First location was pretty much a chop shop second location didn’t inspect the trailer when it was returned and it had lighting and tire issues. Finally landed at this location after chasing after a trailer all day . This location was an average uhaul. Inside staff was busy and just trying to push people through as fast as they could. Outside staff was not very knowledgeable nor do they have anything to maintain a trailer . This entire experience was absolutely awful.

alvin jacksonThe truck was terrible! I booked the truck to go from Atlanta to Charlotte (4hr drive) 20 minutes after loading the truck the check engine light comes on and never went off. The brakes were terrible and it had been raining off and on all day and the windshield wipers were horrible! Very unsafe. I contacted customer service and all they said was they could send another truck however my truck was already loaded with very heavy furniture and was not going to unload my furniture on the side of the highway! I expected WAY better especially with paying almost $450 for a day rental! And still no one from with the pick up or drop off location called me!

When I called the location the lady said the general manager was gonna call me still ain’t heard from them it’s now Tuesday and he was supposed to give me a call Friday!!!!

Also the right back turn signal was not working at which was dangerous when getting over or making right turns. This was my 3rd rental this month and all trucks had and issue. The customer service is great, equipment not so good but do the job!!

Also, the truck was not clean as the inside of the van was sticky and I had to ruin my mop to clean it so that my furniture would not be damaged. Also, make sure that the trucks are full of gas.

Paul DesmaraisAdvise on the $15 cleaning fee. My $25 rental turned into $50 at the end and I was not even informed there was a cleaning fee for something that wasn’t getting dirty. Even car rentals advise you to bring back the same way to AVOID additional charges.

James JacksonI recommend you know where to drop off before just showing up. Returning the one-way rental was a pain in the rear and took over 2 hours. I showed up at the location I was supposed to drop off and was told his computer system was down. He helped find another location but they didn't know if they could take it. Huge headache. 2 hours later, I finally was able to return to a main location not too far away. I had to call U-Haul corporate to get them to change the reservation in the system so that I could return there.

I find this policy selfish and greedy. I will definitely need storage again next year as I will relocate again. As I travel I'm seeing more and more storage businesses who I'm sure want the business. I moved from GA back to Alabama. I needed my refund for gas, my birthday and food. UHaul KEPT my refund. That's okay. IT'S TIME FOR ME TO START USING and SUPPORTING OTHER STORAGE BUSINESSES. The storage space is EMPTY, but they held tightly to my REFUND. GREED can cause a reputable business to loose valuable customers. F around and find out!

On 05/25/23 my card was charged for June's rent. That should not have happened. I need this matter resolced before 30 days.

This was not told to me upon renting the unit. Getting through to the store is a joke, I have been at the gate unable to get in and called the office only to be on an extended hold and once I go into the store the ladies were sitting around talking and laughing. When I vacated the unit yesterday Fozzy was pleasant. Also for some inconvenience I experienced I was supposed to get a $10 gift card and/or credit that I never received. No worries I’ll think twice before I use UHAUL again.

The parking lot is entirely too small. You can't even get the 26' foot truck down the aisle to your unit. I was not able to access the climate controlled unit with the code I created. I had to wait for someone to let me in and I was not able to get into my unit after hours because my code didn't work.
