dolores fOur driver Kristy Jones was excellent, she was very kind, and she let the customer service at U-Haul know she was running behind schedule and to let us know. However, my husband and I had to call several times to get an answer from anyone at U-Haul as to where our driver was and what was going on. Originally our u-boxes were supposed to be delivered on a Thursday but the weigh station was down so they pushed our delivery to Saturday. With that being said, our delivery time on Thursday was 9am-11am and we didn’t get a call until 3pm saying that the weigh station was down, so we sat around waiting all day for no reason. Then Saturday comes and we call U-Haul, they say deliveries had been taking longer that day and were running behind which is fine understandable, they said to call back again later if we hadn’t heard anything new. We called back an hour later and still nothing really, as we were talking to the woman on the phone about what all had happened pretty much she hung up on us, so I proceeded to call back and finally was able to reach someone that was very nice and helpful I wish I remembered her name. Overall, it was just a very frustrating few days with no answers and just waiting around waisting our day waiting on our delivery. Kristy Jones did a wonderful job in communication with us though once she had our number and was able to just call us directly and not have to communicate through whoever at U-Haul. Kristy was very kind and efficient and her smiling face when she delivered our u-boxes was the best part of this whole experience.

Isabel TI really don't see how they can improve much I was in and out and had the truck I needed in less than 10 minutes the same was when I returned it about 5 minutes and I was on my way I would highly recommend this location the staff is courteous and everything seem to be routine I was very satisfied with the service I would recommend this place.

Alberto DA better system needs to be implemented in the return process for returning a rental with excess fuel. It feels like theft that there is no credit toward the rental. If it were returned with less fuel a surcharge would be expected, but for some reason a credit isn’t issued if there is more! Doesn’t make sense

Melinda DYou girls, refering to the Indio California Store off of Hwy 111, are the best. Everytime I get any rentals from there, the girls are multitasking, basically running the show. I say that with all due respect. I am a retired Marine and I know loyalty when I see it. A Job well done ladies. You have my RESPECT!!

DEANNE HClean the truck. And check the tires. They gave me a truck that was not safe to drive. Them I had to wait like 3 or 4 hour for them to fix the tires. I'm super lucky I didn't flip over on the truck.

They charged me for 40 miles over and the extra day. This after all that was promised by the local scheduling manager in Pleasanton CA.

Jessica LNot bill clients twice. Also fill up gas tanks so they can be returned that way. My truck was given at 1/4 tank. I drove 27 miles and put two gallons prior to return. Evidently that triggered a $50 charge which I might not have noticed if didn’t appear twice on my credit card statement. With a call I believe situation corrected but took time and prevented my saying renting wasn’t a excellent rating

SIDNEY BThe passage seat belt did not work. This was the second truck they gave us because the truck they were set to give us they put a hole in the gas tank. Then we had to wait for another truck. Then our car trailer the ratchet straps were broken so we had to wait around for those to be replaced I just do not understand why the truck and trailer were not ready when a reservation was for at noon and then I called to say we're going to be late and so they put it for 2:00 and it still was not ready. But having a seatbelt not work from California all the way to Minnesota is very dangerous. I believe we should get a discount for this

Paul MThe truck broke down on a California state highway after l traveling 90 miles of my 222 mile trip. There were no local services nearby & after sundown I was subjected to the dark, cold & windy desert weather with no food or restroom facilities. It took a total of 9 hours to finally get assistance & be towed to my destination at midnight. The staff at customer service & the tow company were very considerate & helpful, but the delay at management level was unacceptable. I incurred extra expenses due to the delay of my arrival & experienced emotional and extremely stressful frustrations due to the time frame involved resolving this issue. I am requesting a refund of my total payment & expenses incurred for this horrible xperience.

Storage is very large and easy to access. We love Indio uhaul! They have always been there for us when we needed a trailer and always very honest and helpful employees. Would recommend 100%! Oh and storage pricing... unbeatable!

Karine K | Overall ExperienceI reserved a storage unit online and surprised there was one available. Went to the facility after a long day of packing. I paid for the unit before even looking at it. We got to the unit and UHaul could not get “their” lock off. 3 employees have tried and myself included. They offered me a UBox and said yes your stuff would fit and after I paid for that and saw it. I just laughed. I got a refund on all the transactions hopefully. Spent 3 hours there and nothing was done. I give it to the staff for trying but I went over the miles on the rented truck what I was going to do looking for another storage unit. Very unhappy and spent more than what I was going to spend on miles, gas and my time. HOT TIP: make sure you look at the unit before you give them your credit card.
