We reserved online, but...then had to go through the entire process again when we arrived onsite...using the employee’s personal phone? She took photos of my license and everything with her personal phone. Seemed super sketchy and I will probably reconsider UHaul in the future based on that experience alone. Also, when I returned the vehicle, the attendant never came out to get the vehicle (as the drop-off sign directs). I waited 5 minutes for the attendant, and then walked in to find her on her phone, not watching the security cameras and noticing me, etc. It was not very reassuring at all. As a former victim of credit fraud, just everything about this felt dirty and unsafe. Will probably use Home Depot in the future.

Your AP for the phone is horrible. No one was available to chat and because of that it took me a half hour to get a van that should have taken 2 minutes. Then there was only one person there who basically ignored me for a ten second transaction, literally while she waited on someone renting a storage bin.

Even though there are Uhaul locations that are closer to our residence, we would go back to the Wooster Square Uhaul because of the high level of customer service.

Anna & Daisy were wonderful, very helpful. I did have to come back in to ask for the hand truck that was paid for but not in the truck. The night before I was to pick up the truck someone else called me to tell me I could not have the 20' truck that I really needed. I booked the truck over a month ago and felt as though I should not have been the one chosen that day to be inconvenienced and had I not said "ok, I will be at State street at 8am" I would have never found out that she also was moving where I had to pick it up, but didn't tell me.

Terrible manager, being unfriendly with no answer to why lock my cube before the due day, and I was paid on time and autopay. In addition, she didn`t refund any rents for extra days.

I was a walked in customer, and the entire rental process took 25 mins. It`s very clearly the manager there didn`t train her employee well. The gentleman helped me doesn`t understand the system, his was literally reading every words to find out what`s the next step. Manger keep hiding in her office and refuse to provide useful help. I presented my driver license, but instead scan in the store, they send me a link and request me do DL upload at the counter. She has very bad altitude to both her customers and employee, during the entire check-out and returning process I have not seen her tried to smile for a second. When return the truck, she even threatening charging me in store return fee if I don`t return the truck online by myself using my phone. I totally defeated the purpose of having a store with employee. I suggest U haul replace all of them with robots or automation service, since these people didn`t perform any better than the UHaul APP.

I returned the Uhaul after about 1.5 hrs yesterday 24 hrs ago and I have not received my bill. I see 2 pending charges and I am concerned that the bill is much more than I estimated. I think the final charges need to be calculated with the customer as how hard can it be to look at the gas mileage etc. I did not put gas in and I estimate maybe 1.5 gal needed which they explained. I accepted the charges as I didn't know the area (just moved here) so I didn't want to drive around looking for a gas station. I should know the final charges if not immediately then within an hour of dropping off the truck.

There was a dial missing from the dash so you could not adjust air flow. The main complaint I have is with the cell phone check in. It claims to be speedy, but I had to wait 15 minutes to get approved after submitting my credentials, and they had to call two of my contacts to confirm my rental. I would much rather do the standard counter check in, I did not have a good experience with the phone check in.

A bit scary.. "just leave the key in the ignition and you will get your bill shortly." $ hours later still no bill. I overfilled gas tank and was under allowed miles and a day early with return. good thing they didn't lend the truck to someone else,,,,.

only problem was i parked truck and waited for person to come out. i had to go into shop and fine someone. she told if i read the sign about online returns. i said yes but didnt care to go online. was very busy trying to get back with move in hassle. i had to tell her i have the truck in with over a half tank full its in the same shape as i rec'd and just gave her the keys..she didnt give me any paper work, didnt check the truck for gas or anything. i had to go on chat line to let them know i dropped it off and if our business is completed officially. chat line told me they will send me an email to confirm our business. it was close to the location closing time and probably was brushed off. other then that the moving went well. one small thing i couldnt get thru phone line about restrictions on lower bridge issues with the height of truck which was 9ft required and had to take a chance on merritt pkwy in connecticut.

I am not happy about the push toward customers doing everything with their phone. I was grateful that staff were willing to help me this time, but concerned that this isn't the plan moving forward. Much is done through phone apps, but for something as infrequent and potentially complicated as renting moving equipment, the human touch is needed. Please don't make this mistake. There are other folks from whom I can rent if U-Haul doesn't allow me to interact with fellow humans. BTW, I am a psychologist and am well aware of the mistakes that are being made, for profit or folly, by those who place machines, computers, or "artificial intelligence" between humans and their other goals. Humans are more comfortable interacting with humans. Humans become frustrated and angry when mishandled, or worse, by technology.

I rented a furniture dolly and a utility dolly, and had to take an extra trip for the furniture dolly because it was not in the truck. The truck initially smelled of cat urine but I had no choice but to use it. The manager of the place never contacted me or reached out about my missing item and extra trip. That is not good customer service. There was a deal for the furniture pads and dolly rental together, but I was unaware of it during the online rental process so when I opened the bag because of the deal reflected on the bag, I got charged separately instead of the 10.00. It's only a few dollars, but unfair to me. Seeing how I had to make an extra uhaul trip due to not receiving my dolly, I think I should have been compensated for something!

This was a terrible experience. I had to wait forever because there were only 2 people working, and they were having computer problems. Then, when I got back and tried to do online return, the app kept logging me out and it took over half an hour to return the equipment.

The truck was parked very close to others and was extremely difficult to get out. Both side view mirrors had to be closed to get the truck out and I had to enter through the passenger side to tightly to get into the truck

web site design needs modify. I mean when I place order my driver license front and back image is optional. But when I pick up that time system required me take picture onsite. because my phone performance waste extra time waiting upload.

Picking up and returning was very easy and the people were efficient and pleasant. The truck was decent. But the loading door on my 17' truck, when opened, would quickly rise to the top and get stuck. Took the movers a while to get it unstuck. Then it happened to me. Had to put the dolly and blankets in the drivers compartment so they would not fly out of the rear of the truck. Also I was charged 12 dollars for a 7 dollar dolly. Wrote for an explanation and so far nothing. Still in all would rent again. When you need a truck this is the place to go.

I reserved a van with a dolly and I didn’t get the dolly. The person in store said he closed and ignored me as I tried to flag him down. I also tried to tell someone via online chat and they weren’t helpful. They said they would take that charge off but I was still charged for a dolly that was not in the van. And to top it off it made my move super inconvenient. It took me twice as long to carry box by box. I specifically ordered a dolly cause I have a bad knee and can’t carry boxes. But because of your negligence I have knee pain now. Never using this service again.

Employee couldn't check us out because the system was down. Later found out that I was charged extra for a 1/16 tank of gas, despite the fact that the needle was in the exact same place as it was for pickup. After waiting 20 minutes with no communication from him except that there was nothing he could do to help us, I'm not terribly pleased with my experience. I'll use another uhaul location in the future, which is unfortunate because all of my interactions with other employees were so much nicer.

The last time I went to uhaul to obtain a new access key & trailer quote to move my stuff out of state, I discovered my room was cleared out without my permission. Also, I need a refund of $115.

The Staff is friendly.. However every week is an issue. Its always an issue with check in.. the systems is down, slow or just not working. This weekend the rental was not functioning properly.. The car shared on the high way and the cabin back was open where air was coming in as if the cab was going fall off. I had to stop and get a coat to continue driving. These are issue that are arising that cannot be seen with a walk around. I use Uhaul to run my business and this is the 3rd week in a row that we have had an issue. I truly need to Uhaul to get it together. I paid for a U- haul that had too many

The amount of gas on the contract at pickup was incorrect in U-Hauls favor and I had to notify the customer service rep. Aapparently shr should’ve told me that I would need to go into the office upon return to get that corrected and not return the truck using self serve, which I did. Also, I was charged for two extra miles that I did not use!! So, I got charged for the gas because it wasn’t put in to the computer and for 2 miles not used by me. I’ve already been credited for the gas and need a credit for the two extra miles I was charged erroneously (mileage out 75508, mileage in 75536- 28 miles). Otherwise it was fine. Thank you.

The only thing that could improve the facility would be some work on the elevator and overhead door timers. Freight elevators need to have "stay open" buttons to give you some time to load- same goes for garage entrance doors. Your staff was fantastic in helping me

I was overcharged upon return of the vehicle. I was actually charged for 2 rental periods instead of 1. I am very disappointed and have sent an email to the Uhaul main address. This is not acceptable. This office has just upgraded and automated many of their systems, however these changes maybe have resulted in possible confusion. All processes are by text or email. Be sure to reconfirm all your rental charges at this address before departing the location. I am disspointed.
