BOBBY ETell people about the dolly rental fee, and the environmental fee, I was not explained that, also go over the receipt and charges rather than telling the customer we will email you a receipt. I feel let down there was not 100% transparency for ALL of the fees involved. All in all not a bad experience.

LANCE RMade a reservation online. On arrival she tried to overcharge us and changed our drop off location without our approval.
Gerard MGood place for hitch installation. However, the store is unmanned, so the installation can take the whole day. Mr. Richard was very helpful and did a great job on the hitch installation.

WILLIE HGive the proper return address up front. Don’t change it upon delivery to the initially listed address. Plus, I was charged a $25 cleaning fee for unknown reasons.

LANCE RDrove the truck for 40 miles. Put 4 gallons of gas in the vehicle before I returned it. Then after leaving the store was charged for gas. BS show. I will not be back.

ROSALIND JWorst experience ever. Started off by the rudest confirmation phone call from Richard the day before pickup. I ignored that and was going to give the location another try the next day. Supposed to pick the truck up at 7 am. We got there about 7:10 am due to a wreck and traffic. We walked into the store which was open and unlocked but could not find anyone there. We sat there about 15 minutes before we finally called the number on Richard’s card. He answered and said he’d be there in 15-20 minutes. We waiting for him to arrive while sitting in the unlocked/unmanned store. He ended up showing up at 8 am. 1 hour after our time we booked the truck. When he arrived, he was so rude and made terrible comments. If possible, I will NEVER use this location again and I will definitely let everyone I know about this terrible experience.

angelo PRichard the guy who worked there was SO RUDE! First, he called the day before and was so rude to me. He was making comments that were not appropriate. Then when we got to pickup the uhaul, our pickup time was scheduled for 7 am. We showed up at 7:10 due to a wreck. The door was unlocked so we walked in the store. We waited 15 minutes and no one came then we realized no none was in the store so we found his business card and called his cell. He answered and said he’d be there in about 15-20’mins. So we waited and he finally showed up at 8 am! I was furious so I didn’t say anything and let my husband do the talking. He was so rude throughout the entire process. I’ll never go here again if I can help it!
Seth PThe general manager RICHARD MARSHALL was absolutely HORRIBLE. The man was the rudest man i have ever met. His tone, his attitude, his facial expressions. He was combative…The man literally said “don’t ask me to help you load anything bc it’s NOT WE-HAUL, ITS YOU HAUL!!!!! I almost lost my mind on this terrible person. Then the truck i was renting was all the way back by a dumpster and in a flooded area so my shoes were SOAKED during the whole drive. He should NOT be in charge nor facing customers. I will NEVER refer someone to this location. I almost have a mind to go back up there and teach him some manners!
Christopher LNeed to be able to return the trailer to another location. Couldn't find it locally so so had to make a 150 mile round trip just to return it
terry nI have rented from this location many times since 2011 when we moved into this area after retirement. The service was great then and is still great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The long time manager and another staff member for the last couple of years was training a new staff member. As a former leader and manager who hired and trained new personnel, they were the most professional, providing expert training that was not belittling or embarrassing for the new staff member. I have seen it done totally wrong and here I saw it totally right. The Manager, Richard has a handle on all aspects of the operation.
Michael SThe after hour return process is not easy with the app. I had a hard time getting pictures of the odometer so y'all charged me an additional 12 bucks.
Misty hI wish there was more then one employee working. Richard did a great job installing my hitch but had to keep stopping the install to help customers. Uhaul charged me .8 hours labor but the job took over 3 hours because all the customers he had to help.
Richard BWas over charged Returned truck on time at 430 Was charged $20 fee for after hours! Was not after hours ,they close for 430!!

jack rThe truck was clean but the gear shift was about to fall off. The representative was rude & eating a bag of chips the entire time she was checking us in. A key to the lock for the back of the truck wasn’t even provided to us. I’d expect more for how much it costs.
Henry WThe Manager was the only one there. He had to take care of filling propane bottles and etc. He would come and have to take care of other customers while trying to install hitch. I was also charged for a ball and receiver which I did not get. He told me that he would refund it to my debit card which he has not done. I will not be recommending this Uhaul location. He is a thief and not a friendly person.
Raymond DThe gentleman at the Barksdale Blvd Uhaul installed the wiring poorly which caused it to blow the fuse and consequently the tail lights on the trailer didn't light up. (The wiring cable was pinched which exposed the wire.) I had to have it repaired the very next day at a different Uhaul location. On a positive note, Uhaul did compensate me for the inconvenience so that was a good.

Linda BWhen I first called the Barksdale location in Bossier City LA I was offered a deal that if I rent a U-haul That I could get one month of free storage. Once I arrived I asked the customer service agent in store about the offer in he assured me before & after payment since had to give me the location for the said free storage. When I contacted customer service for the free storage I was told that I did not qualify unless I was moving out of town which was never at any point explained by the agent at the store location. I end having to pay for storage which cost me a 110 dollars that I was not expecting to have to pay since my storage unit was suppose to be free. When I called the location I had visited to obtain the U-haul from the day before I explained everything to a female agent there she couldn't be more chalant about my current dilemma in said to me mam that is not our deal with an attitude I informed her that the young fellow in the store told me that I would have free storage in the amount for my U-haul would me $39.98 which I also end up paying $90.00 almost $100 dollars so the amount total end up being $190 plus an extra 15 for the admission fee for the store total $205.00 bottom line there was lies told no one cared that they had lied just to get a sale & also did not help for my inconvenience. In the whole time salesman was talking agent whomever I could barley understand what he was saying so I just paid so I could get a truck to go because I had a certain time frame to get everything done.

raymond dEverything went pretty well. Fast pickup , and easy drop off. Also , there's an abundance of boxes , tape,and other supplies to help your move go smoother. Hot summed day, walk in to a cold building. Pretty sweet. Thanks Richard.

Regis RWhen I drop the trailer off, I was told to drop it at that address, but the paperwork said down the road further and he told me he would send me an email within 10 minutes. He did not do that and he made y’all have to call me and asked me where was the trailer and I don’t agree with that. When you tell you say you gonna do something you do it are you tell somebody why you could not do it anyway thank you.
