Check them brakes! Especially in Houston or high pop areas known for aggressive drivers. But the guy at the location I rented from was one of the most genuinely nice people I've meet in 10 years. He explained everything to me in detail and was extremely polite. 15 out of 10 for his service alone.

Hi, Very bad experience at the location. I booked 15’ truck online as I couldn’t find 10’ at the time of booking. After I reach to the location, I see there more than four 10’ truck available at the location. By seeing them, I want to book that 10’ truck instead of 15’ truck. But the lady at the counter said that she don’t give the 10’ truck even if I book online at that time.
I don’t know the reason, but just cheating the customer.
She is not polite with customer at all.
We couldn’t drive it , Due to that 15’ size truck, we returned it early and found the alternative.

I would NOT recommend this location to anyone !!! After paying $900 plus for Uhaul to drive a few states over when it was time to drop my uhaul off i was given the wrong location ! Of course I contacted the uhaul place to be told they just gave me a location because I didn’t have a drop off location on my reservation . I checked my reservation and i in fact did have a drop off location on my reservation !!!! I informed the worker that he was wrong there was a drop off location on my reservation and his response was well he doesn’t know to just contact the 1-800 number .
Please do better business when customers pay good money for the uhaul !

I used this storage for years, which was really a waste of money. The deciding factor in me leaving was being charged a late fee, because I forgot to get a new card. There was no understanding for the mishap after years of constant on time payments via auto pay. Also while leaving I was willing to pay to throw a few broken down boxes away, but $50 is robbery. Way to take advantage, and I’m glad this experience is over

There was a break-in at the facility in Decmeber. My unit was vandalized and items stolen. It appeared that there were other units broken into but I was told I was the only one who reported items missing. I still can't understand how someone was able to bypass the key card entry at the gate, bypass the key card entry on the elevator (my unit was on the 2nd floor), break locks to access the unit and open up multiple storage trunks and damage items and still manage to leave without being apprehended. There was an entire footlocker (10+ lbs) with memorable keepsakes plus other items that were stolen from my unit. How was someone able to do all this to my unit and break into others before law enforcement or anyone was notified? Where were the cameras? Where were the alarms? I truly believe this was an inside job. Just 2 days before the incident I was getting items from my unit and the female manager just happened to be walking my floor. There has never been anyone in the building when I have gone. This seemed suspicious to me considering just a few days later my unit was broken into. Following the incident management simply told me to file a police report and gave me new locks. There was no resolution, no compensation for my loss and I was still charged for that month and the subsequent months until I was able to move my things out. More than an inconvenience to me....I feel like I wasted money and was totally violated. And in the end still had to spend more money to relocate my belongings. Police have done nothing either. I will NEVER store my belongings at Uhaul ever again.

The lanes were so narrow with no room to turn around and with U haul trucks randomly parked on back fence I hard an almost impossible time getting out and around the building in my even 15’ rented U haul truck and had to back up entirely around the building. I also witnessed others having problems. There was no parking up front even to get into office. The gate didn’t close and the card system was totally ineffective and I watched many set off alarm exiting which only conditioned people to accept that.
The people were nice and very helpful though, especially the manager.

On July 16, 2020 I received a phone call from an associate working at this facility named Abby. She informed me shoe does not normally work there and is from U-Haul Store 74628. She called to inform me that our unit was no longer secured by a lock. Our lock was missing and the door was open approximately 4-6" of the way. She closed it all the way and secured it with a company lock and red tag lock. Abby informed she has put all of these notes into our file as well. She informed me that a manager was not available and she is not an employee of that location and cannot do anything other than escalate it to higher managerial authorities. Unless we have determined otherwise, we are suspecting this is an unlawful break-in. We had no employees or trusted associates in Texas since March 9th. We have not had anyone access the storage unit since the move in day, which was me personally. I have requested a formal review of the camera systems and a police report to be filed for this. Our associates were in town on July 19th and moved out of our storage unit.
On July 17, 2020 Justin Howard took photographs of the contents and they were additionally inspected by an associate we had travel last minute to perform the inspection. At first glance it appears none of our equipment was disturbed or stolen. This will take some time to determine as we have several hundred serialized pieces of training equipment in the unit. Until a comprehensive inventory is complete, we cannot rule out any malicious activity. I was informed that the alarm was not set off either. All of the indications point to non-criminal activity, but the camera footage and the inventory will be the two final pieces of information to complete this event. No-one has been able to help me. I have contacted U-Haul several times over weeks with no success.

Thank you for so many years, but know because if the situation I need to find out at good price and something i can’t pick something at anytime. Am. Djing and sometimes I have to pick equipment at different time. But thank you so much I was more that 10 years with your company I asked them for gimme the opportunity to tray to fix Something about the payments because at thi time am not working and they just locked my store so I find another stores company better price and 24 hours and I don’t have to pay until July. But I thank you anyway for so many years.!

All were good, we only were late a day once in a last couple years, and the maanger didn't waive the $15 late charge!
My wife got upset.
This was the only bad experience we had with you.

I forgot the name of the gentlemen that checked us in, but he was phenomenal!!! the computers were not loading quickly and he was able to judge our good character and we were able to simultaneously load our unit and check-in; thus making the process extremely fast. his professionalism is above expected. We check in on 3/9/2020. That guy deserves recognition or a bonus if I ever seen the justification so clearly.
