1hr wait time, and when finally got helped the trailer lights did not work at times, another trailer was given Instead, while it was hooked up another customer had it put on hold and had to unhook. Took the original trailer and repaired the wiring at home. Showed the the attendant when I came back and he seamed thankful I did his job(his own words). Rental was due at 4pm and brought back by 1:30pm,and attendant told me same price was going to be the final receipt,also trailer was used to move a tool cart in highway no garbage or gravel road driven over. At 5:30pm received the receipt with and extra $15 cleaning fee. I didn’t move garbage and no off roads used. Sadly first bad experience in this facility.

The only problem was that the original contract said the vehicle had 1/2 tank. When we checked out the truck it only had 1/4. The manager said he would change it inside and text me the new contract which he never did. We had to pay for the extra 1/4 tank.

The location that I picked this unit up from was my 2nd stop, the first location I stood around for about thirty minutes, third person in a line of nine people, only one customer rep working the counter, the location on 15315 Pacific Ave was great, the general manager went out of way to make sure I was satisfied. *****

I got charged $150.00 more because a rock hit the windshield on my trip. I am sure u haul gets these fixed for much less through their insurance. Very ticked off customer. My 130.00 rental cost me 280.00

Only problem I had is I called for more time I was charged for 24 hour more then got 5 phone calls and a threatening message that if the trailer wasn’t turned in by 3 PM, they would have to take urgent matters in this case so I guess they had rented the trailer to someone else for the day at 3 PM but yet I was charged for a 24 hour period which means I should be able to kept the trailer for 24 more hours and returned it the following day at 9 AM so I didn’t appreciate the nasty voicemail . They said if I don’t get it back there maybe additional charges as low as $50 more . I guess when I called to extend my time they should have told me 3 pm is the latest we can rent it to you . I was stuck on the freeway about 70 miles away waited on a tow truck to fix a flat so I was at the mercy of the tow truck company of how fast they could come out and help me.

Everything in the end was good there where bumps in the beginning where I was being charged for two units due to a employees mess up nd didn’t get reimbursement which later I learned was a scam never seen the employee again and everything from there was good.

Storage units are not very tall, and the storage unit at this location is not even secure. The locking set up is really poor, I don't think that the lock I put on it is even gonna help secure my belongings. The facility is poorly maintained and needs to be remodeled or completely redone. The price for the storage unit for 10x10 unit is not worth it or risking my belongings being stolen in that location. I will be looking for a different storage unit elsewhere, and move to a better storage unit for the same price.

I just move out march 31 2023 just asking if their is any discount or re imburse for the remaining manager said no so no consideration at all for the remaining days that we are not using the storage we paid the storage on march 22 2023 taking iut right away to our account i hope in the future you can give consideration to people espicially we used this storage for 4 years now the storage we came from is now empty its vacant then you can charge full amounth to the nex custumer this is not fair for the people like us living paycheck to paycheck i hope this policy of yours will change in the future coz youre not in our situation let say will reverse the situation you are in my foot what is your comment but anyway thank you for the 4 years we used the storage in your company i hope someday you have a good heart and consideration for your customer

Worker complained that he wasn't getting any money on the renting of the storage unit because of the free month. He went on to say that the next person that comes in to use a Free Month he was going to tell them to go somewhere else. I had already called and set up the rental unit through the main U haul number so it should not have come up as a surprise. This was especially hard to listen to because this move was emotional.

When I first walked in the younger lady was quite rude when I said "Hey! I have a reservation for a unit..." She just said hi... and turned to the other worker (who was actually very nice) and asked her if there was a reservation. I eventually got my unit, paying 99.95 a month is also quite ridiculous for such a tiny unit.

On the due date for my payment for storage I painted in the morning secured another storage area and went to get a refund for the storage that I had at U-Haul and was told that they could not would not give me a refund it hadn't even been 2 hours since I paid the thing and they wouldn't give me my money back so ended up stealing $250 from me I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone you are thieves.

Overall the experience was good. Several times doors were not unlocked so you had to go to the office to have them unlock the big double doors. When you did have to go to the office the lines were slow because there was not enough people working. The staff was ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Which is why I would use that facility again.

The Clerk was very friendly and helpful. It took me less than 30mins to access my unit and begin transferring my goods into my storage cubicle. I am very satisfied on how Uhual stream lined the paperwork when you reserve your unit online. Be prepared and have all your stuff ready. You should have no issues with service.

The unit sizes are false advertisement. The unit I got says for 3 bd home my mother is in a 2 bd apartment and still will not fit everything. They did not disclose that we can enter the unit after office hrs until everything was said and done.

The young gentleman who helped me get a larger storage room on Thanksgiving was so friendly, funny and helpful. He was overv6 ft tall, but walked into my new room and checked all the walls for nails, even though he had to duck down. U haul is highly recommended by me

I communicated with them several times over my unit, billing, removal of items, and when the unit would be returned only to be questioned several times and find my access revoked in the middle of a billing period that they tried to authorize a charge for without permission. Currently telling everyone i know NOT to work with this company.

Service was horrible. A manager should never give quotes/prices to anyone if she is not sure about the prices. I felt lied to, disrespected, and threatened by her Customer Service actions telling me that the price is the price and if I didn’t want it that she could just cancel my contract. No professionalism. No integrity. She also did not apologize for her actions of the prices she offered me or for giving me the wrong price. False advertisement. Defrauding a disable person. Manager states $74.95. At ring up charges $99.95 when she was specifically asked for a space down stairs to accommodate disability. No follow up from other managers to address and fix concerns. Every person you try to get help from is rude or is not willing to go above and beyond to retain customer satisfaction. No follow up from corporate office.

Your online service leaves much to be desired. It showed no credit for the initial payment that I made. It showed an increase in the amount that was decided upon. So I really don't know what I owe at this point which makes me upset. Since the way I work leaves me with the online service to use this really hinders me being able to use your facility.

I payed and rented on line,a storage unit. I was unable to get into bldg. Not anything but an inconvience all in all.I had to walk back to the office 3 times ,Their were no locks as directed,their are rat traps in the unit itself(gross) and storage room is absolutely filthy. There was a brand new employee there when I moved my stuff in. It was 3 minutes to 7pm and I had a lot of stuff left to move. He comes up to me and says in a condescending tone “this place closes in 3 minutes, you need to wrap this up.” I told him that I thought the access was 24/7 and he replied that it’s not anymore because people were caught living in their units. I’m upset that he talked to me the way he did and also because this place is advertised as open 24/7. That new employee also paints his nails white and has an ugly haircut.

There was some debris on the floor and outside the unit in the hall including a broken lock on the floor right outside the unit. There is also a rodent bait station which I guess I should assume Uhaul put that there and I should leave it there. An explanation would be helpful though. It is also a disposable one so I dunno if it's empty and should be thrown out. The Uhaul video explaining that the passcode is for a gate code and a door code. This location doesn't have a gate like in the video. It has two doors and three keypads for passcodes. Which seems weird. I had to try all three to figure out which two I am supposed to put the passcodes in. I also don't know if their is another entrance to the storage since there are so many Uhaul vehicles around the entire building. It is also a rental place so it is very hard to access the storage.

In 1 day on my move day,was rushed between 4 uhaul facilities,ended up with no truck like reserv,no boxes/2expen., &no unit for an unknown person attached to my name with some E alert.Loss this 800.00

This has been a complete headache. Uhaul was disgusting on pickup. We can’t get into the storage unit we rented. We will probably chose Penske for our next move to save the annoyance.

I am in debted to the staff at the Uhaul for all of their patience, understanding and assistance, but mostly for their service; true dedication to their customers.

Only one minor issue -- when trying to access the unit after hours (8 pm) I couldn't figure out how to open the sliding door and had to haul stuff in through the smaller pedestrian door.

I had to go in to arrange a 24 hour storage entry because of late work hours, when I did it wasn't an issue they gave it to me for a few day so I could sell some items.
