the place was very clean and you can tell it is taken care of. it was very easy to get a unit and just as easy to close it when i no longer needed one. as a person who doesn't like to deal with people i loved the fact that i was able to get a unit and close it without seeing one person. 10/10 WILL rent from them again when i need another unit.

In spite of my good rating on most items, I did not appreciate being forced to move with no good (for me) alternative. I also didn't understand my auto-pay being canceled without my knowledge resulting in a late payment notice. I did appreciate the handling of my last monthly rental fee!

Shortly after U-Haul took over, our storage unit lock was "accidentally" cut off. None of the staff thought it was important to contact us or let us know. The next time we went to our unit, the lock was changed and we could not get in. Our entire life was in there, as we were in the process of moving. We called the office and was told "There is a little note here that it was cut off." No one would come meet us at the unit and give us a new lock and key. We had to drive 20 minutes to go get it ourselves at the office. Highly disappointed with the entire situation and how it was handled. For such a secure facility we are not quite sure how our lock "accidentally" was cut off and changed. When we were able to clean the entire unit out and ready to be done with the unit in October, we called and were told that day we could be out and we would not longer be charged and would receive our deposit back in a few business days. Fast forward now to December, and we were still being charged for it and never received our deposit. 10/10 will not recommend to anyone. Highly disappointed.

I have been a client at this Shady Lane location almost since day one & always paid on time with auto pay but now, all of a sudden Uhaul will not accept outdoor storage. Very unfortunate & not very accommodating to its clients. I was told this was a corporate decision & nothing could be done by the general manager. I have had to make other arrangements.

Ever since u haul took over you can tell every decision about the facility is to crame more people in and make more money. not caring about the customers already there or making the experience the best.

We were pleased w the existing facility. However, your decision to generate more revenue by dividing into tiny units would not serve our needs. If someone needed a tiny unit, we would recommend this facility.

Keep raising prices.. $1500 a year is too much!! Short term storage like a month or two at these prices might be okay but longer commitment should have better rates period. I won't play the game anymore. Thank you though!! Just my honest opinion. Best regards

The facilities are great. Clean and secure but the app to open the gate has issues once in a while. One time I was locked out and another time I was locked in waiting for someone else to open it. This happened on a weekend and no one answered the phone. I wish you kept a key pad at the gate as a failsafe as I don’t trust apps for these types of things.

I got a free month with a truck rental. I previously had things stored in another uhaul customers unit on the property and really enjoyed the security and not having to worry about my belongings. Well now that I got my own unit when I showed up at the property I didn't have access to open the Gate or main entrance on the app. The gate was open so I entered not knowing I didn't have full access at the time. Well once inside the gate it closed behind me. I opened the app and tried to refresh it hoping the main entrance option would be there. It was not. I had to call uhaul to see what was going on which the office to my location was closed. Uhaul told me I needed to contact them because they could not access anything to let me into my unit. Here I was denied access to MY unit because the other uhaul customer I had things stored with was past due on their rent. They told me it still tied me to them so I was being denied and they would have to look into it on Monday. How is their rent past due my problem? So far I am very unsatisfied and I am rethinking my decision with storing my belongings with them.

I started out only needing 1 unit. I eventually ended up needing 3 for a few months. Everyone I came in contact with was very helpful and accommodating. Customer service was EXCELLENT! The facility itself was impressive! Very clean, well maintained and state of the art. I had both drive up and climate controlled units. Location was very convenient for me. I would definitely recommend this facility.

Conflicting hours between Uhaul, the website, and the security app. No clear answer. They give you a redundant access code with nowhere to input the code in and the facility entrance is gated. Don’t think Uhaul is aware of there not being a keypad to enter the code in as I didn’t use the access code even once but that was the only instruction I was given under “Access Instructions”. Turns out, this is all powered by a security app remote that they don’t tell you about until hours after you sign the contract and you randomly receive a link to download it. This process is extremely slow for move-in online customers and needs to have much more clarification off the bat and correct instructions. I chose an indoor climate controlled unit, and I had to constantly use the app to keep unlocking and opening the automatic main entrance doors while moving my stuff in, and I found that to be very frustrating and inconvenient. Poor communication, I contacted a Uhaul representative after hours because I was having trouble getting into the facility (before I received the link to the remote app), they told me that they messaged the General Manager. It is now 2 days later and I have not received a follow up from the facility or Uhaul to make sure I was able to get in. It’s a good thing I was able to figure it out myself. If I have to note a positive, it is very clean and secure, and they provide carts to use for unloading and moving. The smart security app is a nice feature to unlock and secure your unit.

The first thing i noticed was how clean it was. i mean not a single piece of trash in sight. My favorite part is how i can open the gate with my phone. Super convenient not having to get out of my truck to use a keypad just to jump back in to drive 30 feet to my unit. When i went to check the unit for the first time i opened the door and seen a lock on the floor for me to use. i didn't know that we get a free lock....AWESOME! Hands down one of the nicest places to rent from. I am more than willing to pass the word around on this place to anyone looking to rent a storage unit from them.

I love the ability to use the NoKe storage unit app and the ability to share access with other people on a limited basis. That worked so perfectly. I appreciated the clean, well-lit units. The huge parking area and/or driving area is very convenient. And I appreciated the automatic payment option so I didn’t have to worry about making a payment each month. Thank you!

The move in process was very confusing. I was not informed that there was no key pad to get entry into the grounds or unit. The email was not clear and the information was misleading. There also was no carts to help me with the larger pieces of furniture. To say the least my first experience here was not very pleasant.
