U-Haul experience has been a nightmare, poor communication, price gauge, I currently have 3 credits pending due to charges and fees that were applied after being told that the terms could not be changed when I arrived to pick up the unit at a location that I did not select to begin with, what a MESS.

Before I left the facility, I'll let them know that the check engine light was on. Received a called today February the 19th. Let me know that I would head to drive the vehicle. A 100 miles for the chicken light to go off. I returned the rental the same day. I was supposed to keep it 24 hours but I kept having problems with it.

I did not pick up the trailer at the Willowbrook location. That is where I dropped it off. I picked it up in Dallas. The overall experience was not good. I booked the trailer through the call center. I got the confirmation via text. As instructed I download the app to my phone but the reservation never showed up. The day before I was to pick up the trailer I got a confirmation text but it showed the wrong time. I call the location in Dallas to inform them of the time I was arriving to pick up. They changed the time. Again, the app never showed the reservation. A few hours prior to picking up the trailer, I got a call indicating the trailer was not available at the desired location, but one was available about 5 miles away. I accepted that location and was finally able to get the trailer. I then had to go another 5 miles to another location to purchase an adaptor for the wiring harness. When I dropped the trailer off at the Willowbrook location, I asked to have the receipt emailed to me. I had them verify the email address and it was not even close to my email. In theory, they changed it to the correct email address, but I still have not received the receipt. Overall, not a pleasant experience at all.

The person who rented me the equipment stated that it had to be delivered to another location only to charge me more expensive than normal without communicating that detail to me. This is the first time I have had this problem since I have rented many times. I don't know if I should take advantage of the client's urgency to scam in this way.

It was just a series of issues. The wrong amount of our boxes were delivered. They were delivered late. We were overcharged. The wrong truck was given to us and it took HOURS each time we were exchanging or accessing our boxes... we gave thrm notice we needed access and we called to confirm the day before and morning of as we were heading over. This caused us several days delay and additional charges. We were charged for items we did not purchase and getting a refund was more than difficult.

The service of Uhaul is going down. I reserved online, showed up and went to counter and checked in. My drivers license would not scan using my new iPhone 15 so the guy had to do it. I was then given keys and told the truck was out in the lot and to go find it using the asset number. Left a lot to be desired.

I relocated from MI to TX and used this location for storage. The ENTIRE staff was AMAZING from my 1st day until my move out date! The manager Kacey was EXCEPTIONAL…very helpful and personable. I moved about 15 minutes away from this location (there is one not even 5 mins from me now but if I ever had to utilize Uhaul services again I will definitely go back to the Willowbrook location.

In trying to reserve a truck and storage unit I got shuffled between multiple locations none of which were very convenient to my home. Eventually I gave up and went with a different company. I’ve never moved into either of the units that were reserved for me either at Spring or at Willowbrook yet have apparently been charged for both. I hate working with U-Haul and won’t do it again.

It did what it was supposed to do and my stuff was secure but many times no one was in office and i needed access to the building my unit was in because that one building was locked, i had to search the repair bays to find someone to go unlock the building. There is one young lady working there that got pretty peturbed at me for asking her to assist me because she was on her phone and she had to search for the key to get the building open and it seemed i was the problem for being there, but that only happened once.

THE WORST U-HAUL LOCATION IVE EVER DEALT WITH! I initially moved all of my furniture into this location after being forced to move out of my apartment due to being laid off. Long story short, I’ve sent multiple emails to the manager Kasey Lewis as well as called the store multiple times in attempt to be able to work out payments on my storage unit. Not one time was he able to work with me. I finally was able to get a new job and informed said manager that I would be able to make the payment in full on 10/21/22. Called and emailed on this day to make payment and was repeatedly ignored. Woke up to receiving an email thanking me for my time at this storage with 10/21/22 as the move out date. I am in tears. All of my furniture that I worked hard for gone. I sincerely hope that something like this never happens to you Kasey Lewis and you aren’t treated the same way.

The 2 storage rooms I used had leaks and I had to vacate them due to these leaks that damaged my things, and no one at any point asked, even after I reminded them to ask me, to point out where the leaks were so they could repair them. More than likely these 2 units are currently being rented out to someone with these leaks still in place, and Houston is a very wet city.

I completed online check-in so that I could access my unit outside of business hours. However, when I arrived, the main building door was locked so I had to wait for somebody to arrive and unlock it for me. Don’t offer unit access outside of normal business hours if you’re just going to keep the doors locked until after the office opens anyway.

To start, I called to make the reservation everything was good there, when I went to pick up the truck was horrible, I dont know what kind of people you guys hires, I have been in United States for about one year, and the worst experience I have had with a company. As soon as I arrived to the store to pick up the truck, the system was completely down. Then they checked my reservation and told me they didn't have the dolly furniture and don't have pads; when I made the reservation I have chosen a different place but the lady on the phone told me this place had everything I need; They didn't have nothing there. I was very upset and the Manager JOHN PENA, are you guys sure he can be a manager, he didnt even approach to me to resolve my problem, he just ignored me, you can verify this information with the CCTV system. They didnt bring the truck to me, I had to go out and find the truck by myself, the truck was not clean, the gas it was just in a quarter of tank, this is HOUSTON the distances here are big so I had to stop of the middle of the trip to put gas, then when I checked the storage unit, I have requested to be on 77095 not to the south of the city, So I have to call customer service to fix this problem, at the end it was fixed but I had to deal with a lot of stress because of you. I wont recommend anything from you, or use your services anymore. And please you need to fire this guy John Pena it was not respectful with nothing, how is it possible to have a manager that was not resolving the situations in the store and keep ignoring me all the time? That what you really want for your services?

Leticia was phenomenal! She helped me every step of the way and took the time to explain details without making me feel like an idiot. She knew moving could be stressful and made this portion the easiest thing i have dealt with by far. Previous experiences had me skeptical but still chose to go with the national brand and so glad i did, she restored my faith that people genuinely want to help others. We rented what they called a Climate Controlled 10x10 storage room for $140 per month including insurance because we had furniture and other sensitive items that would be damaged by heat and humidity. We put our things in the facility in May and all summer, the temperature was between 85 and 100 degrees Farhenheit. I have a photo of the temperature gauge they have in the hallway that reads 98º. It was always hot and humid in the storage areas. Many times I went to retrieve things and all the doors to my building were locked. I had to go to the other building and ask somebody to unlock the building. We ended up moving everything to a LifeStorage facility that was always so chilly that we almost needed a sweater when we went in, and it only cost $82 per month. There are a LOT of better options. Do not put your valuable things in this place. You will regret it. The worst part is, it is not even the lowest price around. Not even close. You can get better accommodations for less. Don't even think about putting your stuff here.

My unit had a leak I was in storage unit 0167. This leak ruined a box of my military memorabilia from my time I served in the US Navy. I told the employees about the leak but they didn’t seem to care. I just wanted to inform her that I lost items and it should be repaired before someone else rents it. I only rented the unit for two months glad it wasn’t longer.

I was pleased with everything service oriented. It was when I emptied the unit, found tons and tons of rodent droppings in the climate controlled, rodent controlled environment I paid for. I lost a lot of clothing, and towels due to holes chewed in them. Thank goodness I did not have much stored there. I also want to state that the staff was always very helpful and friendly at every encounter but the one when I told them about all of the rodent traffic I had in my unit.

Your marketing president Gabe Mindieta was so rude and so nasty and so threatening is the reason I canceled my storage unit there after over 10 years because he didn’t like me using the dumpster. Kept raising my rates and was full of mice and bugs. When I canceled I had to ask three times to take me out of the system fully paid as they sent collections tactics to both me and my father separately to get payment and then have the audacity to charge by mail with a late fee… I was fully paid, and I was told this was handled, but it was not handled. Worst experience I’ve ever had!!!! Unit E309... If I were on the board, I strongly recommend firing Gabe who is a disaster to humanity
