I called the local dispatcher they sent out management who corrected the situation but I cannot state strongly enough how unacceptable this was and how I am not going to let it go.

Elizabeth KinnardMy original order for service was “cancelled “ the day before needed with a reason of “all three of vans at this site are being serviced “ I was offered service at another site with an additional mileage charge. When I asked the agent if I would be credited for the extra mileage her reply was “we don’t do that “. I chose a date 3 days later when a van was available at the original site. When I arrived to pick up the van, I tripped and fell on a misplaced entrance rug, dropping a container of cupcakes I was delivering to the person I was delivering an item for which I rented the van. The three people who came running offer no assistance after inquiring “are you all right?” I sat on the floor for a few minutes to get my wits about me to answer that “I don’t know” I managed to get myself up and asked them to either clean up the cupcake mess or get me something to do so. A female voice replied “I’ll get it”. A young man then asked after I walked to the counter and was inspecting my knees “ what are you here for?” I told him and he pulled up my reservation and asked for my drivers license , when I would have the van back, the number of miles I was going and then quoted me a price. I told him I was surprised that I was even being charged . He replied, “ Si are you gonna sue us”? I replied that I might if my knee was injured. He smirked at me, gave me my papers , key and told me where the van was. After I walked around lookin for unmarked damage and had opened the door to get in, he came running out yelling “I gave you the wrong van. You can’t take this one! Give me the key!” He then said “ I’ll bring out the key and paper for the right one bedside this one.,” pointing to a van right beside the one he was canceling. I did as instructed and walked around van number 2 inspecting it and contemplating canceling the whole thing when he returned with another key and set of papers. I opened the door and asked him to take the cardboard display from the front window as I am 5 feet 1 inch and knew it would be difficult to reach. He declined, saying “it has to stay with the vehicle,” I shook my head in total amazement. I managed to get it down and behind the seat before leaving on my errand that was 12 miles and took 1 1/2 hours. Still no inquiries about my well being. Done with this company.
Patricia MayesIt was a compounding nightmare that has yet to be resolved. I’ve talked to 4 different customer service reps to get the right reservation and after I turned in the vehicle I was billed wrong so now I have to connect with someone else in the next couple of days. Truck was clean though.

william hoffThese people down there have always been good to me they're very courteous well-mannered and they help you out even when you forget something they usually a little loan it to you I can't tell you how many times I've used them multiple multiple times their prices are okay I mean given if I would have to buy a trailer or do this or do that it would cost me a heck of a lot more so they're comparable. U-Haul is a good company at one time in my life I wouldn't have said that but they have always come to my aide and they've always gone out of their way to get me what I need Thanks U-Haul We always there when I need you.
Rose MeineckeWhen picking up my van the other evening, the gas tank lid door was open and the gas cap was off and I was there before that and had checked the gas when I turned on the vehicle the second time the gas was almost on empty so the gas was siphoned. I was very upset and that is why I did not put gas back into that vehicle Was very upset I shouldn’t even be charged for it

Susan LeguyaderThe bed if the cargo van had visible dirt. It should be been blown out with compressed air. Also the fuel qty was off by half a tank at rental..this could have been a big issue. Also the outside of the van was grindy and covered with black soot. These vehicles need to be cleaner and vitals more accurate.

brett andersonI felt the UHaul employee forced me to go get additional gas after I had already added enough to cover the short mileage I used the truck for. Additionally, she seemed to enjoy making me get back in the truck and go back to the same gas station again. The WORST customer service EVER; please look into some customer service training for the person!

Stephen MohrPlease check the equipment before renting it out. The door to the trailer was broken when rented to me. When I walked around to inspect it, I noticed the back door was stuck open. When I tried to close the door, I could not close it. The uhaul worker came and forced it closed. When I got back home, I tried to open the door and it would not open. I have a handyman at my house, who helped me to force the door open. I pay him hourly and it took us a good 30 minutes to fix the door to be able to close it again, so it costs me more to fix it than the rental of the actual trailer. Once the door was open, we were able to see that a roller on the door was bent sideways and causing the door to not roll. He was able to break the roller off so then the door would open and close again, but again, this cost me money since I pay him by the hour. The uhaul location is 30 minutes from my house and to drive it back and return it, then find a working trailer, would have costs me more time and money that I didn’t have. I did note no one looked at the back of the trailer when I dropped it off. I suspect the same happened when the previous person rented it.
Lisa CorbettAwful experience. Drove the truck for 53 miles and woke up to a charge of over $600 because someone put the wrong mileage in. Called for a refund and they put the correct amount for 53 miles but ended up charging me again for another $600 with a pending $1200 taken from my account. Like the guy said at the desk, "if you try to extend on the rental but doesn't work, its fine.". Ended up still being charged for another day even though they removed the dolly charge... because I dropped off the truck at 7:30pm. Insanely sloppy transaction and now I have $1200 pending in my account. Thanks.

Carla BainesUhaul check out for truck app down and unavailable even while in store Wi-Fi connected , told to take pictures of mileage and fuel level , upon return this location tried to add a 60.00 refueling fee until I showed them time stamped photos ( which I provided) , then I was overcharged for mileage used and they said only actual mileage would be charged ! (Never happened) , To make things even worse, they were unable to print out a receipt confirmation because their system wasn’t working (they said) then they said I would be sent a Email receipt….. this never occurred either ! I will forward all my documentation to the BBB . A scam operation for a few extra bucks at this location , truck was very nice , thank you !

mark doddGet better staff! I had an 8am pick up time, when I arrived there was nobody in the store, they were all out in yard. It was 8:15 by the time someone showed up and started to check me in. The truck only had a 1/4 tank of gas, when I said that was messed up I was told there are gas stations everywhere, deal with it. So by the time I left Uhaul it was 8:30am and I had to first stop and gas up before I could start my day. Because of this I was unable to keep my schedule for the day and had a few people upset with me that I was late with the truck. It was a bad start to my day thanks to Uhaul in Vancouver WA.

ANNE COWAN-CLEVELANDI used the mobile app and did not interact with anyone. Worked well and much better than standing in line for the morning rush. I did think the “cleaning charge “ that was initially added to my mobile check out was a bit sneaky. I questioned the charge and was then taken to another page to document cleanliness. Recommend adding a step/explanation on how to avoid cleaning charges before just adding it to the total charge. Thanks
