I was redirected to this location which was great. The Silverado Road location in Reno was not the same experience. The Hispanic man with glasses who worked at that location told me to “go somewhere else” because “I wanted to throw a little tantrum” and said this in front of a host of customers, humiliating me. I had not raised my voice or spoken inappropriately. I was attempting to navigate the differences between my reservation and what he stated was not available. His temper and disrespect was incredibly hurtful and disrespectful. He refused to identify himself, insisting “he was at the top” and allowed me to believe he was Miguel the general manager instead of owning his actions after I said I would be contacting customer service.

As I was departing I told the manager and an employee that this U-Haul location was by far there cleanest and most well run of any of the locations I have used in the past. It was well worth the additional miles I drove to get there. You should be proud of these personnel. My pleasure doing business with this company and I shall return to this location if in need of your services !

please tell customers about the "tow/haul" switch on the trucks. This is a real inconvenience to new drivers and uses more gas and higher RPMs. Educate your customers before they leave the yard.

Poorly trained and stupid attendant. Thought a dirt spot on inside of truck was “oil”… didn’t have anything but clothes and glass dishes in the thing. Wanted me to pressure wash the truck or charge me! I roared and she gave me the stupid lecture on “check your truck before you drive away”… I DID and saw the dirt …so what? It’s a truck… not a table for food serving. I rubbed my finger on the spot… dry old dirt spot ..no oil smell even … makes moving even more miserable. Her boss was arrogant and rude so lousy experience!

The van was clean enough, except for the windows (windshield plus driver and passenger windows). The inside of all the windows were worse than the outside. It's like they had been 'cleaned' with a dirty rag. I had to clean all the windows, both inside and out, before driving the vehicle very far.

The app is okay, but the check-in/check-out process with all the picture taking was tedious, if not outright broken completely. I would take the requested pictures only to have them deleted by the system every time I would submit them. I was unable to fully return my truck online because app wouldn’t accept any photo submissions

The lady working behind the counter was very rude and had a very bad attitude. I had issues with the app to verify the truck. And I was asking her a question and her response was to take my own f***ing pictures For my record. And because of her how rude she rude she was, i will go to a different location.

Make the online reservation a quicker process when arriving at location employee was on a personal call the whole time complaining about people coming in. Also I got pulled over because the trucks tail lights were out and the driver door wouldn’t close. Maybe do a better check after each use

This location is typical of most rental businesses, with equipment semi organized around the yard. Appears that employees are allowed to park in spaces that should be reserved for customers. The trailer I rented had probably six used Kleenex in the back along with some other loose debris that blew out as I drove to my destination. The person working the counter when I checked in, appeared to be very knowledgeable about the process's, as she needed to explain information to another associate. She was however a total bitch and a half and very rude during the entire rental process, and while connecting the trailer to my vehicle. I will avoid this rental location for future needs, and will not recommend this location to anyone.

Well, for starters I am being OVERCHARGED and fully intend to follow up with the place asap/ later on today or sometime this week. They were not as courteous as they could be upon my return and seemed confused by my contract. It seemed my contract was extended yet it wasn’t because the paper print out I have specifically said on the 19th; I was unable to return the truck on the specified time on 19th - however, when I called and spoke to a man who answered on the 18th and asked if I could return later on 19th I was told that it’s fine and no incurring charge would be rendered due to this. I couldn’t do it due to work obligations and time constraints. This is frustrating and now on my online banking it appears they wanna charge me in total over 200 dollars for two days and I brought it back with a full tank (after a slight misunderstanding there) and cleaned up the truck as is required. This is preposterous and absolutely ridiculous and I intend to speak with someone about this very soon. All of this has just added and compiled more stresses that I am already experiencing due to moving and they need to be professional and courteous to those giving them their business in a polite manner, I’m js because this is just bad-bad-bad. The truck was clean on the outside. The trailer was really dirty with caked sand. The straps to secure my car were so gritty that I could barely use them. The sand made it near impossible to release the tension. The pick up and drop off was very efficient. I will use u haul again when needed.

Organized, clear instructions, the guy was very nice and acknowledged the vehicle was damaged. He pointed out where there was damage inside of the truck. I would really appreciate if someone followed up with me about this so I may file a claim for my damaged items

The young lady processing the transaction at the front counter was not very focused! She would stop and listen to conversations the other employees were having right in the middle of helping us! She never smiled once during our transaction with her. When she drove the rental truck to the front of the store she was driving too fast! She hit the overhead canopy pole and knocked a sign off the pole! Two of your other employees come running out of the store to see if she was okay! Upon returning the truck the young man helping us was very professional and nice!

Do the work completely. I had a hitch installed and they forgot to give the ball until I asked. Then they installed a brake controller which was never powered on, so I had to take the car somewhere else to finish the work. Not recommend.

Blonde girl at the countercwas extremely rude. " go backbto the truck and wait, someone will be with you." She came out shortly after, made no eye contact, proceeded to check the truck. I wanted to discuss the blankets I had rented, but she would not stop and listen kept walking as I was trying to talk to her. I said " when you are ready to listen, I will talk to you. She then said "you are good to go". So I left. I do not expected to be charged for the blankets as she was not interested in hearing anything from me. I will not be using this location again.!

This is the best UHaul location in Reno, Nevada. If you are seeking short-term, or even long term storage, I would greatly recommend the UBox. Upon opening my box, everything was in perfect order.

I will never use or recommend UHAUL again. One single reason. John Hernandez. The boxes arrived at UHAUL 5/4. No attempt was made to contact me until 5/17. I had to call UHAUL. There more but no room.
