The only thing I wish the truck had would be a direction North, S, E, W indicator.
james bThe only issue we had was that the secure locks / shipping brackets that were put in place by U-haul for transit were not removed so the container could be opened on the receiving end. They had to pry it open. I would use the U-box again. It was so much easier than having to drive a truck from point A to point B out of state.

Chris MFilm on windshield prevented me from seeing in rain when car lights shined behind me. Acted like window was fogged. No lights in return area which was scary . Also no covered space ti rerun left and your after hours process is obnoxious in the pouring down rain. Light in back if vehicle didn’t work. I think you guys should offer me a credit for the awful and dangerous experience. Not happy at all.

Wayne LAlways rent from this location. It's always been a great experience. I was surprised at this rental today, it was dirty,dusty,and smelled. But I will rent from them again. Always have what I need when I need it.
LAWRENCE JI was not satisfied that I was given a truck with a side mirrors that was broken (huge accident waiting to happen) I was a bit more irritated because I paid the extra fee for insurance but I could not receive a fully functioning truck . The workers were nice and pleasant
Meagan GThis location in Saginaw was AMAZING - the personnel were helpful, response, caring, and proactive. The people themselves and their assistance were incredible. So if you have to use Uhaul, this is the location to go to! However - our overall Uhaul experience was horrendous to the point that we would NOT recommend Uhaul to others and will likely not use them again - especially the self service check in/check out we did at the Bridgeport location! The Bridgeport rental was one of the worst rental experiences we've ever had, and a lot of it had to do with a lack of communication from uhaul overall (the automated emails did not contain useful information). For example, we were not told we'd need to have either a lease, passport, or two people to call to verify our identity and that was a huge hassle, especially because that uhaul location was in a terrible service area where we had hardly any phone coverage making the process take a very long time. There was no way to indicate that a vent inside the vehicle was missing in the app, so we just had to trust that we wouldn't be charged for it. In addition, we ended up having to pay double for our trip due to some communication inaccuracies from the Uhaul schedule team as well as the original pick up location in Bridgeport being closed that day, and our desire to add insurance. Because no one was at the location, we couldn't add insurance on, and because the next nearest location took us more than 30 minutes to get to, we missed the 30-minute window to add it, and ended up having to return the vehicle, and re-rent it out. This was awful as it meant we paid TWICE for the same trip.
JORDAN PThe Windshield's and windows dirty and truck outside the vehicle was dirty. The heat control does not work in the vehicle. I should be refunded some of my money.

Mary S | First ImpressionsOn 4/2/24, I rented a truck from the store on Bay rd Saginaw, MI. After returning the truck to the store on time, there was an issue with returning my $100 deposit. During the verbal communication with the manager or supervisor, things began to escalate. At some point, he used a curse word toward us, which I thought was very unprofessional in the presence of his staff and other customers. The problem was resolved once the attended who helped me in the beginning returned inside the store. The manager or supervisor whoever he is, needs to work on his communication skills when dealing with the public. Very unprofessional.
Prentis HThe gentleman working in the lot was extremely efficient. He had a place for me to place the trailer and he had me unhooked with an emailed receipt very quickly.

Glen SThe app is not user friendly. It would not scan the QR code to return the trailer. After multiple attempts on two different phones, and two different QR codes (the one on the trailer and the one on the pamphlet I was given) I did an online chat, which was not much more helpful, but at least told me I could do it on the website. After logging into my account online, it could not find my reservation and stated that I had no previous rentals. I was finally able to return the trailer by using the number on the order. It should not have taken me over 30 minutes to self check in a trailer. Either make the technology work like it should, or allow it to be checked back in, in the morning, without charging a ridiculous fee.
Thomas EI find it concerning that they take a photo of you and your license at this location but nothing is posted to say this will be done. Nice rented here multiple times and at other locations . This is the first Time I experienced this and the employee said it was being done due to theft . When I questioned it she said the owner says they need to do it and not every location follows this rule but they do .
Amy BSaginaw location was not really helpful in answering questions i had about UBoxes. They were understaffed and not willing to take time with me. The Lansing office that actually handled the boxes were very helpful and the driver who delivered and picked them up was incredible
Garrison BWas told prior to our arrival that they had a storage large enough for my 26ft truck but only had a 10x10 when I arrived so I had to go to a Storage down the street for the other half of my household.

Heath BThe Uhaul employees that I have met have been very good albeit busy. Uhaul’s business practices stink.. My confirmed reservations are always changed, last minute, and terms are changed as well. Looking at the huge number of emails I got from Uhaul, I ended up with 3 different prices. When I returned the vehicle both Uhaul help center and the Uhaul facility were closed. There were no signs or instructions on where to park or what to do. I had to decide if I wanted to pay money for someone to check my vehicle in after sitting in an unsecured lot for 2 days or use an app. The app took a few times to download, and awhile to work through. I have used Uhaul multiple times and have been left only marginally satisfied each and every time.

The truck that I use that headlight was not working correctly and I did not know because I didn’t do a check with the staff before I left with the truck and the brakes were skipping, and I informed them as well when I return the truck, but overall it was good

Nancy FThe 10 ft. Truck I rented only had 1 windshield wiper.. the passenger side didn't work at all. I told them I would still drive it because all I was doing was picking up a mattress and would be back in an hour. After the truck warmed up and I had the heat on high.. the inside of the cab smelled like fish.. like dead fish.. I had to drive with the window down. Now I have rented from this location many times.. and the customer service is outstanding and they are fast and friendly. This particular truck was less than pleasant. I would and do suggest others use this location based on their outstanding customer service alone.
JEFFREY SAlthough I didn’t have a bad experience with this location, I did have a horrible experience with Uhaul Ubox customer service/department. Never, ever again. I was surprised to come across the number of incompetent agents who cannot help me with one issue 🤔.
Adrianna PThe truck wasn’t cleaned off it was covered in snow. There was supposed to be a dolly and furniture pads included but none of it was. However, my issue is with U-Haul itself, not particularly this location because I had to go to this location at the last minute since the vehicle I was supposed to be renting was inaccessible. I was also double charged which I was told I would not be.

This resulted to me getting locked out of the building while I was still unloading and had to take an extra day to unload and drive 5 hours. This entire experience was garbage and has cost me 400 bucks and U-Haul thinks they are going to charge me for miles but I will not or I will get my 400 I am owed. Will never move with U-haul ever again.

Then after my First load because I’m currently in a law suite I took pictures befor and after I left and the first trip! Came back and things where different. Bulta where missing and the storage unit next to me has a unit with electricity running from it to my unit. I spoke the manager about it and she told me The was medication and a fridge that needed to be ran in that unit. Then I told her that just seemed weird because we where not allowed to to that. She said they paid extra and there was a camera in the unit as well. Well why do u need a camera in the unit of you ha e them in ever corner or hall of th storage place? Little writes to me. I asked to change units and I did. Came back to the new unit and same thing. My property where moved and the structure of my unit was different. Very strange and in easy. The workers keep saying no one can get in so it makes me question is it the employees who are messing with the units themself! After I complained manager was very rude and said I couldn’t do anything unless I had pictures. I told her yes and she got mad and Walked off. Why would you be so mad at me about figuring out why things are being messed with? I didn’t want to question any more and could tell she was not interested in my Issue the manager that is. Then they guy that helped me Saturday was nice but when I went on Monday to address my Fees still on there him hisself gor mad and said whatever and walked away.
