darrel pMain complaint is for U-Haul overall, there was not enough gas in the vehicle to make it to our destination and I was not given enough mileage to make it to the destination either. So I had to pay more for both.
TIMOTHY MCassie was excellent, very personable and professional. Everything was clearly explained. The facility is very clean, and although it was a busy Saturday, everything looked to be running like clockwork. Honestly the most efficient Uhaul Storag I have ever seen. The truck we rented for the move was clean, however it sounded terrible to drive and had the check engine light and another one lit up on the dash.
Tina BIf I need a U Haul in the future, I would order U Haul of Warren. A clean store with very pleasant staff. I returned the truck later in the day and there were several trucks that were returned ahead of mine. The lady who took care of me was pleasant and helpful.

Then when I bring the truck back as I was walking thru the parking lot a worker came up to me I handed her the keys and I told her I was doing the end of the rental in the store and I wanted a paper receipt as I am getting ready to hand the one rep my cash the other rep comes in and tells me that she already ran my card. So they did things their way and absolutely ignored Anything wanted. So I will never go to that branch again. I do not recommend that branch.

Simeon SAll tires on the van were bald. I didn't think to check and I drove to the rear of my gravel drive and became stuck very easily. I did not purchase the roadside coverage, advising that I had AAA. Uhaul should have warned me that AAA doesn't cover this "commercial" vehicle. I then had to navigate to UHaul roadside assistance through the app. They would have charged me $415 to pull me out! That price is immoral. If I find a place to report UHaul Roadside Assistance for that, I intend to. It took hours, but, through friends and neighbors and the talent of my son, he managed to extricate the van.

Thomas PI had a tire blowout which was a little unsafe but not having interior cargo light was not cool. We worked in the dark, cold, and snow to move. Likely go with Budget truck next time. Customer service didn’t do anything to remedy anything either.

When my movers arrived at storage I was told they only had the reservation for the smaller unit and they had no more large units available. I had to have my movers take my belongings to another storage company.

CHRISTOPHER S | First ImpressionsI never rented anything from uhual in my life When I first got my storage unit the lady told me I could access it 24 hours a day at any time that turned out to be a LIE could not Access weekends or after closing and the place is filthy the so called general manager refused to refund me my overpaid money when I left I paid for a extra month in advanced and when I moved out I left my locker spotless clean and took pictures corner to corner and the so called general manager "Kelly" there said I was not entitled to the advanced months payment I have proof I made she humiliated me in public trying to make me and my receipt look like a lie raising her voice almost screaming further more when calling the local and corporate uhual phone I couldn't speak with anyone else above her to assist me in my local U-Haul robbing me out of the money I AM owed because they have you on hold for hours and when they do pick up the phone your hung up on this has been the WORST experience from a NON Professional local U-Haul I ever imagined I been lied to repeatedly and robbed of the money OWED to me and the place leaks water and is a filthy mess absolutely unacceptable and a lesson learned to say the least I will be sharing my experience here with everyone I know as much as I can so they don't make the mistakes I did going there!!

Cheryl W | Overall ExperienceI was a bit disappointed that the largest unit available (12'x13'x5') was pretty inaccessible due to the stairs (which I was notified about) and the narrow hallway (about 3' wide by 6' tall - which I was NOT notified about). Though I would have been able to fit my furniture in the room itself, it was impossible to rotate the couch in the hallway since it was so narrow and awkward. The smaller units had larger hallways, but the largest ones up the stairs just wouldn't cut it. Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to fill the unit up since the largest items didn't fit, so I feel like I overpaid. Also, some correspondence from the location mentioned 24-hour access, but the unit is explicitly only accessible from 5am to 10pm. At 10:01pm I was locked out and had to haul everything back home an hour away and extend my truck rental another day. Also, I'm pretty sure I witnessed like 3 crimes during my experience in the area. Warren is a dying post-industrial town, and this location is a bit of a rough spot. I wish I would have known. I can't blame U-HAUL for most of my misfortune while moving, but I think the narrow hallway on the second floor is a significant disappointment to say the least. It's not like I could have seen it ahead of time. I tried to call before I reserved it but I think they only ever have one person in the office and I could never get through. It was clean enough and maintained enough, but it really seems like there must be just one person keeping the place running. All things considered, this is the most convenient self-storage location for at least 30 miles, but I'm glad I know now that I need a smaller unit to fit my large items and that I should plan to arrive while the sun is still up if I want to feel safe.

When I found the access door, there weren't any maps or directions to as to what grouping of units were where, and the floorplan of the building was a bit confusing (hallways would lead to dead ends, groupings of unit numbers were not in a fluid sequence, etc. This meant I spent about 35 minutes of my move in just trying to locate my unit by wandering around alone in this back warehouse. The facility is very nice, I appreciate the temperature readouts on the walls of the temp controlled units.
