not sure of the process of leasing but I feel it would be more beneficial if the equipment you lease/rent would be pulled up front rather than you having to go locate it
gracie fordGet better servailliance so your workers don't have to deal with ppl stealing gas from the trucks, I felt bad for the worker because he kept having to reassign trucks to us, related to all trucks being out of gas from someone stealing the gas from the trucks the night prior.. the worker is very good and helpful and was working very hard, thank you Uhaul, we love yall!

Ronnie MillerNever went in the office. We arrived to drop off the truck as the worker was just leaving. He looked at us several times, not saying anything as he walked back and forth. I couldn’t locate the place on my phone to return it electronically.. Then the man finally said, as we were looking for the place to drop the key, to drop the key in the door and they would take care of it in the morning.

However, I was just given keys and my receipt and told to go find my truck in a whole parking lot of trucks with the number he gave me. (Every other u haul I’ve ever rented the person went with me to the truck and made sure I was all set.) I also rented a dolly which was not in the truck like it was supposed to and then I had to go back into the store for that. For what usually takes me about 15 minutes to actually pick up a truck took me 45 minutes so I was not pleased with this location.

I was not able to get the truck I reserved I had to settle for something smaller which caused me to have to do more trips so U-Haul made more off me since I had to drive extra miles.

I started checking in on the phone because although the location was open there was a guy sitting on the ground by the building not paying any attention. After about 10 minutes while I was already checking myself in he came out and started to check me in but then he disappeared. Come to find out it was 6:00 p.m. and he just left and didn't say anything and just walked off and went home. Wasted time trying to find out if the truck was actually checked in.

I am very, very, very unhappy. I have been a Uhaul client for over 20 years but this is my last experience.

Veneisa Adams | Overall ExperienceOnce I got to the 1st fort worth uhaul storage facility the owner was an absolute monstrosity. There was a storm the night prior and he was not able to provide any assistance. I ask did he have any way of contacting another facility to ask if they were good and he stated no in an unprofessional manner while he had his cell phone on his belt buckle. Then my father attempted to talk to him in which th guy started to talk under his breathe acting as if he wanted to have a confrontation. We contacted uhaul in which they sent us to another facility. Once we got to the other facility the unit that was available was not the size like it was advertised. A 10x10x8 cannot hold a 1200 to 1600 Sq ft apartment or home unless you literally have to stack everything to the ceiling. So I had to get 2 storage unit in order to just simply pack up my 1069 Sq ft 2 bedroom apartment. The employees at this facility that provided the facilities were not helpful at all and I made a comment stating I would never use uhaul again in which the employee stated I don't blame you. He over talked me as well Once I stated as an employee whybwould you say that and his response was laughing back at me. I asked if there was any discounts due to this not being my fault due to false advertisement on proper storage of Sq ft and he said not at all and he doesn't know where uhaul as a company get there measurements from basically insulting uhaul. Word and quote ""uhaul thinks every apartment is very conservative on what's in people's homes and doesn't understand what people may have."" Now instead of me paying 124 a month for a storage unit I'm now forced to pay 300 a month for 2 storage units! I will never be using uhaul again after I move officially in April or may time frame. Absolutely the worst experience I could have.

A u haul driver named Jerome also backed up into my personal vehicle while he was trying to park his car and proceeded to get out of his car and cuss me out. Once i told the U-Haul office this they did not seem to escalate the issue. Terrible experience and i will never be using U-Haul again.

It put me in a bind and I had to come out of extra money a month. Nonetheless, the staff was friendly, the unit was clean and they never tried to scam me. I had this unit for a year and never really had issues, only dealing with payment. If I ever moved back to Fort Worth, I would move back to the same Uhaul.

Patiently explained to me how to navigate the u-haul app. The long haired- young man that helped me afterwards with the storage rental was more quiet, like an introvert/ monotone person, but he too was very helpful, and explained everything regarding the storage. But what most impressed me, was his chivalrous mannerisms when he opened and held the door open for me, I was glad to see that chivalry is not dead in young people! Side Note: My interactions with the young lady at this location, is also A+ she has a very kind disposition. Gosh! Even the others that I encountered outside, who had a u-haul shirt on were very nice!! Like I said at the beginning "the staff is a direct representation of the manager." *Thank you.*

When I returned my lock was cut off and a round lock I didn't own was on my storage. After going to the front desk. I was told only round locks could be used. I was not told then when I bought storage locker and lock at the same time. While moving my things into the storage locker. My card was not activated properly and I could not open the door to the storage grounds. I had to hold onto several very large objects over night and wait for the front desk to open in order to get my card fixed. When I asked the front desk person is there any thing I should know cause I was not told about the lock. He said nothing and I asked him I can come back any time. He confirmed that I can go to my storage locker anytime of day or night. I returned later that night only to find out that was not true. My unit was only available to me during working hours and I could not access it at night. I had to upgrade in order to get night time access. Every step of the way using this location was horrible and unfriendly. Only one person there was any type of help.

I feel that we shouldn’t have to pay more to have 24 hour access to the facility if we have to pay more not to have it as well. Trying to talk to someone over the phone was a pain.
