Systems were acting up apparently. Waited 45 minutes to rent a trailer. Ended up processing it by paper. Only need trailer for a few hours. Charged me incorrectly. Then returned a few hours late they tried charging me the difference of 1.66 that the taxes didn't account for but couldn't explain why I was being charged this amount. This again took over 20 minutes to leave. Wasted an hour in the store. Will not return.

Denis L | Overall ExperienceI can't believe how your prices have gone up, it's like booking a plane flight. How can a $20 a day van go over $117 for an hour and a half; and around 60 kilometres?? Plus I had to pay for the gas, which was another $35 on top of that, (I know that's not your problem - but still out of my pocket). Then given no strapping - which I then had to purchase too (on sale at $18.00). I would expect that when renting a moving truck, that some basic neccessities would be provided with it - for example a few blankets; a dolly; and some strapping too. I Paid an exorbatant fee on the insurance; (which I believe should be reimbursed if the vehicle is returned unscathed). Looking to nickel-and-dime; and squeeze whatever more pennies that you can squeeze out. I would have put a few bucks into your charity offer/request if I never had to pay out so much to you. I know that I was gouged because you guys have had bad experiences in the past - but I don't know why I should be punished for that. Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty". One last thing - I last used you guys around 9 years ago - WHY DO YOU STILL HAVE MY HISTORY AND PERSONAL DETAILS????!!!! I take my privacy deadly seriously and don't see why a vehicle rental company needs to keep a record of my Driver's License; name; address; email; phone number; etc. You are not the cops or the government!! Probably not gonna use you guys ever again - so PLEASE DELETE ME FROM YOUR SYSTEM!! Bye the way - ABBY L was really good and proffessional at her job though. Cheers

Mihail SCompared to the competition for clean units, our unit 100 had tons of spiderwebs on the door inside and all along the bottom. I've had storage units for vehicles and household items at the other uhaul and the competition where they swept daily throughout the yard and picked up garbage and pulled the weeds so everything didn't look old and well used. And the dust from the construction is ridiculous. Why don't you have a water truck on site. Esp when it's extra windy. And what is with the last unit is anyone's game even if you reserve it??? Whats the point of a registration??? It's not even fair to subject your employees to shocked and highly annoyed customers when they have trucks and trailers already rented from you, and suddenly nowhere to put their things because they had to go with their schedule for work etc. Something known about for weeks. Maybe a way of your company collecting on truck and trailer rentals for an extra day or two. Definitely not cool and I'd never recommend anyone for that reason alone. Can't be too legal either.

Jennifer HMy only complaint was that one of our two doors was never fixed. Therefore we could not use it because it would fall out of the track. We were promised a few times that repairs would be done but it never happened. The last time I asked I gave them my key only to find out that there had to be 4 or 6 feet cleared from the door in order to have it repaired so that it was usable. We had no where to put the items so that they could fix it. That’s why we got a storage unit in the first place because we had no where to put them. When we finally emptied our unit after all this time we couldn’t open the door at the other end because we knew the door would come out of the track again and would be dangerous and come out of the track. So it was difficult to empty it the way that we wanted to because we could only work from one end. We rented this unit for many years. I guess it would have been nice if the staff or owner would have moved out the things that were in the way of them fixing the door since it wasn’t our fault that the door was broken and we did not have full access to the storage unit that we were paying for. That was never offered to us. Disappointing.

The worker went checked and came back, closes out my rentel and gave me a receipt. I asked about my refund and they told me that if i would have mentioned it before they closed the account they would have been able to reverse charges but since they had already closed it i couldn't get a refund and would have to wait until monday to speak to the manager. Hopefully we can resolve this asap.

joe lIssue: 1) The first day of check in was not great. Looks like the system was glitching( according to the service rep) and had to wait a very long time to check in. Also never received the actual storage space Size after booking it and getting it confirmed online. When asked the service rep he had no proper answer to that on why it happened. Had to pay extra and get another space which wasn't great. After that lengthy time consuming process, to my surprise he provided me a room , upon check in and whe going to open after all that hassle figured out it was occupied by someone else with a lien tag on it for non payment. Then I had to go back to him and he later switched me to another unit that was empty. Overall a very negative check in experience with multiple error for check- in, but the service rep tried his best and I understand the limitation from his end if his system didn't co-operate. 2) The unit never had a proper working light in it. Pro: 1) Check out process was simple and easy. 2) Location and storage access was convenient

I drive a standard so I automatically put on the park brake. Not thinking and not being told otherwise, I tried to drive away and entered a busy Walker Rd. only to hear my tires screeching and had to stop and run back to remove the parking brake. Lots of traffic coming my way and blocking half of the road it wasn't a great position to be in.

Though the staff were helpful and friendly, on two occasions requests were not carried out the first time. An old lock from the previous owner had to be removed and it took a few requests to have it removed. Also, when we were finished with the unit, we informed the attendant who neglected to enter the information in the computer. Hence we recieved a payment request a few days later which required me to follow up on.

Jean & | Overall ExperienceStaff are courteous however I was very disappointed with hygiene practices on site. None of the staff, including manager, wore PPE. This situation is not unique to the South Walker Rd location - I have been extremely disappointed with the Dougall Rd location. Yesterday, only one staff person at Dougall wore a mask - a young male. Neither Sammy or his young female staff wore masks for which I was very vocal about. I praised the young male for doing his part but the rest of the staff‘s negligence is inexcusable and potentially very dangerous. Today I returned to the Dougall location to find all without masks and told Sammy that I would report his location if he failed again. The Pandemic is not a joke. The Windsor/Essex County area has the highest per capita Covid infectious rate in the province of Ontario. A plexiglass barrier does not replace a mask especially in a city that mandates all to wear a mask. As an excuse, the young female defended her actions stating “I always wear a mask...” for which I stopped her from finishing because her current work hygiene exempts her from wearing A mask. I reminded Sammy that his door has a sign stating that all who enter must wear a mask - how does this not apply to them?
