Everything went well. I was very happy with my rental.
tkeyah oWas offered a compensation to transport a trailer from New York to Ohio and the only compensation I got was they added a day of my rental and took it off when I returned to the day and needed to be returned I got no compensation whatsoever and it deep in my pockets gas wise and nothing was given to me in return but a charge to my card extra

RON PStaff was not willing to help me save my things when I was willing to pay they said it was too late even though it was before the auction. I've had this storage for a few years. I had a hardship in January when my husband lost his job and did fall behind. There was only one tote and some table legs and a few stray items. I'm sure you didn't make your money on an auction. I asked when and where so I could purchase my items and was told I couldn't have that information. I am extremely dissatisfied. After years of paying my storage they wouldn't help at all.

Marvin CI arrived to return the truck during business hours. There was a sign saying that somebody would be out to help me check in the truck. Nobody ever came out, so I ended up doing the check in through my phone.

Sherlyn WTruck smelled like dirty cigarettes. Owner/manager of location was unpleasant and not customer service oriented. Truck had engine light come on, oil level alerts, and experienced a tire blow out. Roadside assistance showed up and then drove off when I went to greet him.

Terrence SThe person running your store is incredibly inept in customer service. I listen to her talk to another patron who could not get into the other storage units down the road. She did not act as if she was concerned or even cared. I wanted to grab the phone and take over the call myself. The gate was not working and she just kept telling the lady there didn't seem to be anything wrong with her card. Once a second caller called in, to report the same issue, she realized it may be a system issue and she would call the general manager to see what could be done. Again, there was not a lot concern or what I would consider good customer service response from her. She was alone and this could have contributed to the issue. Lastly, taking a customer call on speakerphone with customers in the area is 100% wrong in my opinion. The lady in question says she was going to take her business elsewhere. I am not sure this is normal, but when I arrived to retrieve my rental, she said I would get a text and from that text I could get the reservation started. This may be standard practice but seems odd to me. I had to take a selfie and agree that my image would be in your system. This is not something I really want to happen, but I wasn't in a position to deny it as I needed the rental. I will consider another location for my next rental needs. I would hate to have an issue and have to work with this lady to get things accomplished. The trailer I picked up did not have working brake lights. The rest of the lights worked fine. I have a meter at my light output and all systems were nominal. I went ahead and took the trailer because I didn't want to have to deal with this person in any capacity, seeing how she handled the other customers. I am not sure what kind of day she was having, but this shouldn't excuse her clear disregard for customer service and empathy I hope she will be able to adjust and learn from this report.
Jeff CThe staff at this location were beyond helpful. Everything from hooking up the trailer, helping me check the inside, and making sure the lights were functioning. They were all amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. When I returned the trailer they assisted me with backing it up into the location they wanted it at. I was in and out fast and again everyone was friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this location enough.
KYLE MReservation was made online & confirmation number received. We arrived at the designated location to be told they didn’t have the cargo van we reserved, “someone must have made a reservation at the same time you did”. We were given a number to call to check availability in other locations, and we made a reservation for a 10 ft truck at a location 20 minutes away. When we arrived, we were again told they did not have the reserved vehicle. When the lady (and I use that term very loosely) gave the (almost word for word) same excuse, “someone must have made the reservation at the same time you did,” we were incredulous. The odds of that happening twice within 30 minutes seem very remote. No apologies were offered, no effort to help us trouble shoot a solution. We ended up with a much bigger vehicle than we needed, and this will be the last time I use Uhaul. I will say that the truck was clean, and the man who checked us back in was efficient and nice. But the reservation process was horrible, and the customer service was nonexistent.

Darryl MI was dropped off to pick up a rental truck. At the counter, I found out I would need a phone to complete the rental process. I was not informed of this before my arrival. I did not bring my phone. So, I had to have the worker call my wife and then wait for her to arrive. Also, I found it disappointing that I had to do all of the processing of checking out the truck and checking the gas gauge before I left.
Josh RWhen calling to reserve a trailer the first location they sent me to wasn't even open so we wasted time a d gas because they sent us 30 min out of our way then had to drive 45 min to next location with several phone calls in between.

Steven SI've rented several times from this location and the other close to my home (2 miles). The most recent time I rented a truck it was raining out and I purchased two large appliances. I returned the truck with the correct amount of fuel, spot on for mileage. Apparently there was some dirt from the wheel dolly moving the appliances, I was told to pay 50 dollars. I didn't have to rent from you i could of used my neighbors truck just waited another day or rented from home depot which was cheaper but I didn't. Now I will because its crap that a little dirt or mud I was charged 50.00. The location was convenient but that was a pathetic charge and now I dont care if I need to go a little further down the road. Thamks

Tracy SMaintain your trailers. Handle broke off the trailer jack then I got charged over hundred dollars for something that I couldn't of done. Had to call my father to bring me a floor jack so I could get it off my truck. Terrible experience

Monika DMore U Haul locations should offer someone to return a vehicle if they're only using it one way I had to go out of my way to come to this location on South Detroit to drop it off and then I get a text the next day they're charging me over $11 I'm assuming it's for gas although I stopped and put gas in the vehicle to put the gauge back up to halfway is what I had when I got it in Bowling Green so I don't know why I got charged more

When returning the truck at the end of the business day, there was a group of other customers complaining that they were over charged. We were also overcharged, but I called during business hours the next day and I am supposed to get refunded.

Saturday afternoon I received a call that I needed to go to a different location to pick up the truck adding about 10 miles to my day. When I showed up the front door was open and no one inside. After waiting about 10 minutes, I called the location hoping maybe someone would pick up...nothing. Called the 800# - no answer. About 20 minutes after walking in the front door an employee came in...crazy. Also, when I filled out all of the info on line reserving the truck it stated I just need to have my cell and could finish the process on my phone....that was not an option. Had to give most of my information again...Really a frustrating experience.
Michael WCharged me for a free month and said won’t close my unit until I pay something. I had a card in file. I say we’re even! Would not recommend Uhaul in general.

If you’re taking things out of the storage unit in the building and they’re parked in the exit and cleaning or inspecting a returned vehicle then we’re stuck waiting for them to finish. I waited 20 minutes for them to move a truck so o could leave. It was 2 employees this particular day, an employee and the manager.

During the day when people are working there, I think they have too many things to do at the same time. I do try to be nice and they try to be helpful but people cannot do five things at once. with better prices much better prices so I think we may move because of the price situation also, not sure the doors are fully secure at night and even during the day. in the scope of their duties, everyone who works there really is as helpful as they possibly can be but I think each one of them needs an assistant -it’s not them it’s the nature of the business – you have no idea what the public is like and there are a lot of rather rough people that come in and their circumstances are difficult so they are already pretty stressed.

I've used many services from this location including hitches, propane gas and truck and trailer rental and I will continue to recommend to friends and family. One and only complaint is the storage locker monthly fee kept rising dramatically even for long term customers.

Didn't realize it costs 100 to use the dumpster. Went inside and told them I had thrown some of my garbage belongings in and asked how I could get them out. They laughed and offered me no help. Like a ladder or something would've done. I have a bad back. Then when we (my parents) asked how to cancel the unit use they said the manager wouldn't be in til the next day. So I called this morning and they said try back Monday. I was so bummed they had lied After my mom spoke to them somehow a manager was able to help. Let's just say I'm glad I'm out of U-Haul and I won't be referring anyone to them

Unfortunately I can not remember their names:/ any concern I had the daughter reassured me and made this the best experience I ever had with uhaul, or any other moving company for that matter. I was highly impressed on how busy they were and yet the daughter was able to keep up and make everyone still feel like only they had all of her focus. The daughters service was definitely a 10/10. Thanks to her, I will gladly recommend this location to all of my friends and family!

It mysteriously turned up by the dumpster a week later with all of the cash missing. The manager refused to look at the security tapes to see how it got there. There was no time for anyone except a staff member to take the purse out of the truck.
