The unit we rented, nd paid for already, was locked and in use by someone else. We borrowed a friends truck at considerable expense, only to have to load it, find out our unit was in use by someone else, return home, unload it, and still pay him the $100 plus mileage ($135 total). Not cool.

I tried calling the local office at least 6 times and just got connected to the customer service line. I was told multiple times someone would call me back and I still have not received that call. I would like to be refunded the pro-rated portion of the time I pre-paid for and have not used. I’m not going to contact U-Hail to resolve any dispute because it would be a waste of time. I do not I destand why the customer service reps cannot close out a rental agreement, at least they answered the phone. I also went by the location a few days after I had moved out and still there was no one there to help me.

Not sure if it was just because of covid or if this is how they do business but as long as I kept an open line of communication, they worked with me. I will definitely do business with them again in the future if its ever needed.
