They decided to move the office across the street with no notice to customers. I drove up to pay my monthly bill and saw the big sign that stated "We moved" and the gate to the property was standing open. The phone number on the sign was not working. I drove over to the new office the next day and the situation was not as bad as it appeared at first, but the damage had already been done. If they did that to us once, what will they pull next time? It would have been nice to receive a letter or email stating that they value my business. Obviously, they don't. I will say that Gricelda, Quinn, and other people associated with the property have been extremely nice and professional. It ended up working out well. I have now settled into a new location run by a different company.

They had an issue with her rental which would have been easier for them to resolve if they knocked off the attitudes they had. It was the strangest interaction.

Jorge LThe particular uhaul we rented from had the wrong address on our reservation. Evidently they had moved, but we didn't have the new address until we called twice. Spent 45 minutes finding them. Then the truck the gave us was hard to put in reverse. Burned fuel, we drove 20 miles and had to add over 5 gallons of gas. Truck back was dirty and not swept out, windshield cracked, I could go on.... The 2 people in the office were very unfriendly, like all this was out fault. Would NEVER use this location again or tell anyone to use it.

Also, the cards had to be re-programmed several times. Otherwise, the staff themselves were very helpful and the units themselves worked perfectly.

YUDUAR PWhen I picked up the van the employee acted like I was a burden to him. When I returned the van the 2 employees acted the same. The guy used curse worse when some men returned their truck. We couldn't leave because the truck was blocking me. We asked them to move the truck but they just kept arguing with the other men. After about 20 min we ended up having to slowly manipulate our car around everything so we could leave. Never again will I rent from this location.

In 50 states from vehicle rentals, trailers, storage to your home, or even facility storage you can't go wrong. Also remember Uhaul allows automatic payment's or even month to month payments. Many other storage unit's need you to sign a forever contract where you end up paying more. Uhaul has a vast array of different sizes of units, depending on your need's. But know this Uhaul wont ask you to toss anything, they want you to keep your memories. So choose Uhaul you wont go wrong.

STANLEY VThey overcharged to my Cardin January 1st I have no idea why the charges went up from $56 to $164.82 if I rented for 12hrs, from 1:00pm 12/29/2022 until 1:00AM on 12/30/2022. But I returned the truck about 11:55pm on 12/29/2022 I parked the truck at the front of the office and dropped the keys thru the door and they have cameras, so they can see I’m telling the truth. It’s so frustrating that the man who helped me lied to me and overcharged for the service. Never trust that people at that location ever again.

Usually I am notified prior to pick up if requested equipment is unavailable. There was also a hand dolly ziplocked to the truck. We informed the employee that we did not order a hand dolly and they said we had to keep it in the truck or we’d be charged $25 even though it was taking up space that we had planned on having when we selected the truck size. We ordered some packing equipment online and didn’t receive it when picking everything up. We had to go back to the office to get it. We also overheard a conversation about theft from a storage unit while in the office. I’ve had better experiences at other locations.

Omar RMy pick up location for a reserved 10 ft truck (reserved 1 month before the date) changed 20 minutes before my RESERVED pick up time to another location across town and to a 15' truck which was too big for what we needed ! This caused additional miles on the truck as well as more gas needing to be put in because I was driving from San Antonio to Houston one way. Why is there a reservation system if you cant reserve and get what you need? I had even prepurchased moving items at the original location that the new location told me I would have to go across town to pick them up (using mileage and gas) and they could not honor my purchase. Again, the reservation system is completely flawed and useless if you can't honor the correct reservation. Customer service was poor and it was like they were doing me a favor taking my money. I even tried to buy a lock for the truck and the guy scanned it and said it wasn't in their system (wouldnt try to add the code manually) and he couldn't sell it to me but he could sell me the lock for a toolbox - I needed to lock a U Haul Truck NOT a toolbox.

Luis LThe only reason this facility is not rated excellent is because it is located at a congested junction. There is only one stall for returned vehicles and most people just park illegally on the street in front of the facility’s entrance. No fault of the staff, but it is congested. Other than this, the staff were super awesome and courteous. We will definitely continue to use U-Haul in the future just because of our positive experience. Thanks for helping make our move less painful.

I don’t believe a sincere effort was made to contact me soon enough so that possibly would have helped recover my valuables. Been retired law enforcement, I know time is of the essence in recovering stolen items. Staff said they tried contacting me but neither I nor my brother had missed calls from the staff. I removed my remaining items to another location, hopefully I’ll have better luck there. I believe staff should have contacted police about the break-in, so law enforcement could have started this investigation as soon as the facility became aware of the break-in, and wait for the client to take it upon themselves to initiate an investigation. No I would not recommend your facility to anyone. The break-in took some time in completing, so your staff should have noticed what was happening in their surveillance cameras in the office at the time it was happening. The whole incident seems fishy to me and brings about suspicion of the actual surveillance done by your staff at the time of this incident. Poor job!!!!

The 26' truck was NOT accepted for drop off as scheduled. 2 10x15' units were substituted for the reserved space. The truck has to go elsewhere for drop off. I have had to rent a third unit (FROM A COMPETITOR) to complete storing my household goods. The staff did the best they could, but your data base is apparently inaccurate and worthless. I will not be doing business with U-Haul again.

Followed the instructions online for check out and was still charged for the unit had to go back to the store which they already re-rented the unit so they know I moved out said it was a mistake but still inconvenient. As a whole I will not use U-Haul again the last three out of five experiences that I’ve had with U-Haul in the past six months four of them have been horrible and only one of them has been OK which is the storage unit!!

Two, security was adequate but multiple units had been broken into including a unit next to my own that I reported to management. Three, my door was repainted (thank you) but my lock was also repainted which was not desired. The service, availability, and staff were outstanding.

That said, the manager of the Wurzbach location is exemplary, knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and downright nice. She should be promoted to lead all SAT locations and train all employees in customer SERVICE.

Ended up checking out uhaul’s storage rates and settled on the perfect sized unit. Not only did they offer a monthly rental basis, but they had a lot of different sized units to choose from, unlike other places where you get 2 or 3 sizes maximum. Was also able to get the option for climate control, which was great. The entire process was online, from reserving the unit, to checking in and bypassing the line at the desk with a lock waiting for me inside the unit when I arrived. 10/10-would highly recommend

I dropped a box in 10 minutes later when I noticed I asked if they can get it for me because everything requires a card swipe and they claimed there was no box but they were look at the cameras to see if it was an employee who picked it up or another customer. I never got my $3,000 engagement ring bag or heard about it again. At one point when I couldn't find my storage key I attempted to open it with bolt cutters and no one stopped me or asked me for verification that it was my unit. All the card swipes and cameras are nothing more but an illusion of security because they don't even review the cameras to see if someone's breaking in or to locate and drop the package breaking it in or to locate a dropped package. I never thought so much to go wrong on a simple storage unit but everything that could have went wrong went wrong with this U-Haul storage and I will not be returning.

Martin L | First ImpressionsThis facility was far from a good experience. I sadly was pulled from dorms and accepted the assistance U-Haul offered until I got back on my feet. I trust was unimpressed. I had no access to my stuff after 9am and considering everything I own was in there and I realized I could itemize certain things when I was off of work well past 9pm. Then as the experience came to an end I was moving and noticed there were ants all over my belongings. Being I am deathly allergic I had to call my sister and sister in law to move all my stuff for me. When I told the ladies at the desk they cane down to observe it was true. The first offered us to leave all objects we already had in the truck and have them bombed and pick them up the next morning but then the other woman immediately claimed “they’re just sugar ants they’ll be fine” as if she was bothered by us bringing to their attention something that could kill me. I ended up paying 115 a month for an experience that was by far the worst as well as to be disrespected by the staff for my concern with the items in my unit being infested with ants. Definitely need to address professionalism with the staff here.

I owed for two weeks. The managet stated that I needed to fo to my bank and get a paper statement to prove that I had paid for the unit. A paper statement? I was told that "I" needed to contact the cotpotlrate office. So I xid. Spoke to coroporate office , i owex $254.00 Corporate stated that They see exactly what I see on the computer. Incluxing payment history. This manager is less then , well lets just say I would not jave Gracelda work for me. Eventually the young man contacted it,department. Found out their system automatically ads a month until you click on payment, then the teue balance shows. The manager Gracelda should have known this. To say the least I was pist! I have spent over $2000.00 in fees to this company. U haul owes me money. They do not Repeat do not pro rate the fees. So basically you spend a lot of money for very poor service from U haul on Parkdale San Antonio, Texas Mary Britt
