VALERIU TALMACIThey forced me to take the insurance. I declined, but noticed they added them to the invoice. I had to argue for 10 minutes with 2 employees to get the charge reversed. This is a dishonest practice, and false advertising. You cannot advertise 19.99 + km when in fact it is 39.99 + km with the mandatory insurance. I rented multiple times prior and declined insurance with no issue. They tell me this is a new policy. However, when I booked online, it allowed me to decline the insurance... I'm thinking of making a formal complaint to BBB and consumer protection due to this unacceptable practice.

PAUL ANDREStaff were nice when paying however upon asking questions to be helpful after paying for unit extra lock wasn’t removed after I requested it and when asked why they told me to go in the front o complain instead of helping. They were extremely rude and racist to say the least. And definitely not accountable for going into my locker and removing an item I was transferring to a smaller unit. That’s aid I paid over $150 for a storage unit and they took out my item without asking me and did not reply to my emails regarding this.

The employees here clearly hate their jobs and look annoyed serving you. The first employee on pickup asked me for documentation that was never asked before and the second employee on drop off also gave me a hard time because I parked the truck in the back... he made me bring it back myself even though I was exhausted from moving + driving over 140 km. Also to note the truck had an extra mile on it when I picked it up but the employee fixed it when I told him, hence the extra star in my review.

Nous avions une réservation, le prox indiquer etait de 109$ avant les taxes et 48 km d’utilisation, l’employé nous a chargé 120$ avant taxes et 30 km. Nous avons du attendre 1h pour avoir nos 48 km comme promis lors de la reservation mais pour 160$. Cetait horrible comme expérience.

When I arrived there it was closed, I had to call back U-haul for a different location, that made me late for my delivery and extra km on the truck. Second time having a bad experience with U-haul. U-haul of 1155 autoroute Chomedey are not at fault they were very good and professionnal upon arrival, took only 2mins to have the truck.

Normand Jauronalthough the facility to warehouse our items was appropriate, there were a few issues that needed to be addressed. For one thing, the reservation we made for the truck to transport our items to their "final" destination was switched from the rental place in Laval to the one on Brunswick in DDO reason being apparently because the return location was in St-Hubert. It did not make sense to us as our items were warehoused in Laval!! When we asked if they would take responsibility for the extra KM's to drive back to Laval to pick up our items, they said no. They finally change the location to pick up the truck to Laval. Blankets to cover items were wet as they had been put on the floor. Floors were a bit slippery as it was covered with water. All in all, a good experience except for those few issues.

anthony cioffiFirst of all, many thanks to the Manager and his colleague Keita that did try to help me when the truck Got stuck on the base ground ( Next to uHaul Chomedy, exactly on the exit lane of VERTI STORE). I have requested roadside assistance, the first agent was so disappointing and misinformed, he wanted me to pay 415$ to get roadside assistance for a fault that is NOT supposed to be mine. The truck Hitch ball was too low that it got stuck on the ground. After calling again, the NEW agent ( Can't remember her name), but thanks to her, I was able to spend the rest of the day peacefully.. She confirmed that roadside assistance is FREE of charge because it was NOT a false maneuver, but rather the truck was too low. After spending 5 hours with my family stuck on that lane, roadassistance arrived, pulled the truck to the front, solving the issue in only 2 minutes. Brief: I would have stopped using and recommending uHaul if I would have paid 415$ for that roadside assistance. And by this I mean, when the agent is well trained and experienced, the customer is thrilled. Sincerely Sofiane

Ceci devrait apparaitre dans l'historique de location d'un fidèle client depuis 4 ans. Heureusement que l'expérience du gérant à su compenser le manque d'expérience de l'employé et qu'il a pu régler le problème rapidement à la satisfaction du client

Patrice Provost | Overall ExperienceMy only complaint about the time we had this locker was there were 3 instances where we could not reach our locker. 1st instance - the elevator was broken for nearly 1 week. 2nd instance (10/17/2023)- the floor immediately in front of our unit had been resurfaced. We could reach the floor but not out unit 2110. 3rd instance (10/19/2023) - 2 days before moving out, the floor in front of the elevator at the 2nd floor was being resurfaced. In this case, we had rented a truck and hired staff to help transport our equipment. We needed to reschedule and rent a 2nd truck and pay additional hours to the staff. In all 3 instances, it would have been appreciated if some communication to locker tenants so we could have made our plans accordingly. We understand that maintenance is important, and we can see by the premises that it is well maintained. It is simply the lack of communication that led to our frustrations. The remainder of our stay was excellent.

Ensuitre quand je suis arriver sur place on ma dit que la raison du 10$ de difference c'est a cause qu'il y a un beam en plein milieu de l'uniter donc rend les chose plus difficile pour entré le materiel. J'ai donc louer un entreposage 5x10 sans beam a 144$ pour etre certain de ne pas perdre de temps vu que mon déménagement continuais sans moi pendant que j'entreposais le restant de mes chose. Pour me rendre compte apres 2 frigo et une laveuse et secheuse que l'uniter avait 4 x 9 et non 5x10 et donc que mes choses ne rentrerais pas .... fallu cherche qqun dautre et argumenter avec eux car les gens étais sceptique de mes propos malgré mon tape a mesure avec moi par la seul cause que l'uniter dans le system etais classer dans 5 x 10... il a fallu visiter 3 autre storage avant d'en trouver une sensiblement proche de la realiter de 4 pied 6 pouces .... que mes chose allait entrer a l'interieur ... c'est bien car je devais ABSOLUMENT entreposer mes choses a ce moment la et n'ayant plus de camion que jai du continuer malgré mon 2h de retard sur mon horaire... fausse representation, surtout apres mavoir montrer le demo dans l'entrer qui lui etais le SEUL qui faisait réellement 5x10

At the end of the workers shifts, one of your staff was driving the trucks to the lot at reckless speeds while people including myself were walking back and fourth to put stuff in storage. This same employee was also driving at reckless speeds in his personal car when he finished his shift through the area where customers walk in to put stuff in storage and was drifting on his way out of the lot. I was actually scared he was going to hit me because he swerved a little. I don’t know what his name is but he is the same guy who assisted me to get my unit at the counter. He has long hair and he is Arab. Possibly Lebanese but I’m not sure. I’ll be cancelling my storage unit and moving my stuff out for obvious reasons. If there are any cancellation speeds, They better be waved or we are going to have a problem.

Les employés sont totalement PERDU que ce soit au niveaux des informations donné a la réservation qu'à la location même. Réservé un trailer pour se faire rappeler et demander d'apporter des fillages de connections pour les feux arrière car ils manquent de produits suite à des non-retour. Feux arrière ne fonctionne pas sur PLUSIEURS remorques. Après 3 heures de total perte de temps a l'entrepôt nous avons abonné la réservation et ce faire rembourser. JE NE RECOMMANDE A PERSONNE DE PERDRE DU TEMPS AVEC EUX... EN PLUS DES PRIX EXORBITANTS.

We cannot have the storage room acces code directly online like for the truck and it is specified no where that we have to go in agency before acessing to the storage room for the first time. I thought the point of having a website was to be able to access to everything without need to go in agency. Marketing might want to review the on boarding process for the storage room. Also vendor need training, they do not know the online process. I asked to three different workers and none of them could respond to my questions. The app is working well on the browser but not as an android app. I would recommend it to a friend but not the online solutions you offer.

For example, if customer already emptied his unit, client could send online notification to manager or whoever responsible instead of running after a clerk and/or manager to follow up. We had to pay another month because the clerk failed to inform manager that we no longer need unit. This creates a lot of frustration. Besides that, it’s all good.

Le jeune homme qui a pris ma réservation n'a pas écouté quand j'ai fait ma réservation j'ai demandé un casier 5x7 pour gros electros le temps de remplir la réservation J'avais 2 déménageurs qui attendait à l'extérieur moyennant des $$$ une fois les papiers terminé et le temps de trouvé le casier le commis est arrivé pour me donner mon casier qu'elle surprise casier 5x7 avec porte de 4 pieds pas très utile pour 5 gros electros par conséquent perte de temps et d'argent pour refaire le changement de casier à un coût beaucoup plus élevé et espace perdu. J'ai remarqué le temps que j'étais au comptoir que 3 clients était insatisfait pour des raisons différentes 2 au comptoir et un au téléphone Je sais dû à la pandémie que les Entreprises sont en manquent d'employés mais peut-être prendre plus de temps pour les former. Malgré se désagrément je suis que convaincu que vous êtes tous dévoué à votre travaille. Juste une meilleure formation et plus d'écoute au besoin du client. Merci et Bonne journée Pour la recommandation de votre Établissement jusqu'à se jour vous étiez une référence pour moi. Mais j'avoue aujourd'hui que je vais vérifier d'autres entreprises avant de prendre ma décision et vous référer.

J’ai dû remettre les boites dans mon auto et retourner à l’autre bout du bâtiment prendre un cadenas, retourner à l’arrière du bâtiment, ressortir les boites de mon auto et retourner au local avec mon cadenas. L’employé qui est venu ouvrir le local, n’était pas utile du tout. Na pas voulus aller chercher un cadenas pour m’aider, me l’laisser passer par la porte de service pour que je n’ai pas à faire le tour et parler affreusement le français. Pas sociable et plaisante.

This is my 3rd poor experience with U-Haul because of its systems problems. If you can't get that resolved you will loose a LOT of clients. I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone until you have this issue resolved.

We reserved a storage to have the free month but when we called to change the date, the agent over the phone told us the reservation was never done. We went back to speak to the same agent, he was able to give us the free month storage. We paid for the lock and we walked all th way to the back to see the locker and put the lock. It was raining a lot that day. When we got to the locker, we realized that the locker was locked so we had to walk all the way back in the rain to let the agent know. It was almost 7pm (closing time). If we wouldn’t have checked before closing time, we would’ve not been able to ask him to open the lock to access our locker. If the employee knew that he had to remove a lock before we could access the locker, why didn’t he advise us? He saw us going outside, he knew we wanted to go see it, so why didn’t he tell us that he needed to open the lock first? Very disappointed.

Les clients ne se servent pas de leur carte d'accès de la bonne façon. Ils ne signifient pas leur présence, alors quand ils ouvrent leur unité, l'alarme se déclenche. Vous devriez leur expliquer un peu mieux le fonctionnement de la carte. Merci!

Recycling/exchanging area is a great, original idea!! Improvements needed: More chariots would be appreciated; most families need more than one when moving in, so when we arrived, no charriots were available for about 20 minutes. There is only one lift, so there was a small line-up: not too bad though, because the lift is quite large. Entering and exiting process is somewhat confusing - there is a risk of making the alarm go off or getting locked out if not operated properly: this needs to be improved (too much risk of false alarms and other errors). Recycling/exchanging area was closed, and we could not find any instructions on how to use it, either on site or on the web.

When I signed up for the storage I signed all the papers including the withdrawal from my bank account. I asked Mrs. Mine politely just to send me the invoices with the GST and PST which waas never done. When I came to cancel the storage yesterday the 29 of June 2020 I asked the person at the deest for all the invoices with GST and PST and he did it very politely for me. My accountant was after me to get these proper invoices. Why was it so difficult for Mrs Mine to do this for me? Some employees just don't care to serve the client properly. Je suis donc allée en personne et encore là ,les employés se crissaient de moi ben raide. je demande pour 2 lockers 10' x 10' .... pas de souci, le gars m'arrange ça .. je repars eb me dirant "bon enfin," et aujourd'hui en lisant mon contrat, je me rends compte qu'il ne m'a réservé que 1 locker .... sérieux !!!!!!!!! J'ai rappelé, ça fait maintenant 20 minutes que je suis en ligne et ce n'est pas réglé... À quel point est-ce compliqué de louer un locker chez-vous ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? plus jamais....
