sir R.This experience wound up being a disaster after the boxes arrived to the storage facility in Nebraska. Specifically, the moving help did not have the appropriate vehicle to haul the boxes to the final destination, so I rented a Uhaul truck for them to drive, when asked for a drivers license they took off and ghosted me. They also smelled of pot. That forced me to pay an additional $300 to deliver and pick up the boxes AND find new moving help. Additionally, trying to get a consolidated receipt is impossible and not helpful when trying to file a claim with my employer. The storage facility in Nebraska city, Cathy and Howard were AMAZING! The customer assistants Robert and Garrett were AWESOME. Pamela and KaNea were ok, but didn't help a whole lot. Overall, I will NOT likely use this service again nor recommend anyone to.

Marlone K.I was not given a lock even though I purchased one. I had no idea how this worked. I assumed the lock would be put on. I had no idea it was a key lock and I did not know. 2. The key pads should be better marked. Being stressed and in a panic, also this being my 1st time, I don't know how those gates operate. 3. The check out was hard for my phone. I did GPS location at least 4 times as well as the place have security cameras and i think I was charged a late fee or something. My photo of dashboard failed to save 4 time when using my phone. The check took half an hour. Those things should have been stated upfront. I'm already at a panic because eof not receiving my lock and then the keypad and then the app checkout. I really felt like my experience was a 1. I wish that day never happened.. The guy in the building was nice and helpful though. I just wish I had know more about the lock situation and to look for it when I left the building.
Leila B. | First ImpressionsWe reserved our big trailer, which made pick up a cakewalk. It was hooked up for us. Return was just as easy. The trailer was clean and in very good condition inside and out. The door functioned well, but stops near the bottom, and you need to push it down the rest of the way, putting fingers in the way of being smashed. You needed to force the door down tightly AND operate the latch at the same time.

The UHAUL customer service & business site were incredibly helpful with our situation. And, had us in a truck within 45 minutes. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Then when we went to load it, we opened the back to find it was filled with pieces and debris of/from drywall. There was also a ton of garbage in the back of the truck. All of which had to be cleaned out before we could use it. It was raining the day we moved and there was a hole in the top of the truck and because of that, we had boxes/things get ruined. When we returned the truck and told the person working all of our issues his response was, “oh, wow, that sucks.†It was terrible service and a terrible experience. We had items ruined because of the poor state/age of the truck given is and additional time added to our move because of the incompetence or complete laziness of the employees.

During conversations with my reservation with team members, no one calls this to attention or confirms this is actually what you want, and simply assume you know that the system did that. While the staff was helpful in finding a solution, they made it seem like this is a VERY common occurrence, yet U-Haul hasn't fixed the underlying problem.

Robert P. | Overall ExperienceMy overall experience was a good one. Everything worked out. I moved out on April 23 and moved in on May 1. The only thing that can suggest is that your man at the Pine Island facility needs some help. He does a fantastic job and is a good man. You need to take care of him or you will lose him. For one man working by himself, he did an outstanding job. I do not remember his name, but he went far and above his job duties. You are very fortunate to have such a hard worker. The other facilities that I used were sufficiently manned and womanned and everyone was courteous helpful and friendly. Overall, my experience with U-Haul was a good one. P.S.- You need to clarify to people up front that that service that you use to provide helping hands for the move is not very reliable and not a true picture of your business. None of the "help" that I tried to employ showed up and one did not even answer my phone calls. Despite this, I would use U-Haul again, but not the man power help service. I would give them a poor review.

The employees constantly leave the gate open at this facility. When I questioned a day where I felt my car had been tampered with they refused to review the footage. I was told that I had to file a police report and that only a police officer could view the footage. Why would I file a report without seeing if there was an issue? If I’m paying for security but not receiving security, isn’t that a breach of contract? If this facility is a reflection of your other facilities, I feel sorry for your customers that are being swindled.
