I advised Uhaul that I would be cleaning out my unit in September 2023, I have used Uhaul equipment in the past to move, and everybody was very friendly and helpful, when it came time for me to move out of my storage unit I cleaned it out and I left my account with a credit card on file so I could use other equipment to move rest of my items. I told Uhaul that my storage unit was cleaned out and they kept charging me two extra months so I have remove my credit card and cancel my account and I will be using other equipment with the other companies to move rest of my items . They Naomi over $160 and I’m sure they’re not gonna pay.

Had the worst customer service experience ever. Went to the facility to close my unit. Was still charged for the following month. When I called, no one answers the phone, when someone does answer, I was put on hold. And they never picked up my call. I had to call the corporate office to express my concerns. I am hoping I get a refund back. The associates at the facility had no recollection or record of me coming in to close my unit. They said they went by my unit and saw that it was empty. But, they didn't do anything about it. I should have never been charged again.

No one told us that the unit was unmanned so we were stuck there waiting for an hour for someone to show up at the office. We were told we would be able to park the U-Haul truck there and we were not so we had to bring it to our Airbnb and park it on the street until we found a separate parking facility. They would not allow us to park their own truck and pay for the spot at any of the local locations around here as we were told. When I tried to check out of both the parking spot and the storage building I was hung up on twice. At some point I talked to customer service and they put a note on my account. After speaking finally with someone from the local office they said they moved me out and I don't owe anything. A week later we and my parents got letters stating that we owe late fees. The whole thing was a terrible experience.

My property was damaged and broken into and I was told I had to go home and file a police report and that your company couldn't and wouldn't do anything. I was told there was no way to file damages on my trailer with your company. I will NOT be recommending your storage facilities ever again. Twin Cities and 40th st uhaul offices and locations in Springdale, AR.

The first unit I reserved required checking in at a different location. I switched to a more expensive one so I could check in online and save myself time on moving day. When I got there, my access code let me in the gate but not the building. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone through the phone numbers listed even though it was during normal office hours when the building should have been unlocked anyway. I finally got in the building and found out the lock provided was at a different facility! The whole reason I’m spending more money was for the convenience of staying in one place. There is nothing convenient about the online check-in.

Old, rundown place renting to scary, trailer trash people. Would never recommend this place! Springdale has become a horrible, unsafe community. We had to move because of break-in effecting our unit and needed time to completely move out from here. I would recommend getting background checks and do not rent to people who have been convicted of BURGLARY! This place should also be closed by 9 pm.

We have stored items at 40th St in the same unit for three years. We have never had a good experience getting people from the office on the phone. I decided to go on auto pay because calling the office was a negative experience (long wait times) when I would try to pay my bill. This place has rented to some VERY scary characters since early 2022. I think a background check for all renters would help and close the place after 9 pm.

Very easy. Made reservations online then went to facility to confirm my reservation. They even have actual units there to see if you need the space. I am glad I looked at it because I needed a bigger one. Customer service was excellent. Very friendly and professional.

I rented the unit for 2 years. At about a year in, my unit was broken into from above and family heirlooms and other items were stolen. I notified a staff member as soon as I discovered the break in. I never received a call from management nor was the point of break in ever repaired.

Thank goodness Dedric in ur Springdale office. I would try to pay some on it each payday. Nope couldn't do it they wouldn't except anything then the full amount. I got the Manager Dedric. He worked with me to get it payed down. With the fees late charges and everything ended up having a 600. Balance with them Dedric and I would agree on a amount and I would pay it. He was very Nice and he convinced me by bn upbeat and happy. As long as u pay ur bill. Telling you do not put anything that is precious in it they got me I paid almost 600. For months just to get out of ur facilities. I ended paying them a easy 1000. And they would send me letters every month bout how they were going to sell everything. In the unit. Which sucks to be told. Don't miss a payment u seriously can be stuck like I was. Which miss a payment and all the fees will put u at least instead of a 80. Payment turns into 150. And when ur ready to pay they won't take anything but the total amount due which was over 600. When I had the money I would pay 200 100 to Dedric took payments but by the time the rent came do. I was already trying to pay the back pay and they wouldn't take them so I get a little a little more behind They. Thank goodness I'm done with them holding ur stuff for Ransome. They Suck

I called the customer service line more than a month ago and told them I was moving out. Since it was after office hours they said that they would send a message to the location and let them know I was moving out. I was charged an extra month of rent at this location because of their miscommunication. I work and take care of three households. I thought this was taken care of. The agent didn’t tell me I could move out online. I called twice to resolve it and no one was helpful. I sat on hold my entire work break.

I rated average because I booked my storage online for a specific location. I arrived with a 20 foot truck full and mover hired to help only to be told we don’t have any units available. Their solution I had to accept was to go 5 miles further away from the location to another Uhaul storage facility. I felt like I was being run around, it was stressful and had to pay my movers an additional hour to divert to another location. Then at the new location the passcode they gave me for the gate did not work causing even more delay cost. They gave me a second pass code for the gate. It did not work. Finally the manager at the storage helped by opening the gate. After unloading the gate still would not open for the passcode they gave me and I had to “tailgate” behind another vehicle just to get out of the facility property. The Uhaul manager did give me 1 month free for storage although I spent more than that on mover labor delays and frustration. Other than the above the facility seemed very clean and safe. The on-site manager at the facility I was diverted to was helpful.

Rented a 5x5x8 unit is not that size it’s way smaller. Tried calling 2 days in a row to see if I could get into a bigger unit. I finally got through to some sort of operator who said that they would email the facility and have them call me. I still have yet to receive a call and this was 2 days ago. This in turn caused us to have to rent the truck for another day costing us even more money. There is nobody onsite and still cannot get ahold of anyone to help.

When I didn't get a response at the facility upon calling to reserve a unit, I made the reservation through 800-GO-UHAUL. I did not receive a unit number nor the access code to enter the facility. When I arrived, I was able to follow someone in through the gate but had no idea where to go from there. We finally found the number to contact Dedric. Sadly, he was out of town for his mother's funeral. I felt so badly for disturbing him during such an inopportune time. Yet he very graciously took the time to assist me with my reservation needs. He was most helpful to me at a time when he should have been solely focused on family matters at hand.

Not having an office on site is frustrating. Our ceiling liner fell off but the only way to report that was by phone or to go to the main location that operates this storage. That wasn’t very convenient. But that is the only negative comment I have regarding this location. I would recommend this storage facility to friends and family.

The staff and manager went above and beyond to help me get the free storage unit we quilified for when renting a truck to help move a friend. Dispite the 1st 2 units being already occupied they quickly fixed the issue and the unit we had was even better than the other options. Everything was great with the storage unit I received. The biggest problem was that I was told on a Friday that I couldn’t wait till Monday to make my payment unless I wanted to pay an extra $35 which I felt was ridiculous considering it was just over a weekend so I could make sure my paycheck was in my account before I made my payment.

Late fees are really high and i had to move my boat to a different spot due to building painting and the only spot that was left was hard to park a boat with a trailer in and i was never called back to notify me if the building was done being painted after 3 weeks

I never went inside the office at that location. As I was only there twice. Once when I brought our minivan to store it, that was late at night and the office was closed. The second time is when I came to let the tow truck driver in to take the van away. That was during office hours but also during Covid-19 pandemic.

Everything was fine until i stopped going there. I live 1000 miles away and for a couple of years I spent time in the area for business. When i no longer needed to go there, closing the account was a problem. I could never get anyone on the phone, etc. until finally one day there was an answer to an email. Now it's all taken care of and the actual storage experience there was very pleasant.

Upon check in, I was told I needed a name of someone of a different address. Well my husband is my only other contact and he lives at the same address I do. I'm not sure why you needed two different people's information to check out a unit. When I finally got the information to my unit, I went to store my items but there was a tie on the door that I was not told about. I called back up to the store and the guy just said "oh yeah that just makes them more secure, just cut it off." That would have been helpful information to have when I left the place initially because I didnt have anything to cut the thing off. Also how is that secure when literally anyone with a pair of scissors can get into it? It was unnecessarily stressful and Trent was not very helpful. When I cancelled the unit, I was on hold for so long I called back and got an answer, but there was no one on the phone. I could hear people talking, but not to me. When I hung up and called back it went right back to on hold.

Uhaul was unprofessional and had many hidden fees. When trying to call the local office most calls were always answered by a call service and never at the actual store intended for the initial call.

This what not the original drop off location that I picked online. When I went to the original drop off location, they had several trailers there but refused to take it. Said I needed to drive it to the other side of town near a mall. So I drove to the location above and they took it no problem, but that was a complete waste of time and gas. It was down a dirt road in sketchy looking place. Really think Uhual wouldn’t have such a place. The original place was 2952 N. College Ave. Fayetteville, AR 72703. Very nasty looking place.

I have been billed multiple times after moving out and telling U-Haul that the storage is empty. My phone calls are never taken by the actual facility, and calls are never returned. Storage sucks!
