The ratchets on the trailer were very rusty and hard to work .. Almost unfonctional.. Had to grease them up to allow them to work, the straps were in poor condition... The trailer did not have the adaptor cable for 6 pin pick-ups ... The trailer brakes also did not seem to work... but other then that it worked well.

So poor customer experience. I reserved a 20 feet truck and a trailer. It took 30 minutes to get of the office. Then the truck was full of snow ! Then the assigne trailer was not in the park. I had to go back in the office. Waste another 15 minutes. Then the trailer was stuck between 2 other trailer. It took another 5 minutes to move it. I had give the uhaul employee a hand because he was not able to do it by himself. In short, a nightmare. 45 minutes to get out of there prior a super big moving day ! If there was a no star option = Very poor rating I would have chosen it. Honestly I was so angry in the office. The service was so bad that I would really appreciate a discount of any kind and not for another time since there will not be another time !

Première des choses, aucune communication, application, téléphone en français. Deuxième, la clé de mon camion n’était pas dans le casier au premier lieu de location. C as muon en tres mauvaise état. Freins et suspension fini, odeur de cigarette comme un cendrier… vraiment pas une bonne expérience.

Tout peut être amélioré. Ma réservation a été modifier 3 fois sans préavis. On m’avait donner un rabais vu qu’on devait ramaner le camion à l’endroit qu’on l’avais pris sa n’a pas été respecter. Au final nous avions choisit uhaul pour le faible coût et le fait qu’on pouvait le déposer n’importe où et nous avons eux rien de sa. En plus du manque de professionnalisme flagrant de la majorité des employés avec lesquels nous avons fait affaire. Très déçu de notre expérience et du stress ocassionne par celle-ci. C’était la première et dernière fois que je faisait affaire avec vous. Je ne recommande absolument pas l’experience.

I had a reservation at 10 a.m. for a 10 foot truck. I receive a call at 9 a.m. telling me that my truck will not be available with no other options. I had to push hard and beg for an alternative, finally I had the only option a pickup. I made 4 trips instead of one, paying more mileage and gas. Thanks U-Haul.

J'ai loué un camion 2 mois d'avance à chambly pour me faire dire la veille du jour J que le Uhaul chambly est fermé. Quelle manque de compétence et d'organisation à ce niveau. Puis la prise de posession fut interminable, longue file d'attente et lanteur acablante. Ça fait 3 fois que je loue au U haul St-Hubert et c'est toujours compliqué

Pricing isn’t right. On the return, had to wait about 1.5 hours. Sad because usually everything is fine. When I received the invoice, got overcharged. Should have been 19,96 x 2 days. Got billed much more. So I’m not happy about this one.

camion reservez depuis une semaine j'étais le 2iem a l'ouverture j'ai due attendre 25 Minute qu'on me trouve un camion le camion n'étais pas propre les couverture et le dooly deja utilisé de la veille **photo a l'appuie au ramassage du camion ** j'ai avisé le commis sur place le matin cela n'a pas empechez que on me charge ses item non utilisé par moi et bien l'autre avant moi j'ai du attendre un autre 10 minute pour sortir car jai du moi meme bougez un autre camion qui barrais le chemin l'apres midi au retour sevice inexistant on ma dit de laissez le camion la sans personelle faire la verification de retour avec moi donc je n'est pas eux la chance de redire une fois de plus que l'équipement courverture et dooly etais utilisé... utilisateur depuis 15 ans de vos service cette fois-si il serait difficile de faire pire et j'en suis triste....

The service at St-Hubert was really good and also the truck. The app didn't work on my Android enven tho I tried uninstalling and reinstall and I also tried changing the language of my phone to know if it worked in english, still didnt work... The website didn't work in french in any browser so I tried in english and it worked... So I decided to call someone to install the app on a iPhone to know if it worked and it did, please do some testing on your app and website, this was really awful and on the day of the move. Happily for us the people in St-Hubert where there before what was announced on the website and the service was really good.

I reserved a truck with two chariot/trolley. But they were not there when I arrived. Because of that moving my furniture was really complicated. Uhaul should tell in advance that they don't have the product they offer.

I returned the truck pretty much at the same level of gaz as I received it and was charged for extra gaz. The return experience was not pleasant I thought I could return after hours but there was no place I could leave the key with a lock. I had to have someone return the key the next day when the store was open. There wasn't an allowed place easy to see where to leave the truck, I just tried to find a place where it wouldn't be to much in the way.

the guy at the front office was so cold and avoid answering any questions, telling me that I can go on the website and look for the information, beside that he handed me they keys and asked me to go look for the truck, instead they should send somebody to go bring me the truck and do an inspection with me, and even explain to me basic things, I find the service very poor comparing to last time when I rented a truck from the same place.

Une agente a discuté avec moi d'un air agressif. J'ai remi le camion, j'ai juste demandé a qui je remets les clefs et verifier l'etat su camion, elle m'a dit: attendez dehors, il y'a quelqu'un la bas 😡 , un froid insupportable, je ne sais meme pas combien de temps je vais attendre. j ai eu une remorque accidenté et la fusible de mon camion brulais toujours ,j ai perdu 1 heures et quart chez vous pendant que 3 personnes attendais apres moi pour le déménagement. on m a dit que c étais mon camion car apres trois tentative d un employer avec sa batterie les lumieres allume alors apres 3 fusible j ai pu partir mais rendu sur place a plus de 30 km et a la noirceur je vient pour partir et encore pas de lumieres. J ai fini par trouver le probleme c étais dans l ail de la remorque qui étais accidenté le fil pour la lumiere de position étais arraché et dégainé et allais toucher le métal et fessais bruler ma fusible j ai perdu un autre heure la bas ,a cause de ca j ai du acheter une ralonge car j ai coupé la mienne et du aller chez mastervox l autre coté de la rue pour acheter des fusibles car vous en avez pas en succursale. j ai laissé la facture au responsable sur place c est pas beaucoup c est 12$ et meme pas repayé ma dépense et en plus j avais un dolly pour les électro ménagés dans le trailer qui n étais pas sur ma facture et que j aurais pu laisser chez moi mais je suis honnête et je vous l ai raporter personne sur place n étais au courant...alors j attendais la meme franchise de votre part a savoir que j avais une remorque défecteuse et a cause de ca j ai fait attendre 3 personnes qui étais la pour m aider pendant un total de 2 heurs et quart total pour rien et vous me facturez le montant total sans aucune gène .

I would never recommend this location to anyone including my worst enemy. First of all, all of the employees were talking while customers were waiting at the front desk. The lady who served me was everything but professional. First of all, her personal phone was on the counter. Which leads to answering personal communications while serving customers. Second of all, she doesn't understand who a driver's license (DL) is supposed to work. She asked me to confirm on the screen if the information were accurate. There was not one but TWO mistakes. Firstly the APT number was incorrect. The other one was the postal code (PC). When I told her the PC was incorrect, she then told me " oh I don't understand that's what my system is telling me." and made me repeat my PC about 3 times in a row. Which is totally understandable considering that it's a new construction. But I had to tell her multiple times that the one I have is the correct one since all of the other companies were using the one I was providing. With an attitude, she asked her colleague "what do I do with that"... I don't remember exactly what happened and how it was fixed, but they probably put my my OLD address. Speaking of the old address, I had to tell the lady that the most recent address could be AT THE BACK of the DL. When I asked her where the mattress cover I purchased online was (if it was in the truck or that I have to pickup myself), she wasn't sure about her answer at first and then told me that I have to pick it up (which was, by the way she said it, was really rude). As a former CSR and currently working in the Customer experience, I know that the image of the representative is the key of success for a company. Clearly this location DOES NOT have it. Next time I will for sure use : 1. Another location 2. Another method of onboarding 3. Another company ! Thank you.

Premièrement, l'app ne fonctionnait pas. Donc ma réservation de 8h30 est incorrecte. J'ai dû attendre 9h00 que le commerce ouvre pour avoir un camion. Il était très sale dans la boîte ainsi que côté conducteur pleins de miettes de nourriture. Je pensais que l'app 24/7 aurait été d'un grand secours. C'était l'enfer!! plus jamais!

I was over charged a months rent and not reimbursed. It was impossible to get in contact with the U Haul location after trying for 2 months. U Haul tried to overcharge me again and then I was finally removed as a tenant but have not been paid back the rent I was wrongfully charged.

Got a rep with attitude cause she could understand that I came in last month to fix a double payment on one of my two lockers that I wanted to pay both for the month a head. Thing is there was a glitch on there own website when I got to pay the second locker it prepaid the same one again! Could undo it and had to waste a couple of hours to drive to, wait and explain everything to the clerk at the counter that she had to remove the late fees do to all this nonsense! Back to square one a month later, Secondly, at first visit my wife found mousetraps on second floor hallways that made us second guess storing all of our valuable belongings here. Now yesterday we installed mousetraps and not 24hrs later we caught one in our locker on the second floor!! Manager gave me one month free on one locker but let’s get real here if we get mouse crap 💩 all over, my two 3500$ leather sofas and 1000$ mattresses get mouse wholes all over it’s not a one 206$ free month that will cover anything!! Should look elsewhere for storage!! Install LED lighting in lockers, it’s pitch dark! Garage door access impossible to back a trailer flush to, with there parking lot layout and multiple levels make moving furniture and appliances difficult even on the first floor! Second floor accessibility by stairs only!

The date shows I left emptied the storage on April 4. This is INCORRECT. I emptied the storage unit 1077 at 2771 Rue Mance in Saint Hubert on March 11. It was a busy day that day so I did not go to the counter to confirm storage unit1077 was emptied but i did call on march 25 to confirm. I was then told I would receive a confirmation but did not and then I was sent a bill + late charges on April 3. I have called numerous times to receive this confirmation but NO ONE at The 2771 Mance location EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I have records of my calls on the dates outlined and even audio recordings. i am frustrated with this situation. While the facilities were fine, the management is very irresponsible and the customer service is seriously lacking. I am a good client of U-Haul but have wasted a lot of time with this negligent behavior. All I have requested for weeks now is a confirmation that the unit was emptied on time, which it was and that no further charges would be incurred.

trucks were almost always blocking the access to my storage unit, ok occasion the printer didnt work and the employee made it difficult to receive a copy of my receipt by email, i had complained about trucks blocking the access to my storage unit but this complaint only seemed to make things worse as they were parking the trucks at zero distance from the unit with no room to walk. Overall, was a disappointing experience unfortunately

First of all, Compared to other store places you guys over charge. Second, my credit card expired and i received a new one and it slipped my mind me calling you guys to update. So since your people took down my phone number wrong, I never received any calls regarding my payments. No emails until the final one saying my stuff was gonna be auctioned. Nearly lost all my stuff and then had to pay months worth of late fees. Not Impressed. Will never use your storage nor ever recommend it to anyone. Good day.

The storage unit had holes in the roof and leaked water over all of my belongings for 18 months. When I opened the door everything was covered in black mold. Most of my furniture was priceless antiques, well over 150 years old. I was crushed, I had to get rid of my clothes, linens, furniture, anything that wasn't ceramic or stainless was destroyed completely. Dont ever store your precious belongings at a U-Haul.

J'ai coché oui pour la recommandation à un ami car mes affaires étaient en sécurité mais je lui dirai quand même les points faibles de ce U-haul et il fera son choix car j'ai dû appeler tellement de fois et envoyer un courriel de ma boite de messagerie u-haul mais je n'ai pas eu de reponses. Toutes mes choses étaient couvertes d'urine et de crottes de souris. Quand j'ai ouverts mes boîtes, il y avaient des crottes de souris en dedans. Les souris ont mangé mes meubles, chier partout dans les boîtes. Le pire c'est que lorsque j'ai trié mes choses en jetant 1/3 de mes possessions chéris dans la poubelle, et j'ai déménagé ce que j'ai gardé dans mon appartement, il y avait des souris vivant dans mes boîtes!! Donc je suis enragée et traumatisée par rapport à cela et je ne recommenderais JAMAIS cette service. ====================================================== All my things are covered in rat droppings. The rats ate through my furniture and boxes, leaving poop all through my things. I sorted through my stuff to throw out 1/3 the ruined things and most damaged stuff. When I moved my stuff out of the storage into my apartment, their were live rats inside a box!!! Do NOT rent storage in this disgusting facility.

Pire expérience ... Toutes mes boîtes ont été rongées par des souris (ou un autre rongeurs que je ne connaîs pas !?! ) , toutes mes boîtes ont des excrément de ces bestioles. Mon divan blanc en plume d'oie doit être jeter. On ne parle pas du service INTERMINABLE, attendre plus d'une heure en ligne pour du service... Et de plus, j'ai vidé mon local deux jours après le début du mois à payer et u-haul ne rembourse pas au les journées non-utilisées, entre vous et moi, c'est du vol ! Vous devriez faire quelque chose pour améliorer la situation car juste en ligne d'attente TOUS les gens étaient dépassés par le service médiocre. Je ne recommanderai plus jamais u-haul. < Marie-Ève

Access to the storage is often blocked by parked trucks and in the winter he area is unsafe because of the lack of salt being used to de-ice the areas leading to the storage area.
