the service lady did not value my time as she was trying to serve two customers at the same time. She should finish my paperwork first as I was in front of the other customer.

The worst experience of my life. The return of the truck was very stressful. I arrived 10 minutes after the closing time and 20 minutes before my return time but the app doesn't work. The employee who was at the place treated me badly. The employee didn't understand anything about the app, he didn't know about the app. I don't explain anything, I don't explain the process, I don't explain what I should do, I just leave myself standing there with the key in my hand. I practically made myself of the place. I would never use this service again. I was afraid of the employee.

dewaughm hThe staff are mostly friendly and nice, but they are poorly trained. Every step of my transaction (renting a van, selecting a storage space, renting the storage space, even using the key card to access the storage area) seemed to take three try’s as the staff tried to figure out how things work. They did their best, but it is clear that they need additional training. In addition, upon returning my van, the check in staff, who I took to be the manager noticed a nail in a tire. She charged me $150 (the deductible) for a new tire. This nail was almost certainly picked up in U-Haul’s parking lot. I drove about 10 miles during my rental—primarily on residential streets on a Sunday. By FAR the dirtiest, most trash strewn road I drove on was the U-Haul parking lot—especially the loading dock area which was covered with trash. Overall, my experience was TERRIBLE. I will recommend to everyone I know to go elsewhere for rental and storage needs.

MATTHEW JThe equipment was fine and the employees very helpful and upbeat. The placement of the upper storage units should've been thought out on a more practical standpoint. I'm just glad that this is really short term, less than a month. There is no mezzanine or elevator to the upper units. You have to use warehouse style ladders to carry your items up the unit. The unit I was given was right at the end of the row near the hvac unit hanging from the ceiling making access to the unit very awkward. The code in the app to get to the storage area didn't work so had to walk around the building to get assistance. I was told I needed a key card and was provided one and walked to the back doors. When the agent tried the card, it didn't work either. He went back to the front to see about fixing it. Came back and it didn't work either. I left without the card because I knew that when I came back to retrieve my things, employees would be on site.
Gwendolyn TChange the oil in the truck, soon. The warning light came on each time I started the engine. Also, fix the printer in your office.
Eric BYour policy of sending the rental agreement by text is not helpful. I got the text to go to a website when I was out at the nursery picking up the trees and did not have time or signal to do that. Also it is very hard to read a document like that on the tiny screen of a cell phone. I know the printer was broken at the rental office, but I think the paperless policy just makes customers appear to agree to conditions without actually seeing what they are agreeing to.
Christine GI basically was ripped off. I was owed money back. The General Manage told me I had 57 dollars coming back to me. When I went to pick it up there was no record of it. Long story short then she said I owed 51 dollars as I continue to have them show me in detail how that was possible. I never got a straight answer. Next another person states I have 5 dollars coming back which is still not correct. I will continue to get what’s do to me back. The manager was very rude & disrespectful to me. I will never use this service again and I will let my friends and family know about my experience with U-haul

Kris TBooking my UHaul went well initially and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately I was charged for equipment pads that I never received. I called the Ucity location to notify them and I was placed on hold for 40 minutes, a staff member never returned my call. I called customer service and was transferred multiple times before I finally spoke with someone. I was then told reservations can only be updated within 30 minutes of Uhaul pick up. I would not recommend this location or Uhaul customer service.

JOSEPH TTruck pickup and drop off processes were fast and easy. After receiving my email receipt, however, I noticed that I had been charged $15 for Safemove insurance coverage, something that I did not wish to purchase and I specifically recall removing from my online order. There was no mention of this charge at the counter. I feel like I was duped out of this charge and a $15 refund is in order and would resolve my issue.
Joseph KI tried to return truck on app and it kept gearing hung up on "location". I had to leave, and the went back and checked truck in on web, which worked, but had already locked truck and deposited keys, so couldn't take picture of mileage and gas. Was very frustrated.

Insurance paid monthly doesn't cover water damage of any kind. Unable to access my unit after office hours due to broken door latch. Even though approx. a foot of water leaked into my unit and I had to dispose of most items that was on the floor, staff were extremely helpful with boxing things that could be saved, preventing more water from entering the unit, and providing movers to relocate my items to another location.
