The truck was dirty. When I returned the truck I told them that I put in the fuel that it said to put in but it was below the line and I offered to go get more fuel and they told me it would be fine. Then they charged me for fueling the truck.

Well the picture on my phone didn't show the proper location of the truck. When I went inside to ask, I was rudely told “it's that truck over there” with a blind point towards the parking lot. No additional instructions. For someone who has never done this before, the employees couldn't have been less helpful. When I arrived to drop it off, I was yelled at to “leave the keys in the truck and given no additional instructions.

Don't give me rental with fuel below half and then charge me when I return it with the same amount of fuel. That's crap. So now I pay for the fuel I pumped in and your surcharge.

Customer rep was friendly and quickly hooked up the trailer and made sure lights were working. Drop off equally smooth. I have rented a trailer 4 x this month and each time excellent experience. Price was fair. I will tell others and will be a return customer.

I made an online reservation several days in advance. I got a call the day after I made the reservation saying they didn't have the truck size I needed but it said available online. I agreed to a smaller truck. A few days later I show up to the dealer and he basically said there wasn't anything available, he doesn't have my name in the system and he can't do anything for me. I showed him my confirmation/reservation number and email and he said that doesn't mean anything to him and sorry for the luck. I had a whole group of people waiting to help me move. I asked if he would call corporate or whoever handles it and they suddenly had the one I originally wanted ready for me at another location on the other side of town. I drove all the way over there and they told me they were out of stock on the appliance dolly I paid for in advance. They gave me a regular dolly instead to move a stacked washer and dryer down two flights of stairs. All around it was a terrible experience and I won't be using U-Haul ever again. Too much stress on an already stressful day.

I was very disappointed in my experience. The truck was covered in dog hair which got all over my furniture etc. Not only was it covered in dog hair but the key kept on getting stuck and wouldn't turn over to start the uhaul truck. The E-break also got stuck and it took several people to help get it down. It was a huge headache.

Listen to your customers! We were moving from OKC to Wichita, and my fiance, who is from Wichita, picked a dropoff location that was a dedicated U-Haul store within easy driving distance of our new home. The associate checking us out in OKC talked us into a self-storage facility that was slightly closer. Turns out, the storage facility has very limited weekend hours (10-3 on Saturday and not open until noon on Sunday) that made it almost impossible for us to make our dropoff time (8 a.m. Sunday). Our original preferred location was open until 7 p.m. Saturday. We ended up having to rush the truck back to a secondary location to avoid extra charges.

I came in to setup a vendor account as a certified mover, but was told that it's all the same and that I would be treated just like a regular account, so I was okay with that. I rented a truck from the associate while the GM Nathan French looked on. I had no problem with that rental. I came back in a few days later to rent another truck and this time it was the GM Nathan French who helped me. Right off the bat, he tried to get me to commit to a certain time to bring the truck back, when I came in wanting it for 24 hours. He threw a number out there like 8 hours and rushed me through the contract process not telling me that he had reserved it for 8 hours, not 24 hours like advertised on all of your trucks. So I went over a couple of hours, but returned the truck right at 7pm CST while noticing that the GM Nathan French was in with another employee closing down the store. So I knocked on the window and asked them where the drop off box was so that I could check in the truck myself. A lady inside working with Nathan French pointed at the garage door and told me that a drop box was located there. So, I proceeded to check in the truck myself, but I mistakenly turned the key in before I could take pictures of the gas hand. I only drove the truck for 10 total miles and dropped by the 7-11 to put in 2 gallons of gas prior to returning it. So, low and behold, I checked my credit card account and I had been charged another day's rental at $45.65 as well as another $10.22 for gas. I went back in the next day to go over the extra charges, but the guy I spoke with wasn't willing to make any adjustments. In fact, he made a statement saying that U-haul is going to stop dealing with moving companies because they have abused their reservations by bringing the trucks back in several days late. He gave me a card with Nathan French as the GM on it, and told me that he didn't care if I never rent a truck from u-haul again and if I had a complaint, to just take it up with customer service. So, I wasn't given an option to rent the truck for 24 hours because he set the contract up for 8 hours, and then appeared to be upset when I brought it back about 2 hours late so this is when the extra charges were added. Then, since my photo of the fuel gauge was taken from outside the window because I had already turned the key in, he added a $10.22 gas charge to my bill. So, he ended up charging me an extra $45.65 + $10.22 to my 10-hour rental. Furthermore, I was never sent an email to confirm what had been charged for this transaction, and I believe Nathan French did this on purpose so that I would have trouble disputing it. I would have been okay with working it out with customer service, but this person was very condescending and also marked my account as "Moving Company." I realized this had been done when I went to another U-haul to rent a truck. So, I asked him what Nathan put on my account and I was told that he flagged it as a “moving company” as if I had abused my rental privileges like other movers have in the past. I have rented a lot of trucks from U-haul over the years and had never been treated or talked to like this, so it was shocking. I'm hoping someone over the General Manager level at this location can look into this situation and keep them from doing this to other innocent customers. This was a bad experience and this so-called manager doesn't have the slightest amount of customer service or people skills to serve or be given a title as General Manager.

We picked up the truck and made it less than halfway home and the truck wouldn't shift out of 3rd gear, so we turned around and headed back to the location. I told Matoby the vehicle wouldn't shift out of 3rd gear and he states "I don't have time for this today". Well, I may be wrong, but making time for your customers is what keeps them returning and the reason he is getting paid. He's rude, he does not even come close to the previous encounters I've had with U-Haul. I will definitely continue using U-Haul, but NOT at any location that has this employee on their roster. Because of this staff, if I could give negative stars, I would.

My truck had the odor of cigarette smoke when I picked it up. Had to endure the smell throughout my journey. The truck should properly deodorized if possible before the next driver uses it.
