I feel sorry for anyone that is homeless and trying to save money while storing their possessions in these facilities. It’s like highway robbery. Had to shut mine down and move in with someone else to share cost. Mine was $129 and kept going up every few months. When all said and done they wanted $149. Ok that’s the cute off for me. See ya 🤟🏽 On top of that I still had 15/day left on my rental and they told me no refunds 🧐

Rick UnbehaunI had to wait to be helped when I arrived to pick up my reservation because the employee at the desk was making a personal phone call. The driver-side windshield wiper was worn out and not effective. It was raining when I rented the cargo van, and it was very difficult to see. When I picked up the van, the gas gauge showed just below 1/4 of a tank. I filled it back up to the same point before returning it, but I was still charged for gas.

Steven PauletThe lights didn't work on the first trailer that I was assigned and the person helping me seemed unsure what to do. The 2nd trailer that I was assigned wasn't clean - it had a bunch of tree debris in it that I needed to clear out before I could use it. The belt on the appliance supply that I rented had apparently been cut short by someone and it was just barely long enough to reach around the refrigerator that I needed to move. Then, when I returned my rentals, I pulled into the marked return area and waited as the sign said. The same guy who checked me out came out the front door, looked right at me, and then walked into the shop and didn't come out. I waited a bit and then got out of my truck and went to the shop and asked for check in help. His response was, "oh, would you like to check in?". Not too impressed with this location based on this experience.

Craig LaramoreHad to jump the uhaul 3 times myself with my personal car. Everytime I turn the truck off it needed a jump. I couldn't fill the tank back to its level because I didn't want to jump the truck again. When I returned the truck the tested the battery an found out the transmission was going out that's why the battery was dying. Only could give me a discount on the gas that was less than a gallon which I was told was 5.50 will not rent with this location again

HERLEY WAITS | Overall Experiencemy only complaint is that the uhaul website advertised a package that was not sold in the store location as an actual package (the 1-2 bedroom kit). the poor employees had to go around the store gathering appropriate items from the online package to match it. reconsider this. the employees do not have enough time to be doing that kinda crap just cuz y'all don't know how to properly stock your locations with the options displayed on your site. employees were wonderful, though. very patient and nice about having to do that extra work.

DOUG HAAGCost of $0.90 a mile for a small 10 ft truck seems quite steep and may consider other options in the future despite the very clean and excellent service. Drove large but light weight racking to Green Bay and back around 310 miles and billed over $360, seems a bit excessive.

William Fry | Overall ExperienceI believe you guys need more help around there and maybe should consider hiring a handyman to pick up what other clients left behind such as trash, tables, boxes, etc Hire someone for a couple of hours a week to help the staff with cleaning up. The staff is great but doing a million things at once, so I can understand how they run out of time for cleaning up. But amongst anything please keep the bathroom clean, stocked with toilet paper, floor disinfected and soap should be available to wash your hands. Other than that this place does well and the staff is friendly, personable, and willing to help you at the drop of a dime. And I respect that in a business. Keep up the good work!

Everything else was fine but they really lacked on the move out portion of everything. I did have to not pay, so bonus points for that.

This leak was first reported in the spring of 2022, but when we came back in June, the roof was not repaired and the damage had spread. We had to throw out five boxes of kitchen supplies, electronics, and appliances worth $700.

Also, when filling out my paperwork they did not put MY information on it instead used a person name who I used my credit card to rent a van from in the past. His name is Karl my name is Krista, and I am a female it should have been obvious that I was not Karl. So, I had to come back and have them change the paperwork. Even then after giving the agent my drivers license with my exact information on it he spelled my name wrong. So, when I went to correct it on my account on the website it put me as an alternate storage unit user. Can you please fix this on my information because a second party will be paying this bill and they need my information to be correct. Thank You! . . Overall a good customer service experience, but a few things could be improved.

He did not even seem sorry nor try to help or offer us anything else for the storage unit being used. Therefore, we had to find a different place last minute. My ID # does not open restroom at loading dock. I interacted with six staff people over many visits and all give excellent customer service experience: friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Appreciate. Will rent here again and recommend to others.

MARY WALSVICK | First ImpressionsEverything was excellent except the parking spots in the loading bay (inside, where you can back your car up to the ledge) were often very dirty. Things like dirty masks and food wrappers were almost always laying around, and often we'd find sharp items like nails, screws, etc. that we'd have to pick up before pulling in. This reduced the convenience (and it was a little gross.) Other than that though, we were very happy with our experience there. The interior was always very well maintained, I always felt safe and like my stored items were safe. Super convenient location and accessibility. Staff were always great, very nice, knowledgeable, and professional.

I expected more out of the upgraded and more expensive climate controlled space. It’s indoors after all!

I also called a week before the move-in date to confirm that I still had the reservation. When I arrived on the move-in date, the staff member told me that the reservation "didn't mean anything" and could only get a unit if one was available. Thankfully there was a unit free, but if this was not the case, I would have been left stranded with all of my belongings in a truck and no moving help. Provided this staff member is correct, this is an absurd way to organize a storage facility. At no time when I talked with UHaul representatives before my move was I warned that I was not guaranteed a storage unit with a reservation. Moreover, why is it called a "reservation" if a unit is not "reserved" for you? Because of the gross misuse of this word and poor communication on the part of UHaul, I recommend that others should NOT use UHaul for storage.

I had Two Men and a truck with all my belongings in the truck and no storage left! I got immediate storage through Uhaul and with my circumstances as they were Em made a call to her supervisor and surprised me with not only a free month for the trouble another company put me through , but also had the keys to the unit and a lock ready to go when we arrived. I cannot tell you how grateful and appreciative I am for your incredible customer service, you staff’s attention to the details and the speed with which it was delivered means to me! A horrible experience elsewhere was immediately turned around, got me back on track with my move and made me feel like I was being treated with above and beyond service. These two young ladies were incredible to work with and my friend that was with me said exactly the same. She will need help with storage for her daughter in the future and we will only do business with U-Haul from here on out. Your staff gained two loyal customers. Thank you!!!

huy tran | First ImpressionsAll is good with this storage facility except one current issue: there is a 3-5 inch divot across the entire width of the entrance drive to the facility that is obviously from when the wiring for the new light-up entrance signage was installed. The issue is that you have to drive across the divot to get into the facility, and no vehicle (personal car or U Haul truck) can go over the divot without serious rocking. This inevitably rattles items being moved around quite a bit and is a danger to the suspension and undercarriage of some smaller cars making using this facility not only annoying but also dangerous to fragile items being moved. This specific issue is why I would currently not recommend anyone use this facility. It is that big of a problem

However, I thought that meant that I was guaranteed the unit I reserved. We drove 3 hours with a packed car and trailer only to find out that that was not the case. I had to rent two 5'x7' units to accomodate SOME of our things and had to bring the rest home again. When taking a reservation, your representatives should tell people that doesn't guarantee the unit they think they are getting. Disappointing.

However before the moving in date that is supposed to be I still got emails about the details so I was very confused and contacted customer support. They say that it was a system error because according to their records at my homepage I do not have any active orders for now. However in July I got a late notice that is charging me for $60. I was very confused because I’ve already confirmed with the customer support that I have already cancel my order and I have never been to U-Haul. I called the customer supports that has always been busy, sent an email that I did not even get in single reply after 10 days as for now, and for some reasons the live chat link would not work for me after trying different browsers and enabling the pop ups. Finally I found a number that is for the Madison facility so that I don’t have to call the official customer support and a guy help me to resolved the issue. Very poor customer service and very confusing.

Then I wasn’t allowed access to unloading dock/ building even tho I did exactly as told. It apparently was the unit I rented. Augh! Then On Monday I asked for same exact unit size with access, Adam reassigned me and when I took the first load of items in to it, there was a huge column taking up a large amount of space inside my unit. So, I had to switch back to former unit so I no longer have 24 hr access. Needless to say, this has all been a big hassle and has wasted a lot of my time and energy and my RV was overloaded with weight much longer than expected due to no access Sunday and the air wasn’t working there at Packers(leak) so I couldn’t even get air in my tires to put them back to normal. Staff was friendly and I was pretty grouchy after dealing with this for 3 days(Sat-Sun-Mon). However, I’m STILL wondering why some units cannot have 24 hr and garage access set up?!!? Seems very illogical. And inconvenient to always have to ask staff to open garage door for me since it’s difficult for me to do stairs, and not doable with heavy items which I need to use a cart. Waste of time for both of us. Can’t they just set up a code for me to access the garage bay? I asked about this and the guy working said I’d have to speak to the gentleman who left and I suggested we call him and he said he wouldn’t answer. Not good customer service. Very frustrating! I also encountered another customer who also had a big column in her storage unit and was also not warned. The guy working said they didn’t know which units had these. The map or computer system seems very outdated & inefficient as he had no way to search for other available units of the same size he said. WTF?!!? I would be very reluctant to recommend this place to a friend unless they wanted a lot of hassles potentially. Unfortunate. It looks clean and is large but obviously needs better management and an updated computer program.
