. When they came, the truck started right up and battery apparently looked fine. They left and then I tried to start the truck, which didn't start again and needed to be jumped.EVAN W.

The truck didn't have a ramp, nor running boards, which made it very difficult to move furniture, and get in and out of the vehicle. I didn't realize that it had no ramp until I made it to my destination, and it wasn't stated at the time of the rental, I would not have rented it if I had known this up front, thank you.QUEEN S.

There was a lot of play in this truck's steering wheel. It did not feel safe to drive it on the highway, so I used side streets. Sure wouldn't accept it for a cross country move. Also, I would have been a lot happier if personnel were wearing face masks. They seemed to be oblivious of the new surge in covid cases. Otherwise, truck was clean and the clerk made an effort to switch me to a 15' truck when I realized the 10' I'd reserved didn't have a loading ramp.VICKI M.

I am 100% satisfied with my experience. Kyla was an awesome representative of Uhaul. She was my main contact through my entire experience. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Professional. Informative. And her attention to detail saved me money. She is modest yet a champion. She is reserved but packed with a punch. In all honesty this move was the absolute worst I have ever had. The ONLY great part was Kyla and the team at this location. Seriously if it was not for their willingness to help me as I navigated through my comedy of errors, I could not have moved forward. The truck was not cleaned properly....actually had marijuana leaves and buds in the bed and on the ramp. Truck smelled of marijuana leaving my belongings smelling of marijuana. Cannot believe I was charged $400.00 for a truck that wasn't cleaned and a GM that wasn't empathetic with the situation. There are too many options for me to risk using U-Haul ever again.MICHAEL B.

Nathan French should be given a significant raise, or at the very least a bonus. Not only did Nate take care of me, and resolved all my issues (none of which where this location's fault), he was installing a hitch, training a new employee, giving guidance/assistance to other employees, and troubleshooting issues with several customers; impressive multitasking. You can train your managers to be more compassionate especially about certain circumstances I was just trying to help my ex get moved and was told my card wouldnt be charged anymore since he was in jail and the rental was in his name. Your manager at the 39th store in OKC proceeded to chew my ass out and tell me I shouldnt help people out like that. I have been having a shit week which is ending with dhs at my home because my ex is being a dick. I was trying to get milk when I couldn't because there was another 107 charge on my card. I got hung up on 2 times and sat on hold 3 times to talk to someone and she treated me like shit. I get that I used my card to rent the uhaul. But I'm a single mom and can not afford these charges It overdrafted my account and now I have no milk for my kids. She really should not be in the position where she deals with people. I'm not trying to scamm you or get something for free. The uhaul sat at my house another 4 days before they came and got it. I didn't now drive I all as the keys were with the guy who rented it. A little compassion goes a long way. She didn't have to be a bitch to me. I have enough going on in my life right now to have some lady who knows nothing about my situation to chew me out and be a bitch.JOSEPH D.

This location ripped me off! We drove the truck 12 miles total, never left it idling, and did not haul a heavy load. We put in 1.5 gallons of gas before returning it. They then billed me for 4 gallons of gas, at nearly $5 per gallon. So, according to them, you can expect to get just over 2 miles to the gallon.DENISE B.

The price I ended up paying had no correlation with the price I thought I'd pay. When I reserved the pickup online it said I'd pay around 69$ at pickup for 72 hours and .69 a mile upon return. I even overestimated the miles we'd drive. But I extended my time by 3 hours and ended up paying nearly $180!! I am not impressed with the price at all. And the environmental tax is for what exactly? Anyway I'm just kinda blah with the whole experience with uhaul. The people were pretty nice even if they weren't very helpful with the explanation of prices.Jessica T.
