O D | First ImpressionsThe facility was okay. The staff were horrendous. They were not attentive at all. As someone who visited my unit often, they were extremely dismissive and unhelpful. They were often on their phones, listening to loud music or watching videos. Whenever asked a question, or if they had something, even the simplest things they would also refer me to someone in the back room, if someone was at the desk they never could actually assist, it was very odd for them to have to always defer me, it felt like they simply didnt want to help and I always felt brushed off.

For the past year I haven’t had a stable home or job. I’ve been battling crippling anxiety and depression. I struggled to do even the simplest things like make a phone call. I came into the store in Jan trying to make a payment. The man said I couldn’t do partial only full but that my stuff was safe forever since I had Been in. I assumed that was a lie. I know ultimately it’s my fault, and this is just another thing I’ve messed up. But that was my entire life all my photos, all that was left from my now dead mother. Gifts she gave me letters she wrote me. Things that I know whoever bought it just trashed. It really hurts my heart. that’s how it works you can’t pay you lose it and if it was going to just be trashed why couldn’t I have it?. I hate how when you’re poor everything is designed to make you lose even more. can’t. I literally just got a new great paying job and that week was going to come back in to try to work something out. I was actually feeling hopeful thinking of being able to get a place and have all my things back. But I worked late everyday and mixed up the date of the auction and when I came in it was already over and the guy said there was nothing I could do. But none of it was really even mine to begin with. everything is temporary and it only hurts because I was attached to it. The more we cling to something the more it’s going to hurt when it’s gone. Maybe I can learn from. And if I have nothing, lost it all.then there’s nothing to be sad about losing.

He is wonderful and I hope the owner (if he’s not the owner) knows what a jewel of an employee they have and makes sure they keep him.

The storage facility was always secure and clean before I got a unit, while my items were stored in the unit and even afterwards. I never even saw dust ever. I always saw workers cleaning the storage facility. I truly am honored and feel as though it was a privilege to have stored my items there until I moved. There was a time I did not lock my unit correctly and was called immediately to address that matter. That’s what I call exceptional customer service! Thank you to everyone in helping me feel safe, secure and knowing that my unit was always clean and pest/rodent free seeming that it is an old building!

SCOTT S | Overall ExperienceOct. 2023 -- I retained a storage unit in Sept. 2015 and was pleased from the beginning with it. First, I like the fact that the location is within a renovated building. Secondly, I like the easy access in the covered parking area and the level of security provided. Finally, there have been different managers over the years, but the current manager, Erston Mallet is far and away the best of those managers. He is a friendly, organized and helpful leader there. Using U-Haul Storage has been a great experience, so much so that I have retained another unit in another state where I'm moving. Highly recommended.

Due to the U-Haul storage having an malfunction at the door that wouldn't allow customers to enter there storage units. Then the next day I get there to realize that I have to walk and catch a elevator to unload a 24 inch truck. I was completely destroyed about the whole experience. I have a negative balance that I owe U-Haul due to the service that I received from you guys company. I will never refer you guys to anyone as in regards to a storage or a moving truck. My whole experience with U-Haul was horrible and pricey due to poor communication and organization.

Jessica W | Overall ExperienceExcited to be using this uhaul but a little upset with my experience trying to get into the building/my unit last night though. :-( I had the bed of my truck full of my daughter's things and it was raining like crazy off and on cold nasty weather so I really needed to get her stuff inside so it didn't hey ruined but unfortunately was never able to actually get into the building. Someone had said they closed at 8pm and I I distinctly remember chosing this place bc their storage access hours were supposed to be until 10pm. Wondering why this was not mentioned to me during the actual renting process.

Now I have to wait another week to get a refund back I should have already recieved because the manager at this location didnt process my refund, until friday when we talked on monday. Noone told me I had to check out from the storage unit on my end to officially process the return. But all I got from the manager is no receipt, he just said you will be getting a refund. No confirmation email until I called on friday, which is when i was informed the refund was just processed that morning. Also had to pay for my truck rental twice, because even though the first month was supposed to be free, after the fact I found out I actually was charged. Would not recommend

Was told to move car in two occasions only to see another park where I was and not get asked to move. Place was filthy, for example trash was in some spots for weeks. Pulling into the garage was just as crap because the sensors on the entry door never worked. Instead you had to park your car in front of the door, walk down the way, badge in, walk inside, open the garage door, pull in, then park. See the problem with that? Crap.

The building information was not available. My access code did not work for a while. It takes too long to unload the truck. I made a big mistake choosing this location. Theresa K | Overall Experiencetoo many units for only one elevator, and this location is adding more units. madness. dirty. elevator floor has not been mopped ever as far as i can tell. bathrooms have been dirty and unmaintained for a long time. and now they are all locked except at the office. no stairwell to the ground level except the fire escape. how is that even legal. i found that out when the elevator was out one day. staff was not friendly or helpful during a period of time locker alarms were messed up and constantly going off. made using my locker impossible to use. i feel i should receive compensation for how nasty this place has gotten since i first rented my unit. will not be recommending.

Jazmin C | Overall ExperienceWe rented a 10x20 only to find that it is 2 separate units sold as 1, and then when we went to look at the units after completing paperwork both still had locks from other renters on them. We were then given other units (after more time to do paperwork) and then when we opened the units they both have huge 3 ft diameter concrete support poles in the middle of the units. This is a very old manufacturing building repurposed for storage. It dirty and difficult to get in and out of wirhbonlu one elevator. Not one I would recommend.

After arriving from Chicago to this St. Louis location to pick up my reserved truck, all that was done by the UHaul rep was "unfortunately the truck is not here" and that he couldn't help further. This caused a major inconvenience on our preplanned moving plans. I would never trust the UHaul reservation system.

The store manager was very nice and acknowledged me in line right away when he came into the store to assist while the other gentleman was on the phone. He was prompt in the payment process, finding me a storage location and pulling the truck around for me. He was also there for the return process and made it easy to come and go. He was efficient in emailing me over the receipt also. Nice guy! I appreciate the easy service during a stressful moving day.
