They didn’t have the truck on-site at my reserved time. I had to walk across a street and through the parking lot of some non related gas station to get to the truck. And then I had to wait out in the cold for 15 minutes for another U-Haul employee to finally show up and bring me the key. Why wasn’t it ready? Why did I have to walk and go get it? Is this your customer service? The service agent also was not clear about the charges regarding the days estimated. I specifically asked if I brought the truck back earlier than the projection would I be credited that time. He said yes I would. But that was not the case.

One of the white reverse lights is burned out on the truck rented to us. The driver side, on the back of the truck. Of course we didn’t notice until we loaded the unit. Luckily we only drove during the day.

Inspect vehicles better. I got a box truck that had a gas leak in the line. I tried to put gas before returning it and it was just pouring out the gas line under the truck. Thankfully I was able to finish what I needed to because the store was already closed. Maybe stay open later for issues that happen like this the vehicle can be switched out.

Make sure customers understand not to block or leave equipment in the canopy area for check-in. It was blocked after hours, and hindered picture taking of my equipment when I needed to return it. Customer service was excellent!

Make sure everyone is properly trained and are happy with there job. no one told them to apply and be rude. And put a time limit on your app when you’re going thru the process of calling people to see if the customer is real. So it can remain contactless.

First thing is the customer service provided by Chris at the 6th street address was abominable. He was rude, inconsiderate, and very unhelpful. I had arranged to pick up my vehicle outside of their normal working hours using my U-Haul app and my iPhone. When I arrived at 8 o’clock on Sunday morning to pick up my vehicle, I clicked on pick up my vehicle and was sent a message by U-Haul that a vehicle had not been assigned to my reservation. I lost an hour, and I lost an hour of pay for the individuals I had hired to move through the U-Haul app. The movers were fantastic. When I arrived at the U-Haul Sunday morning, found it closed found no key available and saw that a vehicle had not been assigned, The mover Gary got on his iPhone to contact you haul for me while I was on my phone Also trying to contact U-Haul At about 8:50. Chris showed up. I told him what the situation was and he in a very rude voice said “I don’t clock in until 9 o’clock so I’m not gonna do anything until then” . At 9 o’clock he opened the door and yelled at me “hey come in”. At the counter, he was so rude and unhelpful, He actually brought me to tears. When I returned the vehicle, he was no better. He was rude told me I was over on the mileage. I disputed that, and he became belligerent. I finally said charge me what you’re going to charge me, but get me out of here. Since he continued to be rude and surly, as I walked out the door, I said to him “you are a dick”. I have already told all my friends about my horrible experience at U-Haul and with Chris and I will continue to do so. You know how to reach me by email should you decide you want to.

Pick up went fine. When we dropped off the gentleman said that it was "touching the 1/4 line, but on the lower side of it. That will be $36." I asked if we could fill it up a little more and he said yes. When we went across the street to fill it up with a few extra gallons and got back he said "now it is 5:01pm and we are closed." I asked if it was going to cost more and the other worker said no. We did the self check-in and got a bill the next day with an extra day charged AND a after hours fee. Corporate was very helpful to take off the charges, but I would not go to this location again. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the one worker was very kind, but the other seemed like he just wanted us to incur extra charges.

It is always a pleasure to do business with U-Haul on 6th Street in Albuquerque New Mexico Josh the attendant was very pleasant to work with however I was disappointed in the fuel that was not at the required level it was less than required I was very disappointed..

Make the check in after hours could be simple and fast. The scan code was miserable, did not take me to where I could then return the unit. And had links that I didn’t need to download. Make it sweet and simple!

They wouldn't allow me to use my visa card to get the truck I always use. Radio didn't work. The worker had the worst attitude about cleaning my footprints off the floor. John G was the best the others have to be in training. That was awful.

When I get to this place I look round and see the drop off point, so I drive to it and exit the U-Haul. Very nice man greet me with hello , may I please have the keys. Together we checked the equipment, mileage, fuel, and we smiled and shook hands. He went on to do his thing , I walk home.

The text and email spam about the order was excessive. Two texts and emails per status change. Also, got a message to call and confirm my delivery address so I called. Something simple right, nope. I was put on hold as soon as I got a human after giving my account information. I hung up after 5 minutes of waiting to repeat my address.

The U-Haul supplies/materials were somewhat disorganized and the building was rather small. I liked the way the lot was set up, with a clearly marked section for the U-Haul to be parked for inspection. The U-Haul worker was courteous and quickly checked out the truck.

The Original pick up location 1801 Atrisco Dr NW did not have my equipment ready at the time of reservation. Upon making my reservation a $50 Reservation Guarantee had been offered so I made my reservation with confidence. When I arrived to the original location the EMPLOYEES LIED TO MY FACE and said “The reservation guarantee has a 30min grace period” so I immediately called a UHAUL representative and turns out there is no such thing as a “grace period” and assured me my $50 credit would be honored.

The trailer disconnecting from the truck (3) times is a serious issue. It nearly killed me and my passenger when it pushed us into oncoming traffic. The trailer safety brake cable snapped and the safety cables attached to the truck were too long to serve their purpose. Poor equipment maintenance as well as poor follow-up have been par for the course. My accident happened a month ago and I have spoken to no actual people at REPWEST. I would never tell anyone to use Uhaul. In fact, I will steer anyone far and away from this company.

Don't know why I was charged the $20 and limited to less than 4 hours, when it's advertised on the side of the truck, 24.hours for $20! And this location won't accept a debit card like every other location I've used in the last 6.years!

9 out of 10 times I tried to access my storage to put stuff in/out, I was unable to do so. Due to the lanes being blocked by either uhaul trucks or employee cars. Even the day I moved out 12/26.
