LUIS RInstaller (David) was knowledgeable and efficient and a pleasure to work with. Only complaint is with the administration system. My appointment was changed without my knowledge from thursday at 10 to wednesday at 11. They tried to phone me of the change on Tuesday but had my number wrong, I did get a do not reply email on tuesday evening "reminding" me of my Wednesday appointment . Left me uncertain about UHaul. My meeting with David reassured me and all went well.

Ron GI think that a customer paid a full month on the storage an only used one week instead of four they should get those extra weeks that they didn’t use reimbursed. You keeping that money and then re- renting the spot again, you making double the money on one spot. Not fair 😡

Donnie BThe man who installed the hitch was very personable and customer friendly. Hitch was installed in the timeframe expected but, unfortunately wiring kit he had was not the correct one. He was very apologetic for the mistake, said he would order the correct wiring kit, which would take a week to be delivered. He knew that I lived 60 miles away, so the said I wouldn’t be charged the $50 for the wiring installation next week. It was an unexpected goodwill gesture.

angle dThis facility is OUTSTANDING ACROSS THE BOARD‼️ I had this unit just days short of 4 YEARS. MUCH LONGER THAN I HAD INTENDED. I had the opportunity to interact with this staff on a monthly basis. On my move in/ out I also rented a truck and equipment. I just don't have enough positive remarks to say. The staff was CONSISTENTLY pleasant, helpful and willing/;ABLE to answer all of my questions and concerns. Jessie and Julia were particularly helpful to me during some difficult turns in the road throughout the time I had this unit. I can honestly say the West Springfield U-Haul staff raise the bar in outstanding customer service at a time when it's become a lost part of our society. IF only everywhere I went and everyone I encountered in my daily affairs were so bright, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful our world would be a better place. This facility is consistently sparkling clean as well. If I could give these folks 10 stars I would. They all deserve it. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making both of these traditional times in my life as smooth as they possibly could be. Please know you made a difference in my life if only for brief moments in time. I would not hesitate to use West Springfield U-Haul if the need arises again and I HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone in need of any of the services you provide. You indeed have a great bunch of human beings working here. All my very best regards to each and everyone of you and a deep and sacred bow for the outstanding service I received here. Eric BI did happen to have an issue with the store in chicopee ma. The gentleman that was on the counter on Saturday the 20th. I have a pay pal credit card and he without trying it said he can't take the card, because it not a credit cars in his world. I told him that I rented before with the same card and he told me not here in this store. Long story short he was condescending and rude. So I went to west Springfield and that gentleman was great he tried the card took it and I was off on my merry way. But it was 15 minutes on the other side of the city so it was a bit of an inconvenience.

Brad BScheduled access to two storage box a week in advance. Show up the morning of and they claim it was never scheduled for one of the boxes, and there's no way to override the computer to pull a box from the warehouse with less than 24 hours notice. Forced to schedule for the following day and hire a second mover to unload the second box. Show up the second morning and the warehouse guy is like "oh, this was actually scheduled for yesterday." When yesterday we were told it was never scheduled. So you just wasted us several hundred dollars for no reason. Now strongly considering asking my credit card company to reverse the shipping charge to cover the cost of the extra movers we had to hire because your people are so incompetent.
Benjamin CThe staff were 50/50 on the scale of helpful and friendly. Lyniesha is the ONLY nice person there that I've been personally talking to there for help or anything. One manager there said they would refund my $31.99 - this has been a year of empty promises and unanswered phone calls to the office (12/11/2022 -12/11/2023) and still no word or anything to indicate that they're doing something to help fix this. Manager's name is Owen Gagnon or Tucker Owens. If you are able to get this resolved that would bring ALL of my scores to 5 stars, my phone number is 407-556-5470. Other than that, and being unable to talk to a live human being on the phone (corporate) for this issue, I'm still satisfied with U-Haul

GABRIEL OThe only reason I changed to another storage facility is because of the ceiling size and the lack of availability of larger units. I had another storage unit in Wilbraham along with this one, and unfortunately I couldn’t consolidate them both into U-Haul. So I sadly, and I’m not happy about the choice, had to choose one because of the cost. Once I reduce the contents of the other place, I will be back for sure. Thank you for such great service and a wonderful place.

GARY PThis was the easiest move ever!! We've moved a bunch of times and had used other methods such PODS and a 26' truck. Boxes were fresh and clean. Drivers were courteous, timely and professional. And the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this service.

This time I decided to get insurance which I knew would raise the cost to approx $45. He charged me $68 because he added the estimated mileage (15mi) which he said would be reduced if I used less mileage. I was still charged $68 but only went about 9 miles. I was also charged an additional $25 for who knows what. I was too disgusted to call and ask. I will not use your services again. I'll go to another Home Depot in a neighboring town for a rental truck.
Bob HProcess was painless. Went in on Monday to reserve it. Picked it up on Tuesday. Dropped it off on Thursday. Truck was clean and ran like a charm for 350 miles. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would go there again!

The limited nighttime hours, though, was a disappointment, and the key pass arrangement was confusing and bothersome. Some signage explaining rules was wrong making it hard to know "what to do and whom to call" after the office closed. Also the requirement to purchase a specific lock was petty, and the way staff (management) communicated that (blocking out my lock) was annoying.

peter r | First ImpressionsReserved a unit with the impression that i had 24/7 access After i signed the contract and paid my fee the employee brought me to the unit.. once he opened the unit the alarm went off and then told me that they dont have any cards. i was not given a code to use either. i was also told they were open until 8, when i showed up at 7:05 the employees watched me walk up to the door and left in their cars.
