The gas mileage was over estimated on pick up of the truck I was told it was 5/8 of a tank when in fact it was only 1/2 full. I was given 6hr window of usage & chargered 24th rate .. but the worst was when I came back inside to retirees keys 2 people behind the counter would not alway me to return the key an told me to put it in the drop box so I could be charged. An extra $20 fee for not down loading the app when they could have taken it right then and there. So I think I’ll be writing to the regional managers and letting them know my concern as well as file a complain with the attorney Gernerals office for unethical practices against consumers..

Please fix the tow/haul, it turns on automatically when you turn the on every time. When i first rented the truck on Thursday the milage was wrong. I was overcharged for it and overcharged for an additional 20 miles.

We were charged after hours 20 dollar fee. The vehicle wasn’t due back until 9am the following day and we had it dropped off by 8pm the night prior. Yet charged a fee.

Normally I wouldn't give feedback, I should have requested another vehicle from the start. The unit rented was clean inside the box compartment and the interior was clean and swept. The odor was unpleasant. They claim that they are none smoking units but this one reeked of marijuana. I did report it upon return, in the future I'll be checking before accepting the rental.

Only issue I had was uploading a photo of the car trailer after returning it. when I took the picture it wouldn't upload and the app closed. Also the hitch of the trailer had no hitch pin to lock the trailer hitch to the ball hitch on the truck side, Besides that everything was great. Thank you

I rented a truck on Friday 1/5 the attendant did explain something’s to me except one thing. She told me the truck had to be back at 8:00am Sunday morning. I brought the truck back on time, U-Haul didn’t open until 9:00am. I parked the truck in the return area and left the key in the key deposit box. They charged me a $20 fee because according to the attendant, I didn’t fill out the return form on line. She never told me I had to fill out a form online, telling me it was in the contract, you can’t even read the damn contract with their small print that needed ink, so she wouldn’t refund my $20. she told me everything else. How in the hell I brought the truck back before she even got out of bed on Sunday. Instead of you having people return the truck at 8:00am, have people return the truck when you open at 9:00am. Not you U-Haul, you scam your clients for a measly $20. You are no more than money grubbing scumbags, I hope to never ever rent a Spoon from you rotten thief’s.

The overall experience was positive until we attempted to return the truck. After cleaning up and following the app instructions, we were instructed to park, take photos and note the parking spot for others to use the truck. As I was doing so, a female employee loudly insisted across the parking lot that we bring the truck to the return area. I tried to explain that the app instructions didn’t mention that, assuming it was for non-app users, but she shouted, “there are clear signs posted everywhere that you can read.” It was very condescending and rude. We were just trying to follow the app checklist after a long day of moving and didn’t expect to be treated that way. This stands out as my worst U-Haul experience, especially considering I’ve moved nearly 20 times in my life.

The experience was not great due to charges, no one can explain why I was stuck with a one-way rental for 3 days. All of the associates I asked explained that it is confusing sorry but here is your price, when I only wanted to rent the vehicle for one day. I am very disappointed and will not use U-haul in the future. The corporate side of the company should have a detailed explanation of charges regarding their policy and procedures. I did review the frequently asked questions, but did not find any answers. One positive was that the staff was friendly and professional.

I don’t know what was going on they forced me to take a one way asking me to drop at a different location When I get to the drop off location the manager said to to go back to the previous location after dropping off the trailer they keep on calling me for no reason just to let if I am going to keep the trailer waste my time.

The general manager has zero customer service experience, she was mad because I brought the trailer late and said she doesn't like me and that I'm never getting another rental from them. The worse experience I've had from uhaul. Her been a general manager should learn how to talk to customer but she's also young and has zero experience in customer service. Now that I read all the reviews now I understand why people don't like going to this location.

The truck reeked of smoke and gave me a headache the entire time I was in the truck. Told the return agent and she admitted she was attempting to remove “pot” smell but it was more cigarette smell. Had they had another truck on premise I would have requested another vehicle. But due to the lack of equipment and the need to complete the task I needed this truck at this time. It’s important to remember there are people that are allergic to that type of thing and could have a potential serious issue. I would recommend removing this truck from rotation.

Prior to dropping off the truck, my husband and I had confirmed that there were no damages on the truck and all furniture pads were folded. We refueled the gas was back up to 5/8 at the mobile gas station right next to the uHaul location. When we dropped off the truck, we were told that we were "all set", we could leave the keys in the truck, and that there was no need for us to stay for the full inspection. We confirmed that we do not need to stay for the full inspection since "it is going to be a while". Unfortunately, we got charged for gas the next day on the receipt. There is no way for us to clarify what had happened with the gas and if the truck was driven around prior to their inspection. I regret being so trusting to the person who told us to leave and being charged extra for gas after we specifically fueled up prior to drop off just seemed like a waste of my effort. This was not a good renting experience and at this point I do not recommend renting from uHaul.

I had called the Sunday prior to my reservation to confirm it and just make sure everything was all set. I was told everything was good to go. Then a few days later I got a call from corporate saying they didnt have the size truck that I reserved! I was livid. The lady on the phone was also not very nice. She seemed put out that she had to look at other locations for the truck we requested. We were using the truck for a fundraiser so it will extremely important to the charity as we had people counting on us. I don't know why Raynham told me we were all set, the lady that called after said they shouldn't have told me that. All they did we discount the mileage by 39 cents. After all the stress and headaches I was extremely unsatisfied. Especially since we had to add miles on because we picked it up allll the way in Brockton. So it didn't even cut the charity a break. Horrible costumer service.

The reservation for the truck and trailer was messed up when I arrived, the facility canceled my storage reservation with out notice and forced me to get a smaller unit which not everything would fit and had to keep the truck for a couple days late to find some where to put the rest of my stuff which ended up being the trash very un satisfied but I will say the staff was very friendly and helpful

Stephen and his staff are phenomenal and provide excellent customer service. The only recommendation for improvement is that thr storage units need lighting inside as its pretty dark and dangerous. I bumped my head a few times moving things out from the the wood planks above being so low if you have a unit on the lower level. Almost got vertigo, but learned quickly to duct your head when moving things to avoid going to ER.
