Eric WalterThe trailer I rented was broken. They told me I needed to go across town to pick up another one. I asked if they could give me a larger trailer for the same rate and they said no. I was in a rush and ended up paying 50% more for a larger trailer due to the inaccuracy of trailer availability the booking process.

ANTHONY CATBAGANThey never pick up the phone, claim not to pick up because they're busy. Called while in the store with the manager standing at the counter whith no customers and my call still went to voice-mail. They also said that they close their cash registers at 6:30, half an hour before end of business day. If you want to return equipment, close out and pay in cash, you might be in for a frustrating experience!!
edwin mooreThe rep was a little rude when I approached him in the parking lot, he responded like it was a bother to help me as a customer, then inside he proceeded to curse the "F" word twice out loud for all customers to hear. I believe one of the reps was late therefore they, the other employee and him were not happy campers, but is that our fault?? Anyway they seemed VERY unprofessional.

Joanna CornelThe entrance is confusing and the location is difficult to access. I pulled the trailer in but was not acknowledged, so I assumed I go inside to let them know I’m there. I’m in line for 10+ minutes, still don’t get acknowledged or asked what I can be helped with. When I finally ask the gentleman behind the counter if I need to do anything specific with the trailer, he said to tell someone outside. I could have been told that when I walked in and saved 10 minutes and my trailer blocking the drop-off. Just seemed like they were phoning it in that day. Once I got outside and found an attendant all was good. Thanks again for the trailer

Judith MirandaOffice employees were exceptional. They were the best part of the experience. The van had a soda can from the previous driver. And it seems that the last driver returned the van after hours, so the fuel was jnaccurately documented. PCH is a centralized location for Long Beach residents. The office staff are great. Its up to the community to show some ownership when renting equipment that other community members will use too.
slyvester harrisThey were closed when I arrived BEFORE their published closing time so I had to leave the truck. I left a dash cam in the truck but when I showed up just after they opened the dash cam was gone. they employee claimed to have no idea where it went.

Candyce SmithThe maintenance issue encountered was not the problem of the U-Haul employees at this location. They did the best they could when I was late for my appointment and gave me the only remaining van they had which unfortunately stunk of cigarette smoke and had a broken piece in the back that had been hidden by the last person to rent the vehicle, I would absolutely come back here again, as the employees are very hard-working and did a great job.

Candyce Smith1. Employees forgot about me when I moved my vehicle in front of the trailer. I waited about 10 minutes, then lifted the trailer onto my hitch, chained, and connected electrical. Then I went inside to ask them to check my work. Employees were sitting and chatting and told me they had forgotten about me. 2. Electical wiring did not connect and had to be replaced before i could leave. 3. I drove several miles before I thought to check to make sure the moving blankets had been put inside the trailer. They had not. I had to return to pick up the blankets. No apology was offered to me. 4. There is no stop on the roll up door, and the locking arm buried itself past the point I could get to it. I had to use a pry bar to get the locking arm out and close the door. 5. I did not use the moving blankets, and I was told the U-Haul policy is to not refund the cost of the moving blankets. I did not open the bags, so it is obvious I did not use them.

michael wadeI am a automotive mechanic. Today. I use the truck to move my toolbox and other heavy equipment from storage. I went from Long Beach, California to Torrance and back in <3 hours and a 1/2. Much cheaper than a tow truck with charge me for moving my toolboxes

Tony SchusterTruck interior was a bit on the musty side and the steering wheel plastic has deteriorated. The driver sun visor was dangling from the swivel arm. And the seat was cracking and could use a seat cover or something. Truck worked great apart from cosmetics.
