Door was stuck and missing dolly was charged for it. Application crashed multiple times when picking up truck

It took almost an hour to get truck I had reserved weeks prior through mobile app. Had to reverify license and contacts multiple times. Truck was very dirty in back and app wouldn't let me say it was. I had reserved a furniture dolly but the location did not have any for me day of. It's ridiculous to have reserved something, pay for it, then not receive it, especially when you were counting on it to make your move easier. Upon returning the app glitched out multiple times.

It was great--the pick up & drop off were incredibly easy! The only thing that WOULD be nice (but it's also understandable why it can't happen--the lot IS small, and they move LOTS of trucks!), is if it were possible to park your vehicle in a parking lot while you rent the truck, as opposed to just on the street. Everything about the actual rental was great, though--very easy process, and it was awesome to realize that they also have a store where you can buy all your moving boxes! Also, adding a moving dolly for the $7.00/day rental is TOTALLY worth it!!! I don't know who designs/makes the U-haul branded Dollys, but they roll smoother, are better balanced, and easier to tip into position to roll, than literally *every* other dolly--from home-use to work dollies, that I've ever used. As a short woman, I've DUMPED stacks of boxes, trying to tip a dolly into position, far too many times in my life. In all the trips back and forth I've done in this particular move, that only happened once! And, again, speaking to the design & impeccable balance--when you're short, it's also VERY common to "over-tip" a dolly, and end up dropping it, because the center of gravity gets too far backward. I have yet to do that, with a rented U-haul Dolly, no matter HOW heavy the boxes are! They are ABSOLUTELY worth that $7.00 per day, for the ease they offer!

When I went online and ordered a truck for rental I clicked on a couple furniture dollies when I got there they only had one Dolly and I wanted to and then actually I turned around and wanted a third one there was no dollies that I could rent at that location I had to go to a different location to pick up some dollies and then I turn around again rented a truck that same week and found out again they did not have any dollies I had to go to a different U-Haul place to pick up some dollies and that's why I low scored the U-Haul place a customer service was fine it's just that when I wanted some equipment to rent there was not only trucks thank you

I returned the truck with the same amount of gas but was "by default" charged the $30 gas fee on the top of $9 for gas. Discovered it only when came home and opened the link to the receipt. I should have checked it, course, before leaving the office but... You got me this time. Sad.

They had the wrong phone number for me first of all. I made my reservations in person. I did not mess up on the phone number. it wasn’t taken down correctly. I was supposed to get my U-Haul on Saturday night but because they had the wrong phone number and they didn’t have it right on two different things. I guess it wasn’t going through on the app. I got there Sunday morning because I was supposed to pick it up at 8 AM. That didn’t work. I still couldn’t get onto the online part so that I could pick up the truck. I then had to wait till the store opened. I’ve been asked for compensation for at least all the trouble that I went through. And everybody I spoke with said they couldn’t do it .

I got the van and it had 50 miles left. I brought it back with 100 left and let the employee know it was so low. He shrugged and said, yeah it was at 1/4.

The U-Haul that was on Nicollet didn't I have a dolly every time I use it and then the lady did not really help me what I needed but beside that was a young man to help me it was pretty good

There was only 1/4 tank of gas in the truck. I wasn’t anticipating needing to immediately put gas in the truck. Plus, it’s harder to replace only what I used, when I can’t just refill the tank.

The trailer was older and not “clean” on the outside but had good tires and the wiring worked so it served its purpose. The employee who hooked me up was excellent . Facility at pick up and service 5 star. Equipment 4 Star.

Door lock cylinder was so loose it would come out of driver's door when locking door. Otherwise, truck was fine and useful for transporting items. Ramp and lock on box sliding door were helpful. The locking mechanism for the dolly is a useful addition to prevent it sliding around in the truck.

The service was great, employees were wonderful. The homeless people in the parking lot were disturbing. I wasn’t comfortable with them shoeing me their phone with a translation from Spanish asking if we needed moving help. Also very disappointed the truck didn’t have a ramp. Assumed it would. Rented dollys and could use them. I was only able to haul part of what I needed moved because I discovered too late it didn’t have a ramp. Wasted $$ as I’ll need to rent a different truck now.

This review is for Uhaul corp. website , not pickup location. The website asks where you are going and what you are pulling trailer with. Than 24 hours later they tell you the closest trailer for 1 way is 2 hours away. Why could they not be up front and honest from the beginning? I could of bought my own trailer for a couple hundred more if I knew what i was dealing with. Than we returned trailer 2 days early and I thought I'd get a credit for the 2 da

Great location staff at checkin was excellent the cargo van I rented could have used a wash and the left back tire was low on air and the warning light on the dash indicated so when I got in the truck’ I stopped and put some air in after I filled the tank but warning signal on the dash never went out? All in All I was very happy with my rental experience! Thanks U-Hall🤣😀😀

I had orginally reserved a 10' truck but after movers saw our furniture they recommend chaging to a 15' truck. Central reservations was wonderful they were responsive and very helpful. The location was the excat opposite hard to work with they didn't know if the 15' had cursie control and i had called a couple of days before the rental to findout if they had cursie control on the truck the person who answered must have turned to another individual and said it that cursie control guy again. Not cool. The truck was left with 23 miles worth of gas so was worrisome when I left the lot. I had reserved the truck to pick up at 7:00 as the movers would be at our place at 7:30. Nobody showed up at the location until 7:43. So not it is costing me money as the movers were sitting waiting for me. I finally got to our house at 8:16. Also there was something wrong with the gas tank as I had to hold the gas nozzel the whole time a avery low rate of gas flow as it would backwash and stop putting gas into the tank. I would take me 15 to 20 minutes to fill up the truck. Not cool

The truck I finally ended up with was fine. However, I had to go through the truck check-out process and start 3 trucks before finding one that did not have an engine warning light on. I'm glad I found one as I would not have felt very confident driving a truck with that warning light on. The young lady at the register was helpful in going through the process of rejecting and trying other trucks.

the staff at this location is apathetic. they couldn't be bothered to quit looking at their cellphones. they made no attempt to make you feel like a valued customer. i will NEVER rent from this location again!

The truck was awful. the handle of the window crank was broken, the dash had smashed glass on all the displays, the radio didn't work, the acceleration was bunk - and the gas tank was on fumes. But you can't do anything about it if your pickup is close to the end of the day. And the way the pickup process is with photos it doesn't let you indicate it

Hi. I’m very unhappy with how my rental experience went. Moving on its own is stressful. My truck was not ready for me at time of pick up. In addition, the U-Haul had about a 1/4 a tank of gas, covered in graffiti and the front fender was all tore up. In addition, the inside of the cab (cup holder area) had stains and was sticky.

While the staff were friendly, the equipment was dirty outside and inside. The side view mirror on the right was cracked upon my arrival. The U-Haul bed was dirty with scraps of old moving material. The truck also had a low tire pressure light, which I was advised was due to “cheap sensors”. I’ve had better U-Haul experiences before but this one seemed surprisingly rough.

The truck had trash in its interior. The passenger door had a wind gap. Air rushed in while driving, making a constant whooshing noise. Either the window or door wouldn't close completely. The lock on the back door had been cut, and the location didn't have a replacement lock. The truck had 108,000 miles on it and lacked a comfortable suspension. The location is handy but be warned of the $1.29/mile charge if you are going anywhere out of the city.

The van was blocked in and it seemed a hassle for someone to help me move the other van. The van was covered in snow and ice. I was handed a scraper and told they don’t clean off the vehicles- that it was my responsibility.

The right front headlight was out and we picked up before dark. Then it was difficult to do the return so we will be charged $20 I guess because we didn’t use the web return. The app didn’t work at all. Would like to speak to someone about that

The truck ran well but smelled bad. It was ok. I would like as a neighborhood resident to see the grounds of the Uhaul cleaned up. Chicken bone, trash , very unkept. Great staff. Maybe just clean up a bit. Thank you.

The steering was so loose that it was hard to keep the truck in the lane with only a light wind. Driver's door leaked air and was so noisy that you could not hear the radio. The bathroom was out of order at the location. There was a lot of trash all around the facility.

i didn't check the fuel gauge before i started driving, and when i filled up at the end of my trip, i filled 6.8 gallons -- which was a lot, since my trip was less than 10 miles total. i told the attendant when i got back, and they said "you were only supposed to fill up to 7/8ths full, there's nothing we can do". i said that's a really weird policy to fill to 7/8ths, and nobody told me about it, and they just walked off. awful customer service.

I wasn’t given the vehicle I reserved even though it was $50 guaranteed. The one I got smelled like cigarettes, was dirty, had graffiti on the side, and the seat wouldn’t move forward. Terrible experience.

Our truck had graffiti on the left side. The back right tire had 10PSI (should be 80PSI). I asked your employees to fill the tire and they told me to go to the gas station and fill the tire. That’s embarrassing for your company.
